A few days ago we got back from Australia. Aaliyah and I had decided to rest a few days before going to the doctors, but today is the day we're going. We decided to wear matching Juicy couture tracksuits. We're on the way vibing to 'ain't shit' by Doja Cat. I park the car and we get out. We walk to the reception and get told to wait in the waiting room. We sit down in the waiting room and wait in silence. After like 10 minutes my doctor walks in. "Y/n Y/l/n and Aaliyah perez." He says. "That's us." Aaliyah says as we stand up. The doctor leads the way to the room we need to be in. "Which one of you ladies is going first?" He asks. "You can go first." I tell Aaliyah. As the her baby shows on the screen thingy Aaliyah and I both look at it amazed. "Y/n I think I'm in love." She says. "It's beautiful." I reply. "And the gender is... a little girl. Congratulations." The doctor says. Aaliyah squeals out of excitement. "She's gonna be perfect." I say excitedly. "Hell yeah she is." Aaliyah says. She gets off the bed and I get on. The moment I see my baby on the screen I fall in love too. "Aww" I say. The doctor takes a moment to look. "It's a boy." He says. "He's perfect." I say in a calm voice. "Do you know how far along we are?" Aaliyah asks. "Yes, you are 5 months along. And y/n here... seems to be 5 months too." He answers.

Me and Aaliyah are on the way to my place. We know Jace and Cench are hanging out at Aaliyah's place so we're going to get the house ready for the gender reveal party. We stop at Walmart to get some balloons with "is it gonna be a boy or a girl?" On it. We also buy some cake mix and food coloring and helium dor the balloons and decoration for the living room etc. We get into the car and drive to my place. We go inside and decide to get to work immediately. "Okay so I'll bake the cake. Can you make the frosting?" I ask. "Yes of course." Aaliyah says. I start putting the 4 packs cake mixes together. We've invited lots of people so we need lots of cake. After I'm finished making the cake batter I put it into two large baking pans and put them in the oven. I check up on Aaliyah to see if she's ready yet, and she is. We set a alarm for 1,5 hours. We start to decorate the living room and put up a "is it a boy or a girl?" sign along with the balloons. After we finish decorating the room the cakes are ready. We hollow the middle of the cakes out and put in the frosting. We both start to decorate our own cakes. I put some of the cake back on top of the frosting and decorate the rest of it. I write "Y/n's baby" on it with chocolate. Aaliyah does the same thing with her cake, just with her name instead of mine. We finish setting up the party and start to write a message to the groupchat we made with all the ppl that are invited in it. We write 'Everyone is welcome from now on'.

Jace and Cench are the first ones to arrive (of course) and not long after that the guests start to arrive. "Y'all did a good job decorating." Cench says. "Thank you baby." I reply. I kiss his cheek. Cench clings onto me until everyone has arrived. Me and Aaliyah step forward and ask for everyone's attention. After it's completely quiet I start to speak. "So as y'all probably already figured out, me and Aaliyah went to the doctors today and were told the genders of our baby's. And also how far along we are. We are both 5 months along." I say. "Enough of that, it's time to reveal the genders. Me and Y/n agreed on me going first because I'm really excited." Aaliyah says. She picks up the knife and cuts the cake open for everyone to see. Everyone starts to cheer. After everyone went silent again Aaliyah hands me the knife. "It's your honor to cut the cake." I say and hand Cench the knife. He cuts open the cake and shows everyone the frosting inside. Everyone starts to cheer and Cench hugs me and picks me up. "I can't describe how happy I am right now." Cench says. I can tell he's emotional and his happiness touches me.

After the party is over and everyone has went home i find myself cuddling with Cench on the couch. Every now and then he kisses my stomach. "Have you thought about a name yet?" I ask him. "I have actually. I was thinking Liam." He says. "I love that name." I reply. "So that's gonna be it?" Cench asks. "Yup." I answer. Cench smiles and kisses my stomach. "Hello little Liam." He says and then kisses my forehead. "I really love you Y/n. I don't think I've ever loved any other woman but my mom as much as I love you." He says. That really made me emotional. "I love you so much too, to the moon and back." I say. "Are you crying?" He asks. "Yeah, prolly the hormones." I laugh.
