"And people just do this for fun?" TJ asked as she peered over the cliff to look down at the water. The boys laughed at her.

"Are you scared?" Jared taunted.

"Of course not." She scoffed.

"Leave my girl alone, Jared." Paul said with a smile as he pulled her into his side and away from the edge.

He loved being able to call her his and she was all he thought about while on patrol. The boys liked to tease him, until he kept bringing up when Jared first imprinted and when Sam thought about Emily. They had only been dating for a few days but he couldn't wait to spend the rest of his life with her.

"You don't have to do it if you don't want to."

"And let Jared think I'm a baby? No way."

She peered over the edge again and look a deep breath. She was Trinity Jameson Marks, she wasn't scared of anything!

At least that's what she told herself as she jumped.

"Bella, play baseball? You must be joking right?" She laughed as she turned her baseball hat backwards and then looked at Rosalie's face when she saw that she wasn't kidding. "Oh."

The Cullens had invited her to their baseball game and she was able to give Sam a stupid excuse to get her out of patrols. Luckily, Sam says that if they get more pack mates, TJ wouldn't have to patrol anymore. The only reason why she did it in the first place was to help Sam out. Now that they had three more people, she wasn't needed as much, not that she was complaining.

Edward pulled up in a truck and smiled as he helped Bella out of the car. Rosalie scoffed but Carlisle shot her a warning look.

"Bella!" Esme exclaimed happily, "I'm glad you're here, we could use an alternating umpire."

"She thinks we cheat!" Emmett laughed.

"Sure no problem." Bella said nervously.

Edward and Emmett race to the further out bases while Alice takes her place as the pitcher. Esme is in front of Bella, just incase anything happens, and Rosalie is the first to bat. Jasper and Carlisle are standing next to TJ. The sound of thunder claps through the sky and Alice smiles.

"ITS TIME!"

Why they liked to play in the rain, TJ wouldn't know.

Alice launches the ball at Rosalie like a rocket and a crack rings through the air as Rosalie's bat makes contact. Rosalie zips through the bases and just before Rosalie makes it home, Esme catches it.

Bella's face scrunches up, "You're out."

Rosalie gets up and stomps over to Emmett who laughs at her and tells her that it's just a game. Carlisle is up next and he delivers the same crack as the ball hits the ball. Edward and Emmett both run toward it, running into each other, making TJ laugh. Emmett climbs up the trees to get the ball while Rose fawns over her husband and Bella commenting on Edwards speed.

"STOP!" Alice yells, her voice filled with terror.

The Cullens all race to home base where Bella was standing and TJ takes her place next to Bella, shielded Esme. With TJ's eyesight she's able to see three people coming from the tree line of the forest. TJ takes off her hat and Bella's and puts it on Bella's head in hopes to cover Bella's scent with her own. The second TJ sees a flash of red hair, she makes a move to step forward but Bella grabs her arm. TJ could see the fear rolling off Bella, so she stood by her side instead of confronting the redheaded vampire.

It was the same bitch that attacked her in Port Angeles.

They are introduced as Victoria, Laurent and James, all red eyed vampires.

"Sure, a few of us were leaving, you can take their place." Carlisle said when Laurent asked if they could play.

TJ wanted to knock the smirks of their faces but she knew that it would endanger Bella, so she stood there, shaking. TJ felt the wind blow harder and pulled Bella behind her as her hat got knocked off by the wind. James sniffs and his eyes turn black as he finally locates Bella. Edward snarls in response and TJ makes her and Bella take another step back, just incase they need to make a run for it.

"Are those humans?" Laurent asked, TJ could practically see the drool running down his chin.

"Not all humans apparently." Victoria sneered, looking at TJ. "I thought I killed you!"

"You gotta try harder than that." It was no use hiding, she pushed past Rosalie and glared at the red headed witch. She was beyond ready for a rematch.

"They're our family, and they aren't to be harmed." Carlisle spoke up. If it were another time and situation, TJ might've teared up when he called her family.

"I see this game is over." Laurent says stiffly. "Let's go James." James was looking at Bella with a hungry glare and TJ stepped in his line of sight.

"You heard your Master, leech." TJ spat out, he was going to have to kill her if he wanted to get to Bella.

James snarled and ran away with the other two.

Edward started to explain to Bella, who was in the middle of a massive mental breakdown, about how James was a tracker and wouldn't stop until she was dead. Edward tried to get her to leave Forks but she freaked out about her dad being in danger. But TJ was still seething, how dare they inadvertently threaten Bella.

"Take Bella home." TJ said and heard Edward and Bella rush into the truck and speed off.

"You alright TJ?" Rosalie asked and put a hand on her shoulder to comfort her.
