Before we start, Don't worry about me because I'm doing A Okay

Lots of love, Abs xx

They didn't like what was happening but neither had a choice.

Nobody liked anything and everything that was happening but they didn't have much of a choice either, everything happened out of their freewill all because they were too busy trying to run for their life from a magical maniac.

Life was a once in a lifetime experience and when the offer if over you no longer have the choice to buy it. And Marinette just happened to miss this once in a lifetime offer.

Ladybug seemed to miss the memo too.

But the rest of the world were either early or arrived just in time to receive their end of the offer and Hawkmoth and Gabriel Agreste seemed to be apart of the rest of the world, leaving Marinette in an unfortunate situation where she found herself stuck and clueless on what to do now.

Despite the huge age difference and that they both wanted separate things but with the same object, it's what led to this entire debacle in the first place and it made Marinette wish she never got involved in the magical world in the face place.

Yes, she'll forever be thankful to Master Fu for the doors to another world that he's opened for her but it doesn't mean that she doesn't want to shut those doors firmly shut because that's exactly what she's wanted to to since she was thirteen.

Marinette was only thirteen when she was thrust into a world of magic, chaos, teen heroes dressed in skin-tight and flying animals who were Gods and Goddess' called Kwami's.

Marinette was only fourteen when she lost them. Marinette was only fourteen when she found the true definition of toxic. Marinette was fourteen when she was left all alone and defend less.

Marinette was fifteen when she lost the yin to her yang and that was when she truly felt all alone in a brutal world.

Marinette was sixteen when everything unfolded and the truth came into the light to the ones she loved the most.

Marinette was sixteen when she started to make better life decisions for herself, but how could she do that when she missed out the offer that life hands out to everyone because Marinette still hadn't received hers nor had she been in time to buy the offer herself.

Marinette was seventeen when she found her life's pace slowing down without any consent and she had no idea what was going on.

Marinette is seventeen.

Sometimes you just gotta cry it out.

Let out those tears no matter where you are and who you're with because its your tears you shedding and no one should tell you not to.

Sometimes people say not to cry and others say to let it all out, and then you've been left all alone with two decisions and are left contemplating for so long that nothing ends up happening.

So some nights you lay in bed and cry yourself to sleep but then during the day you act all dapper and that everything is going swell when it really isn't.

The day progresses and it gets even harder to keep up a shell that you wish was indestructible but when it's all over and you're alone at home, you cry by yourself again.

The same thing repeats itself day after day that it's become routine and you've become a robot whose been programmed to do the same thing and know nothing different, that's exactly what its programmers have built the robot for.

And then you've gone numb and the tears have run dry meaning you can no longer physically cry, no water leaking and no more stained cheeks.

but soon enough someone's bought back those tears with millions of dollars they have sitting around and you find yourself crying out your heart in front of the obscenely big mirror you have in your house somewhere.

So you gotta cry it out sometimes.

Marinette finds herself crying it out too

You gotta eat three meals a day, that's what it expected and it's also what your told your entire life growing up.

She used to eat three meals a day growing up, I know I did too.

Marinette found herself pulling out the scales everyday to check her weight and she became so obsessed with reducing that decimal number she saw on the metal contraption that she stopped the three daily meals.

She was losing the weight at one point and I know I did too.

People thought she was anorexic and people thought I was too.

She never forgot the scales and neither did we.

She would make food that people wish they could eat but would continuously shove them to the side to be left untouched till they basically no longer edible.

And there was the time when you first enter Secondary school and you experience all these new emotions, the stress, the good and bad friends, the teachers and the ups and downs of the years that should be yours to cherish.

It's during this time when you're always sleeping in late because you stay up all night and early morning laying in bed and scrolling through your phone reading whatever fanfiction you found.

That same morning you wake up to only have a minimum of five hours of sleep but no matter how late you fell asleep, your phone isn't fully charged and whatever the percentage it is, it isn't one hundred percent and it agitates you for the remainder of the day.

You wake up and miss the alarm which you swear you turned on before laying in bed but that doesn't matter anymore because your parents don't believe that.

This then results in rushing to get ready for school and you need to walk there meaning you haven't got enough time to make and eat breakfast, nor could you make your lunch and you spend the first two hours of school hungry.

Break comes around and there's no money in your account, purse left at home because its attached to your keys and you lost those last week. So then you don't eat till you get home but when that comes around, you've lost your appetite.

Your forced to eat dinner but only have half a plate before turning in for the night and everything repeats itself like a cycle but you don't know any different because you've become so accustomed to your new way of life.

Marinette knows that cycle all too well and so do I.

When was the last time you had your daily three meals because it doesn't hurt to say that you can't remember because neither can I.

You gotta remember that there are people out there who still care for you and your wellbeing. An example of a person who cares is me and her and them.

When you have that special someone who cares, it will always feel weird because your not used to it but that's Okay.

Some however don't care and it's these people who are useless, they're sitting around and are wasting precious oxygen, poor carbon dioxide.

It doesn't matter who cares because as long as they are there with you, that's what matter.

Marinette had people who cared about her once upon a time but that was all a fairy-tale.

She left those who didn't care but she also left behind Marinette.

Marinette didn't bother being left behind, she sat and waited and waited but no one came till another five years later.

She has people who care now and Marinette who got left behind just stood up from sitting, and she's making her way back to her.

She cares now.

Don't take my picture, let me get myself ready and pretty.

The picture will look better if I look better too.

Never mind, that angle does nothing for my face.

I've decided to now hate my side profile, can we take that picture again please?

I look decent but don't post it please... crop me out at least or just cover my face in something.

I'm not sure if I wanna be tagged, I'm an overthinker so maybe

You know what, I'm ruining the moment, you lot take pictures and have your fun.

Marinette doesn't have a say when people take pictures and post them onto social media of her as Ladybug, it truly makes her so uncomfortable. Does it hurt to ask for consent from time to time, or maybe have a nice caption because nice captions would make it all easier for her to deal with the endless attention.

Yeah, it helps ease the constant attention that no one asked for.

Just don't

Say, No thank you.

Your welcome

Marinette said it all but what she's saying now is what's most important.

She stood frazzled, blood leaking from places she didn't even remember being hit let alone touched.

Her eyes fluttering and her soft eyelashes brushing against her ghostly white skin. She felt nothing, she felt Oh so empty and she didn't bother addressing the big mess she was.

Ladybug collapsed and the world stopped moving.

Hawkmoth was shaking consistently as he propped himself up onto his hands and knees totally out of breath, his eyes drifting to the unconscious teen and he couldn't help but let a victorious smirk settle on his chapped lips.

He couldn't care any less about his broken bones or the large purple bruises littering his entire body, he didn't care at all because he had won and the earrings were already his.

At a very slow pace he stood and using his now crooked cane as a walking stick, moved forward with a limp in his left leg but he payed no attention as his eyes were sorely on his soon to be possession.

Due to his injury covered body, he tripped over thin air multiple times but he wasn't going to let that stop him from achieving his goal.

He would be unstoppable

but Gabriel forgot one very important detail during his slow trek to the bleeding girl... The Heroine wasn't fighting alone.

He was brought out of his thoughts when he heard the loudest crash he had ever heard coming from just outside the house, his eyes zoomed over to check on his comatose wife and he let out a light sigh when she was left in the condition he had last saw her in.

He looks up and around the ceiling to try and find some sort of faulty but found nothing that caught his attention.

So, content with the results he turned back down so he could take off her magical earrings but was only faced with bloody grass. Crimson footsteps trailed off and his grey eyes followed the footsteps but they went so far that his eyes could no longer see in what direction they went in.

He shouted in agony and dropped down on his knees as he punched the dirt ignoring the pain his knuckles were in. He failed and it was all because he took his eyes off of the measly girl for no more than fifteen seconds.

Gabriel Agreste was known for his strict demeaner and his extreme stubbornness, he wasn't about to let this slide.

It probably took him about ten to fifteen minutes till he was standing but he was more than prepared to find the pesky bug and crush her like all insects deserved.

He didn't care if she was a teenager, all he cared was to bring back his wife from her 'sleeping' form and if that meant putting a bullet through her skull.

He'd go to the end of the world for it.

The blood never stopped dripping as she held both her hands to the right of her abdomen, that wasn't the only place she was bleeding from, she was bleeding all over and this faint feeling had overcome her ages ago.

She wanted to collapse before she fought the man but she knew she couldn't for the sake of Paris' survival.

Then she actually fought the man and the world, correction, her world came tumbling down in pieces and she gave into the temptation. She had been injured so badly that she actually felt the pain for once, she had always been feeling numb but to actually feel pain she wanted it to stop and all the memories came rushing back with the tide.

She scanned her surroundings and furrowed her brows when all she was met with was silence, she had limped all the way to an abandoned alleyway and she was given some time to recover and take a breather before carrying on.

Despite her body and bones screaming and cursing at her to stop with her physical activity, she turned as she kept her left arm propped against the building and looked to the entrance of the alley, the person standing there scaring her yet she didn't even flinch or show an expression of shock due to her extreme fatigue.

She looked up throw her eyelashes and was met with familiar blue eyes and she let her guard down knowing they weren't any threat.

She could feel him examining her body from where he stood and she knew exactly what the look he wore on his face meant so all she did was shake her head, her frazzled midnight hair bouncing along with her movement despite it being waist length.

Marinette really wasn't in the mood for him to fuss over her so she just gave him a single look and he nodded while clearing his throat.

There was something wrong with him and Marinette could simple take that from his posture and how weird he was acting, normally he would be talking away to distract her from their current situation and from her immense pain but he remained quiet.

Her eyebrows scrunched as she tried to study him further without using words but he wasn't giving away any sort of clues leaving the bluenette render less.

"What's wrong Jon?"

So, it's been a while since Marinette had been to Paris, in the past five-ish months there had been no akuma's sent by Hawkmoth meaning she had no reason to come visit and she never did because she wasn't obliged to. x

During this time period a lot had happened from the class going back to Paris before their two weeks were up, a few teachers were sued, a 'few' court cases and charges were sent to 'one or two' people but not too many.

Marinette had gotten justice and now it was Ladybugs turn to have her turn of justice too.

Did you know that...

Justice is simply behaviour or a type of treatment

It's the quality of being fair and reasonable

It's the administration of the law or authority in maintaining it.

It could also be a judge or magistrate, in particular a judge of the supreme court of a country or state.

noun. the quality of being just; righteousness, equitableness, or moral rightness: to uphold the of a cause. rightfulness or lawfulness, as of a claim or title; justness of ground or reason:to complain with .

It's a concept on ethics and law that means that people behave in a way that is fair, equal and balanced out for everyone.

It's the quality of being just, impartial, or fair questioned the of their decision: the principle or ideal of just dealing or right action.

There are actually four types of justice for those who didn't know and they all have a different meaning, however we've all grown up knowing the word justice without knowing its deeper meaning.

We grew up learning the word and it became apart of out vocabulary that no one questions, do people question why and how they learnt a word because all we speak is what we've learnt we somehow came to learning its definition. But did we collective as humans learn the word and its definition?

There's distributive justice, Procedural justice, Retributive justice and restorative justice.

Bet you didn't know that.

You really do learn something new everyday don't you.

Everyone was tired, superpowers or not but the ones with superpowers were the ones who were handling the fatigue and pain better due to their powered abilities.

All the akuma's had been defeated and the battlefield remained shredded with battle remains and whatnot, the scene was something an average person wouldn't be able to handle but them, they could handle this but it didn't meant they enjoyed the view.

It had been all of the justice leagues first time fighting an akuma or a magical enhanced person as such, let alone fighting a magical maniacs minions in a city that is known worldwide as the City of Love.

They had all gathered together in the front of town hall once they realized that there was no more akuma's to fight and purify.

Over the past few months, things were beginning to settle down but they were also just starting.

The ladybug was the only miraculous that was able to purify the evil that the butterflies were infected with and in any battle fought against Hawkmoth, no matter who was there the ladybug had to be present or else the butterfly couldn't be purified and then they would fly away but not before multiplying and spreading like a malignant disease.

So using all their geniuses, they had all come together and made two types of contraptions that were also able to purify the akuma's.

One was a black sphere that when opened contained the magic that was inside of the ladybug yo-yo while there was another one but it was it was a black cube, however the cube was a one time use only meaning after one butterfly it could no longer be used.

They had made the cube first but after a sudden breakthrough the magical sphere came into existence; they used both contraptions anyways.

They hadn't thought too deeply into its appearance and the matt black was quite nice actually so it was left at that.

They all stood at the town hall where the building itself wasn't in its best conditions due to obvious circumstances but the half burnt down hall didn't faze them one bit.

The brutal-ness was something very abrupt they had been given no time to comprehend the situation no matter how prepared they were but they knew they had a job and they did it well like always, neither were they given breaks while fighting but that was no problem, one akuma after another and doing the same thing fight, purify, fight, purify, it got a little boring at one point but with each akuma having its own level of absurd costumes, stupid names and random powers none of them were ever bored for too long.

It took a little to get used to the long gone silence but when they did, the peacefulness was nothing but welcoming.

It remained quiet and no one moved till superman turned his head to look back at the two new people who had joined them, no one else had heard them nor seem them due to how quiet their movements were but obviously due to his enhanced hearing he heard their unvoiced arrival.
