And I hear your ship is comin' in

And I hear a storm is comin' in

My dear, is that all we've ever been

As my lips touch Roman's I feel his sharp intake of breath. Roman's mouth tastes just like I had imagined. I can taste the faint hint of mint on his tongue as he opens his mouth and kisses me. Really kisses me. His warm tongue runs along mine and I can feel his tongue in the corner of my mouth. My entire body feels like it's been ignited; I have never felt like this before. He brings his hand to my face, cupping my flushed cheeks, before both of his hands go to my hips. He pulls back a little and plants a small kiss on my lips. "Cami," he breathes out, then quickly brings his mouth back to mine, his tongue sliding in once more.

Roman pulls me by my hips closer to him as he lies back on the bed, never breaking our kiss. Unsure of what to do with my hands, I put them against his chest, and then climb onto his torso. His skin is hot and his chest is moving up and down with his rapid breaths. He pulls his mouth away from mine and I whimper at the loss of contact, but before I can complain he's at my neck. I feel every swipe and lick his tongue makes. His breath moves across me. He grabs hold of my hair to keep my head just above his as he continues to kiss my neck. His teeth graze my collarbone and I moan, the feeling shooting down my whole body when he begins gently sucking on my skin.

I push him away slowly and lock gaze with him. We are both out of breath, staring at each other. "We...um..we can't," I whisper.

He smiles and reach to caress my cheek with the back of his hand. "I know," He grins. "And we can't because this isn't real," He informs me.

I frown. "What isn't-" I notice that am in my new room and Roman isn't here with me. "Where is Rom-"

Where is the fire coming from?

I jump out of bed and run to my door, holding the door knob, and pulling it hard enough to break the handle. I realize the door won't bulge, I turn around and press my back against the door, I watch as the fire spreads around the room

I turn back to try the door once more. "Let me out!" I bang the door aggressively. "Dean!" I scream loud. "Let me the fuck!"

"Camille!" I feel a hand pushing my shoulder, my eyes snaps open to meet Dean's brown eyes.

I pull the blanket away and move to the headboard of the bed, curl in a tight ball. I can feel tears streaming from my eyes, and the fear is still lingering in me.

"You are okay now," Dean assures me, he sits on the bed beside me.

I shake my head frantically. "No, no, no-" I shut my eyes and look around the room. "No fire."

Dean looks at me with a sympathetic expression. I am pathetic. "No fire, it was just a nightmare, okay."

I sigh and nod. "Just a nightmare, just a nightmare," I swallow as I chant.

Am okay now, am all right. No fire, am in my room, and am safe. "What are you doing here?" I ask curiously.

The boys dorm is on the other side of the building and I don't think it's a coincidence that he is here.

He scratches the back of his head nervously. I didn't do anything stupid did I? I remember moving in all my stuff yesterday after my kiss with Roman. I didn't know what came over me or what gave me the courage to kiss him, when I don't even know him. Thank God he stopped the kiss before it turned into a full make out session, he left after the kiss and I haven't seen him since.

"Your scream woke the whole school, Camille," He tells me.

I raise my eyebrows up. "I woke the whole school as in metaphor?"

"As in you woke the whole school, the students, and you brought down the school magic defense system," He announces.

What?

"What?"

He sighs. "You've been screaming for almost an hour, Camille. Your scream sounds like you are in pain, pure agony-" I interrupt him.

"I was having a nightmare about burning, in my dream, it was just like few minutes until you woke me, what do you mean an hour?" I ask. My head is killing me, it's like I woke up with an hangover.

"I had to order the students to go back to bed, you almost brought down the whole school, what exactly was your dream about?"

I pull my leg close to my chest and bury my face in it. "I already told you, I was inside a room and it started burning up."

He nods in understanding. "When did it start?"

I sigh and twirl the end of my messy hair. "Since forever and it's always about-" He cut me off.

"Fire," He runs his hand through his hair. "Meet me outside in front of the lake tomorrow morning," He orders.

"You guys have a lake? And I thought I have seen everything," I whisper. "The magic defense of school?"

He nods. "Is back online, you need to learn control, I will start with the basic tomorrow, get some sleep," He gets up from the bed and stare down at me. "Camille," He calls me and I look up to meet his gaze. "Please be there."

I nod. "Sure."

It's not like I have a choice. I watch as he walks out and close the door behind him. I close my eyes and sigh. My dreams are getting worse. I can't believe I woke up the whole school, aside from yesterday when I did magic with Roman, I have never done magic consciously. Now, that am thinking about it, it all makes sense. Anytime I have a nightmare, I always find something wrong, it might be the light bulbs or the door, I always damage stuff. I never thought it was me, I always think that it was pure coincidence.

I wrap my arm around myself. "Cold?" I yelp at the sound of a familiar voice. A chill runs through my spine, and Goosebumps erupt in my arm and neck.

"Do not sneak up on me like that, I just had a nightmare," I whine. "And Am guessing you didn't leave when others left?"

Roman has a way of sneaking up with people, the guy creeps me out. "I couldn't stay away," He answers sincerely, he is always forward about what he wants.

"How did you even-" He interrupts my question before I even get the chance to ask.

"Invisibility spell," He shrugs and walks towards me.

I nod. "Right, do you ever change your clothes?" I ask curiously. Unless he owns more than a thousand black outfit, I have never seen him in other color or style. It's black T-shirt, black jeans, a black ripped jeans jacket and black boots.

"When I bath," He replies.

I sniffle my nose in an annoying way. "Might be time," I tease as he stands beside me.

He rolls his eyes. "Scoot over," He demands and I shift for him a little. "Are you okay?"

I shake my head. "Honestly," I sigh and look at him. "Am not sure. How loud was I?"

He sighs and move his hand to tucks the loose strands hair behind my ear as he stares at me. "Pretty loud," He replies.

I lean into his touch. "I don't know what's wrong with me."

He smiles. "Nothing is wrong with you, Camille. You are just a little out of control because you had no one to teach you, and now you are here, you'll learn."

I nod at his sincerity. "I hope," I really do hope.

I bring my hand up to rub my face when I notice something, I can't make out what it is because it's already fading but it looks like it's a burning-

I reach for my necklace and compare. "It is exactly the same," I whisper. The symbol on my hand is exact raven symbol on my necklace.

"What?" Roman who wasn't concentrating ask.

I show him my palm. "Look."

He blinks his eyes and lock gaze with me. "What am I looking at?"

"What do you mean what are you looking at? Can't you see-" I stop talking when I take a look at my palm and realize that the symbol is gone. "I swear it was-" I sigh and cover my face with my hand.

Now am seeing things. What the hell is wrong with me?

"Camille, you had a long day and having a nightmare wasn't really helpful, why don't you lie down and sleep," He says.

He has a point though.

"I don't think I can go back to sleep," I tell him, am not sure what I'll do if I sleep again.

He removes his hand from my shoulder to remove his boot, he guides me down like am disabled person, and get in bed with me.

I don't know what it is with him but I feel like we are connected in all ways, I don't know anything about him but it's feels like I have known him my whole life, I forget about everything when am around him, he makes me feel safe.

"Styl Yan ollonan," He whispers. Am not sure what type of spell he just casted but am pretty sure it's not a sleepy spell.

"Wow," I whisper absent-mindedly when my room changes from a dorm room to outer space. "How did you do it?" I ask as I admire his work.

The stars look so close and they are beautiful.

"Illusion spell," He whispers.

I move closer to him, finding comfort in his arms. "You have to teach me how to cast all this spells."

He chuckles, the vibration from his chest sends a jolt of electricity to my spine. "One step at a time, now, hush and get some sleep," He whispers as his hands plays with my hair.

His breathing is the last thing I hear before sleep consume me.

I can see Dean waiting impatiently for me by the lake. It is mirror-silver lake in color, the lake is beautiful. The reflection of the trees is mint onto the mirror-silver lake and is shaped like a perfectly flat disc of metal. No sound rings out from the shimmering

emptiness of space around it. The serene lake nestle in the cloister quiet gully. Cloister seems fitting. The blue sky seems to be engrave onto the lake. It is peaceful.

When I woke up this morning, Roman was gone. I sleep well, no nightmare, no overthinking of useless matters, I am glad Roman stayed with me last night, because am not sure what would have happened if he wasn't there.

I showered and changed in my black sport bra and black tights. Am not a fan of meditation and yoga, but if it is the only thing that can help me control my power surge, am willing to give it a try.

I walk towards him and greet him cheerful. "Good Morning."

He looks hot in Adidas Converse and Sweatshirt and Sweatpants. I shouldn't be admiring my teacher but I can't Ignore that way he looks in that outfit, am used to seeing him in suits.

"You are late," He wasn't impressed, his voice tells me all I need to know.

I clear my throat. "You didn't give me a specific time, you said and I quote this morning," I bend and raise both my index and my middle finger in sync to express myself.

He frowns. "Fine, my bad," He mutters and I smile. "Come on let's do this."

I nod and move towards him. "Before we start, I have a question," I say, he nods giving me a go ahead. "Why this place? I can easily meditate in my room without disturbance."

"I want you to connect with the nature first, and the lake is the right place to begin with," He answers.

He is right about that.

"Megan Mook, a New York City-based yoga and meditation teacher says The best part is that you get to bring all the joys of being outside into the meditation practice," He says.

He sits on the floor and I do the same thing. "When we sit on the ground during our nature meditations, our body's rhythm synchronizes with the earth's natural vibrations. This harmony greatly enhances the experience of meditation. It may seem that our senses are heightened - our hearing feels sharper and our skin receptors feel more sensitive. In fact, it's the lack of ambient busy-ness and the sense of well-being that allow us to be more in sync with our senses than usual."

I did not get any of that, it's like Alexa reading straight from Wikipedia.

"There's a legend about a demon princess, her name is Laura-El-" I interrupt him.

"El-Laura-El of Di Hipsodat," I whisper.

He raises his eyebrows in surprise. "Yeah, I know about her, am pretty sure I heard about her in middle School, the story haunted me for days," I shrug.

"She wasn't just a legend, she was real, which makes what we are about to do very easy barely an inconvenience," He assures me.

I nod. "Got that from Ryan?"

He furrows his eyebrows. "Who?"

I sigh. "Nevermind, let's get to work. One question though, is the other part of me you were trying to figure out, a demon?" I ask curiously.

"I don't know but the saying might help you focus," He explains.

"What saying?"

"Lurytendra Azra Bycom," That doesn't sound like a saying.

"What does it mean?"

He shrugs. "I don't know, but the princess real name was Lurytendra, and she had a dragon named Azra, it was in the legend that whenever she said those words, her soul merged with her dragon and she becomes very powerful," He explains.

I nod. "So, basically if I say those words, I'll be merging my soul with theirs?"

He chuckles and shakes his head. "No! it's like calling her for guidance."

"Okay, is she like a god or something?" I ask curiously.

"No! She was a demon and a princess, and please stop asking questions," He begs.

I growl at him. "You sure it's gonna work?"

"Won't know if you don't try it, it worked for Roman," He reveals

Roman, Roman, Roman. I am tired of hearing his name around me. The guy is literally my living shadow. Don't get me wrong I have nothing on him, but it seems like there is more to us than being the last witches of The Scorpio Coven.

"Okay, so how do you want me?"

"Watch me."

I mimick the Buddha pose, with both my palms resting on my knee, his eyes were closed too.

"Take a deep breath and relax," He whispers.

I take a deep breath and relax, I close my eyes and shut my mind to focus on the environment.

I can feel everything. When we sit on the ground during our nature meditations, our body's rhythm synchronizes with the earth's natural vibrations. This harmony greatly enhances the experience of meditation. It may seem that our senses are heightened - our hearing feels sharper and our skin receptors feel more sensitive. In fact, it's the lack of ambient busy-ness and the sense of well-being that allow us to be more in sync with our senses than usual.

"Now repeat after me. Lurytendra Azra Bycom."

I sigh and whisper. "Lurytendra Azra Bycom."

I go still and everything around paused- no not paused, everything slow down. I can hear everything, I can feel everything. As the water drops from the leaves, as the bees hums, the fishes in the lake swim quietly. I can feel the power causing through my veins.

I open my eyes slowly to see Dean smiling at me. I guess I did it. I break the transition by removing my leg. I think we've had enough for a day.

My gaze falls on my palm. Just like it appeared yesterday, I notice a fading burning bird or raven on my palm.

"This is definitely not an illusion," I whisper as I watch the symbol fade away.
