Inside that bitter brain

There's gotta be a whore

If you don't shut your mouth

You're gonna feel the floor, yeah!

-Guns N Roses

Sam had known that TJ wasn't like everyone else, for starters she could run just as fast as him in wolf form, she had heightened senses and she was extremely strong. Sue Clearwater was a nurse and had come to patch TJ up, TJ was fine for the most part. A little miffed that Jared was actually able to injure her, but she was fine.

A few days had passed since the incident and the next time he saw TJ, her wound looked almost completely healed, except for some angry red lines. Neither he nor any of the elders had any idea how this could happen, she wasn't a shifter that much was certain. Her parents didn't know either, she was left at their doorstep, a blessing from God they said.

One things for sure, she wasn't human.

"I'm sorry that I hurt you." Jared said when he and Sam walked into Sam's house and saw TJ sitting on the couch.

Sam kissed her forehead and went into the kitchen to see Emily whole Jared stood in front of her. She shrugged off his apology and went back to her book.

"Is this why you don't talk to people at school? Because you're scared the secret will get out?"

Clearly he wasn't going to let her read her book, so she closed it. "I'm just not a people person."

"Everyone in school is dying to talk to you and here I am actually doing it, it's so surreal." He sounded like he was fangirling but TJ couldn't be too sure.

"I'm not a celebrity Jared." She drawled.

She didn't care for the people in her town, from the conversations she's heard, she wasn't into all the gossip and nonsense that they talked about, they bored her.

"That's not what everyone thinks. They think you're some kind of mystery."

"She's probably the most boring person I've ever met." Sam joked. TJ gave him the middle finger and resumed reading her book.

When the cafeteria became completely silent, she looked up from her book to see why. Jared had come to her table and taken it upon himself to sit down and eat his lunch. He looked a lot like Sam now, cropped hair, the same tattoo on his arm and the summer clothes.

"What are you doing?"

"Eating lunch."

"Obviously, why are you sitting here? Just because you're with Sam now doesn't make us friends." She got up abandoning her lunch and left.

She was going to make it a point to let him know how she really felt when she got back to Sam's. She hasn't had friends and she sure as hell didn't want any.

"What's your problem?" Jared shouted running after TJ. Neither of them bothered to drive to Sam's so they both just ran. Sam and Emily ran out to see what was wrong and they had never seen the teen girl so angry.

"You! No one told you to sit next to me!"

"That's why you're mad at me? What's the big deal? I just thought it'd be nice to be friends with someone who knows what I'm going through!"

"Did you even bother to ask how I felt about it?" He was silent. "I was fine being the invisible girl that no one paid attention to. Now I can't even walk down the hall without my name in some gossip!"

It was true. After Jared pulled his stupid stunt everyone stared at her as if she were an anomaly. By the end of the day she had learned that she was the dealer that supplied the drugs to Sam's now growing 'cult'. Whatever that meant. And that apparently she was in an open relationship with Sam and Emily.

Fucking disgusting

"I'm sor-..."

"Save it Cameron, you've done enough."
