Things hasn't been easy for me. I wake up twenty five minutes to seven everyday to engage in some sessions with Dean. Some day it's meditation, others are Yoga and fighting, my fighting skills has improved, I can defend myself without worrying about getting hurt.
I can do magic now. Dean taught me some basic spells that I can't forget, my nightmare are getting worse but am not destroying stuffs or screaming. The saying Dean taught really came in handy, whenever I say it, I feel the connection between my powers and me.
I don't know what I did to Roman, he's been so distant lately, actually he hasn't spoken to me since he cuddled me to sleep. The following morning after my first Meditation session with Dean, I saw him in the hallway and called him, he ignored me. I waved at him when we were eating but he behaved as if he didn't see me. I haven't tried talking to him or anything since.
I glance out the window to see us park in the parking lot of WestHigh. It's weird to be back here. WestHigh is my old school, the school I transferred from, the students will recognize me. I still don't know what I'll say to my old friends.
The five headed Hydra back together again. Well, I doubt that they'll miss me, we are all shitty people, and it's not as if am irreplaceable.
When Dean told me we were playing against WestHigh Tigers for a charity, I knew I had to go see my old life, he made it compulsory for me to come and am glad.
The Vale is actually around the corner, people just made up rumors about the place. The ride to WestHigh is not even up two hours.
Roman looks ridiculous in his sport gear, this is the first time am seeing him in other color and he looks different. Am also putting on the school's sport wear, Yellow shirt and blue short. Brie and Ari painted blue and yellow on my cheek, they said and I quote 'It's tradition'
They are both on the team with Roman being the quarterback. Penelope and Alyssa are part of the cheerleaders. Our librarian, Mr Groff is the school coach. And the guidance counselor, Miss Mulligan is the cheerleading squad coordinator. I heard rumors from Brie that those in the cheerleading squad have no bone in their body because of how flexible they are. They convince me to tryout for the team but being a part of a team is not for me.
I snap out of my thoughts and stand up from my sit, I look back to see Dean and Miss Mulligan having a conversation. I shake my head and walk out of the bus. I stalk behind Ari and Brie, those two are life savers and the only real friends I have made. They might be creepy but they've showed me in multiple occasions that they care about me.
I step out of the bus after Ari and Brie, I look around the school. I can't believe am saying this, but I actually miss it here.
I turn my head to the sound of my name, only for my face to meet a ball. Who would dare to throw a ball in my face? I could make a list.
"Cami Stark, as I live and breath," I remove my hand from my burning face and lock gaze with WestHigh Tigers. "I thought you were dead."

"She looks pretty alive to me," April replies Xander.
His teammates chuckles. I can't believe they are doing this me, I used to the one on the other side, talking shit to people not the other way round.
"Now I see why she blocked us," Justin adds. "She transferred."
"Hello Alexander," I deliberately called him Alexander because he hates to be called that, he glares at me, and I smile with satisfaction. "April," I acknowledge April, she looks beautiful in her cheerleading outfit. "I almost forgot about you," I say and look at Justin. "Justin, nice to see you guys too."
"Why didn't you say this was your old school?" Ari and Brie asks.
I shrug. "Didn't think it mattered."
"It does, those guys are trying to bully you," Like I don't know, they can try, and where the hell is Jessica.
"You are right, Justin. We are better off without her, just look at how she looks in that outfit, she doesn't follow rules before, and never attended a game," April shakes her head like she can't believe am here.
"I guess going to a boarding school for freaks will do that you," Xander jokes and they laugh.
I can feel The Vale students angry behind me. Our little conversation is starting to attract audience.
"Do you mind repeating that after I have kicked your asses?" They know better than to do this.
Xander chuckles. "You don't get to do this, Cami. You are on the wrong team, you are on the loser side of the coin."
I chuckle and take a step towards them, but I feel a hand on wrist, pulling me back. I swear I will punch you, Roman.
I turn back to see Jessica. "They are not worth it," She tells me.
I raise my eyebrows. "Jessie?"
She smiles and pulls me into a hug. "I missed you so much," Am happy she's excited to see me.
I hear someone clear their throat behind us, I reluctantly pull away from Jessie. I notice Xander and the others are gone. It's funny how people change in a short time, maybe I am the one that didn't know them well enough.
"Let's go," Roman's demanding voice booms as Dean and Miss Mulligan get off the bus.
"I have to catch up," I inform the crowd and pull Jessie away from the crowd before Dean starts with the talk.

"Why did you block my number then?" Jessie asks. I couldn't look at her.
The both of us are sitting under an empty bleacher as we watch The Vale getting there ass kicked, those guys aren't good for shit, and Roman is so useless. Coach did say the game didn't matter if they win or not, it for charity.
I lied to Jessie, I told her I transferred to The Vale because my parents are going on a year vacation. It's not as if I can just pop and say 'hey Jess, am a witch and I attend a school filled with them' its just doesn't make any sense.
"I guess I was ashamed," I whisper. I was truly, Xander and the other behavior was what I was avoiding. I knew they'd freak out when they hear am going to school for troubled kids.
"Cami," I feel her hand on mine, and I look up to look at her. "You know I'd never judge you, right?"
I smile sadly. "To be honest, I am surprised that you are here with me."

I was surprised and shocked when she told me she wasn't friends with the remaining any more. Apparently her parents found our about our little get together when they were away, so they grounded her for the rest of her life with a ten o'clock curfew.
As predicted Xander was a dick and decided to cut her off after breaking up with her. She was too good to be in their group. Thinking about this makes want to puke, I can't believe I was friends with any of them.
She smiles. "I know why you think that."
I nod. "Because we were never real friends?"
"Because we were never close friends, but closer than we were to the others."
It's truth, Jessie and I were never close but we were closer to each other, I mean I have met her parents on multiple occasions and she has met mine.
I helped kicked her ex ass when he cheated on her, so you can say we have a platonic friendship.
"True," I chuckle and take a sip of my cappuccino. This game sucks and this cappuccino tastes like pure sugar.
"So...." She trails off. "How's the new school treating you?" She asks curiously, and I know Jessie, she will want to know every single details.
"Well," I don't even know where to start, that is how deep I am. "The place is great, it's cool and amazing and beautiful and..."
She nods in amusement, she knows I meant the opposite. "Say it again accordingly and I'll believe you."
I laugh. "You caught me," I scratch the back of my neck. "The school is okay though, not like how we pictured it, they have almost everything and they are good at everything," I should be proud? I go there now.
"Only suck at playing ball," She jokes as her gaze falls on the field. "I like the quarterback though, he's hot."
I roll my eyes. "Roman? That guy is shit."
She turns to me and leans in. God! She loves gossiping. "Even his name is hot, tell me about him and I mean everything."
I can't believe we went from not being good friends to best buddies in a matter of minutes.
"Roman is a complicated being, it's like the guy is bipolar, he runs from cold to steam, he is-" She interrupts me.
"You are totally into him."
I make a disgusting expression. "What? No! No way, Roman and I, not happening," I tuck my crossed leg under my leg.
She grins. "Seems like you have the hots for him," Am surprised she used hot.
"I do not have the hots for anyone," I deny and stop talking when I notice the commotion on the field. "What is going on with them?"
Jessie faces the field and shrugs. "Oh that? That normal, they get physical in every game."
I have missed a hell full of game. If I knew that all the games are always like this, I wouldn't have skipped them.
"Is Xander always this aggressive?" I don't have to ask, I already know the answer to the question.
The referee blows the whistle for half time. Finally, I thought they were going to play forever.
"Come on let's go, let me introduce you to my friends," I say to Jessie. We crawl out of our hiding spot and pull her towards the guys.
They are all breathing heavily. I stand in front of them, standing where all of them can see me. "Why are you all sucking in winds like you are about to take your last breath?" I joke.
But I guess they are not in for a joke. "Bad joke, good game, right?" I try another with a little bit of smile but got the same reaction, they were not amused. "Okay, guys this is a very good friend of mine, Jessica Cruz and this is everyone."
Nate stands up and move towards us. "Nathaniel but you can call me Nate," He pulls his hand out for a shake.
Jessie smiles and shake his hand. "Nice to meet you, Nate," She replies, and I think I saw the blush on her freckled skin.
I notice that they are still staring at each other and haven't released their hands. I raise my eyebrows at them. "I think you've-" I separate their hands and glare at Nate. "Done enough Romeo," I turn to Jessie. "Come meet the twins."
I pull her towards the twins. "I am Brie."
"And am Ari."
"Short for Brianna and Arianna, we like this one, she makes you smile," They say at the same time.
"I know, right," I whisper in her ear and she laughs.
Look at me, laughing and playing with people. The twins pulls Jessie between them, and am surprised they allow someone to sit between them. They are always so guarded that they don't share any thing that they own, they'd rather have you hate them than give you stuff. You can imagine how am feeling now, seeing Jessie between them.
Roman clears his throat and I move my gaze to his. He is looking at me at least, I move my gaze away from his to watch Jessie get friendly with my friends.
"Hey loser," I hear Xander's voice behind me. I turn around to get smash in the face with a bottle water.
"Ouch!" I rub my forehead, this is the second time today, my forehead is burning, am sure it going to leave a bruise. "Why did you do that?" I ask. It's taking everything in me not to snap his head, and I mean it.
He stands and laughs. "Oh am sorry, did you not hear me? And you," I know he is referring to Jessie. "I can't believe you'd stoop so low and laugh with these freak, and I thought I had seen it all when Cami step out of their bus."
I turn to see The Vale students on their feet, ready to defend themselves but Roman is giving them the no look. Where the hell is Dean, Mr Groff and Miss Mulligan when you need them?
Roman can tell the remaining not to fight but I will not stand this asshole talking shit to me, am tired of this.
"Crazy people," I hear Xander jokes with his friends and they laugh as they walk away.
I have had enough today.
I curl my fist in a tight ball, I can feel my finger piercing through my skin. "Lurytendra Azra Bycom," I say to get my anger in check but that not what happened, infact it is the opposite.
I look around when I hear the sound of birds, lots of them. I look down at my palm to see the glowing Raven symbols is glowing really bright.
I can feel it, I can feel my powers. I can also feel the change in my eyes, I don't know how to explain it but it's different. I don't know what has come over me, but I don't what to stop feeling like this.
I see the birds circling Xander and his friends, I can hear their screams, and damn it feels so good and satisfying hearing them scream.
"That's right, scream and let me hear you," I say but that doesn't sound like my voice.
I can hear everybody screaming and I feel happy to hear them screaming for help, I can hear Roman and the others behind but I don't care, all I care about is making them pay, I am not a freak, I am not weak.
"Camille," I see Roman standing in front of me. "Stop whatever it is you are doing with the birds," He pleads.
Oh so now he wants to talk. "Why?"
"Because you are hurting people, Camille, get control, control yourself before you get everyone killed," He sounds frustrated.
I tilt my head to take a good look at him before looking forward to see the chaos am causing. "I am in control," I smile evilly.
