"It starts in my toes, and I crinkle my nose

Where ever it goes I always know

That you make me smile,

Please, stay for a while now

Just take your time wherever you go

-Colbie Caillat

"You shouldn't use him you know? He seems like he really likes you." TJ mused to Bella.

Though she normally stayed out of everyone's business, she had seen them a few times hanging on the Rez together when she was patrolling. The boys were all patrolling, her parents were working and Emily was at the grocery store so when Bella called her to practice fighting, she took the chance to get her out of her boredom.

Bella liked the girls company, neither of them talked a lot but it didn't seem to bother them. Not only that, it was actually nice to have a real friend for once. TJ was her only sense of normal and the only person who didn't crave her blood at the Cullen household.

"I'm not using Jacob." TJ shot her a look of disbelief as they stretched. "He's just a friend."

"And how does Edward feel about it?"

Jacob hadn't shifted, but from what Sam had told her, he would soon, his linage was strong enough that he was supposed to be the true Alpha. It was just a matter of time now.

"He knows that we're friends." She struggled to find the right words to describe how she was feeling and TJ instantly caught on.

"Isabella Marie Swan, don't tell me you like two boys at once!" TJ was shocked, she didn't think the girl had it in her.

"I don't! I love Edward." Clearly, she was trying to convince herself more that TJ but TJ let it slide, after all, it was none of her business.

"Just be careful, emotions make people do crazy things."

"What's the deal between you and Paul?" TJ shrugged. "You don't like him? He seems to like you a lot."

"I don't know, I'm not really an emotional person but I like being around him."

Bella smiled. "You totally like him!"

"Maybe, I don't know."

Once they finished stretching, the conversation was dropped as she began showing her the proper way to form a fist so that she wouldn't break her thumb. Bella was more clumsy than she thought but it was better than leaving her vulnerable especially with that redheaded vampire around.

After her session with Bella, she decided to start perfecting her archery skills. She was able to get a bullseye every time and decided to step her game up each time she practiced. She could hit a target while she was moving and now she was doing her newest challenge, shooting multiple arrows at the same time as she moved.

"You're pretty good there, Artemis."

She had known that Paul was watching her for the past few minutes.

"Thanks."

They went around collecting the arrows that weren't damaged and she put them in her quiver.

"What are you doing tonight?"

"Probably nothing, why?"

He lifted his hand to scratch the back of his neck, "Did you want to go see a movie with me or something?"

"Like a date?" She was shocked. Although she had started to notice how much he gravitated towards her, she thought he was just being friendly and cautious since she was close with his Alpha.

"Or a hangout. Whatever you want it to be." He stumbled over his words and she smiled.

"A date sounds nice." She figured now was a good time to stop denying her feelings for him. As awful as it sounded, she didn't want to end up confused like Bella but she'll never know if she doesn't take a chance for once.

"You did all this yourself?"

Paul's father was out at a bar so they had the house to themselves for awhile. He brought her inside and waiting for her was a small candlelit dinner with one of her favorite foods, burgers and fries. TJ could see the faint blush beneath his copper skin and it warmed her heart, it was way better than seeing a movie.

"Emily helped with the food but yeah."

"It's amazing, thank you."

They dug into their food and he loved that she wasn't afraid to be messy when she ate. She was a refresher from the girls that were self conscious about their eating habits around him.

"You've gotten really good with the bow and arrow." Paul said.

"Thank you, I think it's easily my second favorite activity. First being boxing."

He recognized that she was an extremely talented fighter. She was able to beat Sam, Jared, and hold her own against a vampire.

"Can I asked you something personal?" She nodded and popped a fry into her mouth. "Have you ever thought of your birth parents?" She stopped eating and he wanted to change the subject.

"All the time, I mean, I love my adopted parents but I'm just ready for some answers. I'm not a shapeshifter but I'm not human either. Honestly, it's the reason why I didn't want to make friends in school. When I was 11, I accidentally broke some boys arm during gym class with just a simple touch. My parents said that they've known that I was different since I was little and when we moved there they told me to keep to myself and don't let anyone know how special I was."

"Well now you have the pack and I, so you'll never have to be alone again." He reached over and put his hand over hers. "I have to tell you something." She shoved a fry into her mouth before motioning him to go on. "Do you know about imprinting?"

She nodded, "Yeah, Sam told me about it, that's why he left Leah for Emily, why?"

"I-... I imprinted on you Trinity."

Her eyes widened and she looked at him in shock. "Are you sure?" Imprinting was a big deal from what Sam explained, they were described as being a werewolf's everything. He nodded. "I have to go." She mumbled and ran out the door.

She didn't make it too far outside before he grabbed her and spun her around, his chest was heaving at the thought of her rejecting him.

"Do you not want me?" His voice cracked at the end and her heart went out to him.

"It's not that... I just... I'm nothing compared to you, I don't deserve your love."

He used his hand to lift her chin up. "Trinity, you are everything to me and more. You deserve the world and I thought I wouldn't be able to give it to you but I've liked you even before the imprint. You're the first thought in my head when I wake up and my last thought when I go to sleep. Trinity Marks, will you be my girlfriend?"

She smiled wide. "Yes!"

He pulled her into a kiss. It felt like everything just naturally clicked into place. She tasted of burgers and he didn't mind. He wrapped his arms around her as he deepened the kiss. The electricity between their lips filled their bodies from the tops of their heads to the bottoms of their feet. The imprinting bond thrilling between them. They broke for air and rested their foreheads against each others with smiles in their faces.

It felt like everything was right in the world.
