Confrontation day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm actually so hyped for this chapter so I hope you all enjoy everyone getting their asses handed to them.

Let's get straight into it then shall we?!!

******

Alya Cesaire was trying to update her blog, keyword being trying because for some reason the screen remained frozen no matter how many times she tried to refresh the page. She'd been at it for the past ten minutes now and she was starting to lose her patience because she had some proper tea to write about but this fricking website wouldn't load.

Just flippin load already!!!!

Their laughter died down as they watched the brunette with Ombre hair that was beginning to fade away - That reminds me, Alya needs to find some time to herself where she can re-dye her hair again. She's wayyyyy overdue.

Carrying on, the classes attention gradually drew onto the girl who started to hit her phone on the corner of the table they sat at while she was on the very edge of the half cushioned chair she sat on.

They finished lunch not that long ago but decided on chilling for a little bit since there wasn't much places they were allowed to go. The dining hall had less occupants in it than there was during the lunch rush, a few families and couples scattered at different tables all eating and talking contently.

It felt weird coming to a crime ridden city and to find everyone happy and with smiles on their faces. When they were in Paris, they didn't hear very good things about Gotham and it seems like all that they heard was just stereotypes. The Parisian class were quite surprised actually when they found out that majority of what they heard was practically just stereotypes and people spreading rumours.

Besides that, their trip so far had been quite nice and adding in the fact that Marinette hasn't made an appearance in quite some time is a very positive thing. Now that they're on this topic and if they deeply think about it, what actually did happen to Marinette?

The last they heard and saw of her was nearly three days ago in W.E cafeteria when she was having that allergic reaction and was rushed to the hospital by their two tour guides. Ever since that day, not only had they not seen Marinette but they also hadn't seen the two tour guides who were meant to guide them for the whole two weeks of their stay.

Instead they had some other staff whose name they forgot. The new tour guide was a woman but depending on where they went it changed but something about her didn't sit well with the class, mainly with Lila.

The new tour guide went by the name of Vanessa, she worked for the Wayne company obviously but unlike their previous two guides, she seemed a bit more hostile and snappy.

She always had an opinion and didn't like to argue or arguments in general, anything said against her or even if something bad left their lips, she would immediately shut it down not only with attitude but with evidence.

Lila could clearly say she was impressed and Alya was awed at how that even without evidence, she could end any conversation and argument.

Vanessa was clearly proud and passionate of what she did for a living and it would make sense if she was someone's role model because she was practically the perfect person to aspire to be when you grow up.

But that's what irked Lila, Vanessa was perfect.

Too perfect and she hated how she oddly reminded and resembled a certain bluenette in their class.

Lila had tried more than once to manipulate the woman but to no degree did it work and Lila desperately wanted answers as to why it wouldn't work!

Like, what on earth was so special about Marinette Shitting-Cheng and this Vanessa lady that her powers don't work on them?!!

Lila never got an answer as to why her deception and manipulation never had any sort of effect on Marinette but over time she just accepted it and it was kinda entertaining to mess and bother someone who wasn't under your control.

Back to the main subject at hand, today for a very random reason they were given a free day to do whatever. They've been out of Paris and at Gotham for a week now and with all that they've seen and learnt so far, it was only fair they were given a single day of free reign where they went and did what they pleased.

Obviously there were rules and restrictions but besides that, with what they've been shown, everyone roughly knew what they wanted to do and where they wanted to go. As of right now, they were just chilling before they went out for the whole day.

Ms Bustier at this current moment was supervising from afar but was mainly sipping on her tea as she watched her students happily converse while one student bangs her phone against the edge of the table.

Every now and then, someone would leave and enter the dining hall but no one really payed attention unless you were the type of person who noticed every little detail or you could just be extremely paranoid. So when someone entered this time, no one really payed attention besides a few others who ate their lunches in the hall. The ones who did see her didn't realise straight away but after a bit of inspecting the girl, it was more than apparent who she was but who were they to say anything?

Those who noticed the girl who wore a white shirt tucked in her black jeans with a flannel and ankle boots to finalise the look, they watched with deep attention and curiosity as she slowly but with authority and confidence walked over to the only class in the room. The way in which the girl, who the men and women of Gotham recognised, walked was with authority and she radiated this power they've never really felt or seen before.

With the way she dressed and presented herself, even including how she walked, she could really pull of the model look. Her neutral facial expression much like the look a lot of her family wears, the way she 'strutted', what she wore; it was plain and simple that she was a Wayne.

You'd be more than stupid if you couldn't see that she was a Wayne, because it was more than transparent to the naked eye that she was one.

Marinette approached the table and it seems that her presence was finally noticed by her peers as they all turned and faced the bluenette, their faces all fell at the exact same time and all Marinette could do was smile at that fact. The smile was more of a smirk but Marinette tried her best to conceal her feelings towards the group despite knowing how this conversation was going to go.

Marinette had planned and envisioned this conversation in many ways but in the end, there was only one way that made the most sense, in the sense of which direction the conversation would go in and what the ending results would be. That's why Marinette is currently trying her best to put on her kindest smile that concealed her smirk.

But can you seriously blame her?! The temptation was real but acting was second nature for anyone in the superhero line of business.

"I hope you guys didn't miss me too much." Marinette pulled a small frown on her glossy lips as her eyes scanned over the boys and girls seated in front of her.

Boy was this going to be more than fun.

None of the students had the words to reply, they hadn't really thought about Marinette much because their minds were in other places. If they were being truly honest, they slightly kinda forgot about the girl but finally seeing her after her several days of being radio silent certainly did shock the group of boys and girls.

If your currently thinking about what Ms Bustier is doing about her missing students arrival? She actually hasn't noticed because of how caught up she is with her tea and magazine she bought.

Marinette gasped as she moved her right hand to her chest feigning a look of betrayal and hurt, "Oh God, I hope you guys haven't forgotten about me because that truly hurts me right here." Using her index finger, she pointed to where her heart is located, her actions nothing but her purely acting.

Not only did Marinette's sudden reappearance shock the group but another thing that astonished them is how Marinette looked. Normally Marinette would were clothes that didn't sit on her figure, clothes with dark themes and colours but today was different. Yes, she was wearing her normal black boots but it had been a hot minute since they saw her wear jeans even if it was black.

Lila would forever deny that she liked what Marinette was wearing and Lila would also never admit aloud that she did actually really like what she was wearing.

'Damn you Marinette'

Marinette's bluebell eyes sparkled with mirth as they finally landed on Lila and she very subtly let her smirk show,

"I've truly missed the lot of you and we've got several things to discuss about"

Marinette let her hands drop to her sides along with her fake smile, her demeanour totally changing with the flip of a switch.

Marinette was more than aware of the lingering eyes of the others that sat around them eating their lunch, she was also more than sure they recognised her the moment she stepped into the room but she couldn't care less.

If she had an audience she was sure going to give them a show, its even better that they didn't even have to buy tickets for this show because they're in for a fun packed time for what they're about to witness. So what if they recorded because Marinette couldn't care less.

Marinette flicked the small part of her hair that covered her vision ever so slightly, the stray strand of deep midnight blue coming out of her hair that she had put into a quick but neat braid; her hair reaching the middle of her back now that it was tied.

"Oh where to start, Where to start?... Let's go from the top, the very beginning or should I just be straight up blunt?"

She gave the class a curious look as she looked them over once again. With no replies given back to her, she chose which option herself. She whispered under her breath so that no one else heard, only she heard herself.

"Alright then, imma be straight up blunt then."

Her eyes stopped and landed on Lila again, she tried her best to keep her face neutral but her smirk just couldn't keep hidden

"Your beloved Lila is a fucking liar and is a number one bitch."
