"You already know that you're my weakness

After all this time I'm just as nervous

Every time you walk into the room

I'm speechless"

-Dan + Shay

"What's with all the food?" It was a nice day on the reservation and they decided to go to the beach. TJ noticed that Emily had bought more food than usual.

"We've got a new member and you know they eat like animals." Emily chuckled at her own joke and TJ furrowed her brows. A lot must've happened in the week that she had been sick.

The loud stampede of feet alerted them to the boys being back from patrol. TJ kept her head down as she chopped the cucumbers while Jared and Sam went to their respective mates.

"It's good to see you around, I almost missed you." Sam joked as he pulled TJ into a hug.

The whole week, TJ's parents had banned everyone from coming to visit as they were afraid that whatever virus TJ had would spread to others. He had come to look at TJ like the sister he never had and it was weird not having her around.

"Very funny."

Paul knew that the voice belong to Trinity Marks the second he walked into Sam's house. He would recognize that dark curly mane anywhere.

"TJ this is Paul, Paul this is TJ."

The second she tilted her head up to look at him, the world turned on its axis. Nothing else mattered to him except the girl in front of him. He saw flashes of her petting his dark grey wolf, her smile as he proposed and even her belly swollen with his child.

"We've met." She simply said and his stomach clenched. Now that she was his imprint, he felt even more nervous around her. "I knew you were next to shift, pay up Jared!" She yelled the last bit.

Jared came stomping in, pulled out his wallet and slapped a 20 dollar bill in her hand.

"Wait, you know about all of this?" Paul asked incredulously, he was told that only imprints and those on the council knew.

She snorted a laugh, "It wasn't hard to find out, Sam used to be awful at lying. Don't tell me you believed the stupid cult rumors."

He blushed, not only because he believed them but because he loved the sound of her voice, this is the most that he's ever heard her talk. His heart hummed as she talked to him, he could listen to her talk all day.

The girls finished prepping the food and they were all headed to the cars.

"Do you need help with that?" TJ raised a brow and hoisted her backpack up higher on her shoulder as the usual LaPush playboy actually looked nervous. She shook her head no and walked outside.

"Trust me, she could probably carry that bag and the both of us at the same time." Jared joked while Paul shot him a confused look.

He watched as she swung her bag into the back of Jared's truck and climbed in to sit on the flat bed.

"You mind if I sit with you?" She shook her head no and he jumped next to her.

Jared started the truck and peeled out of driveway. He took a corner a little harder than intended and Paul caught her as she fell into his lap.

"I'm gonna get you back!" She yelled when Jared laughed. "Sorry." She mumbled and moved but he still kept an arm around her shoulders.

"It's okay."

He couldn't wipe the smile off his face, he loved the feeling of her in his arms. He watched her out the corner of his eye as she pulled her legs up and rested her chin on them as she looked at the forest. Paul couldn't explain the feeling he felt having her so close or even the fact that she was his imprint. She was everything he could he could have wanted and more. He just hoped that she would warm up to him soon.

When they finally arrived at the beach Paul grabbed her bag and got out first, holding his hand out for her to take so that he could help her out. She took it and he could feel a spark between them when their hands touched, it was the imprint bond settling in.

"Thanks." She shot him a small smile and he felt like he died and went to heaven, if he could keep a smile on her face, he would be a happy man.

They joined the others and helped Emily set up the blanket. Paul sat next to TJ as she began to eat her burger.

"You're not as unapproachable as you are in school." Paul said in between bites.

"I don't try to be."

Jared laughed "Yeah right, people trip over themselves just to talk to you and all you did was ignore them or fall asleep."

"Sam told me to keep a low profile, so that's what I did." She defended in a half truth.

Her parents actually told her to be careful around people, the reason they moved was because she accidentally broke a kids arm and her parents said that she needed to keep a low profile. But it seemed as if it made people want to talk to her more.

"I remember you, you stare at me in all my classes." TJ said as she looked at Paul and everyone laughed.

He cut his hair and beefed up but she remembered those eyes always staring at her, even when he thought she wasn't paying attention.

"Yeah... uh, sorry about that."

"It's fine, I'm used to it."

"Who's up for some cliff diving?" Jared interrupted.
