《Who am I?! (Completed)》Chapter 31

Lila stared at the mix of female and male teenagers in front of her, all of them conversing together unaware of what the Italian is silently plotting. However, one thing that they all know for sure is... Marinette Dupain-Cheng won't be a problem but there's something none of them are aware of.

Marinette Wayne is going to be a tough stain to remove once it's appeared, and there's no going back now.

Lila sits with her so called 'friends' as they all laugh together over some joke Kim made, Lila fake laughed along with them with a forced smile since she wasn't paying attention and was actually day dreaming. If the Rossi girl was going to be honest, she never understood Kim's jokes and neither did she find them funny, for Lila it was the complete opposite and she found them stupid and dumb more than anything.

If Lila was being more than honest, she preferred her older brothers joke's and that proves a lot since he could never make a successful one without being laughed at due to his amount of stupidity. They laughed at him, not with him.

Big difference unless you thrive to be a comedian in the future. Then you do you boo.

She tried to turn her full attention onto the group that sat besides and before her but something was bothering her but she wasn't sure just what exactly this 'something' was. She felt like she forgot to do something, maybe she forgot her phone back in her hotel room?

No, she has it in her jean back pocket.

Maybe she forgot to use her powers on someone and left them out. Oh God, if she forgot to do that then God forbid what the consequences would be. She quickly double checked and scanned her 'friends' with her green eyes that flashed a different colour for a mere second.

No, they were all under her control and didn't even notice.

Or maybe she didn't eat this morning... no she can clearly remember Rose bringing her a breakfast muffin before the day had fully began. Or perhaps...

She can't actually remember if she forgot anything but it was just a gut feeling gnawing at her constantly and it was something she simply couldn't shake off. Maybe it was a warning, or maybe it was simply her paranoia but Lila would stay alert for the remainder of the day till this feeling of forgetting something disappeared.

Only then would she relax but for now she'd just have to strap in and hold on tight because this could be a long day.

Lila would only later find out that long would be an understatement.

The planning had only just started and Marinette already wanted to go to sleep. She had tried her best the night before to get some sleep but trauma doesn't exactly help when you want to get some shut eye. Marinette can't help but wish she wasn't this traumatised because one of these nights, she really just wishes she could sleep with no nightmares or disruptions but life ain't that easy.

Life actually seems to have a grudge against her and Marinette can't help but question why?

Marinette was scribbling a bunch of random words in her notebook, the words all none-related to one another and even in different languages because

Why not?!

Some words in French, some in English and even more. The words went from types of food, to both negative and positive adjectives, random feelings and even ended up writing some peoples names and doodled around the names to make it look like she put some sort of effort into it to make it look pretty.

Her end product was something very chaotic yet she liked it. A small smile grazed her pink lips as she admired her notebook filled with cute doodles and random words written and scrambled all over.

Despite it making no sense and having no relation to any subject, something warm fluttered in her chest and a heartful yet quiet chuckle left her lips. There was this energy that her 'piece of art' as she now calls it, radiated and she loved it. It somehow resembled her.

Organised and put together yet it wasn't perfect and it was slightly messy but since when was organised messes a bad thing? It was cute but the more you evaluated it, the more you discover. It was the literal definition of Marinette and she had no intention to even try make something like this but nonetheless, was happy with it.

Organised Chaos

That exactly resembled her family.

The chaos her family radiates is exquisite yet she loves them to bits. They're all violent and self-destructive in their own creative ways that its shocking. They all have their problems, they all have their traumatic past, they all have their one coping mechanisms and they've all had their ups and downs in life and oddly enough, they all look strikingly similar that it's a bit creepy as to how Bruce found them all.

They all got on each others nerves like all siblings did, they all got up to no good when they all came together. Even if they never showed it, they all care for each other no matter what, even when they don't show the affection.

They'll mess around together and will fight and bicker but that doesn't make them any less siblings, it only brings them together.

Oh, but there's only one thing that can either make or break them. Two simple words and the world could be ripped apart.

Game night

It means everything and isn't for the faint of heart. It can result in both physical and verbal fights, shouting, things being thrown all around, alliances and enemies, people no longer on speaking terms, revenge and sometimes even tears. Oh, and you must not forget the many bets they make because that's key.

The family is very, very competitive.

Game night is taken very seriously in this household and you must not only come prepared, but you must come with a bullet-proof/full proof plan and don't forget to come armed with not only money but weapons... Just in case things don't go to plan...

Which is actually more than often - Basically every time they have a game night but they don't want to admit it.

Game nights are a lot to handle but they wouldn't have it any other way because, where's the fun if Game nights were simple and boring. (The exact opposite of how their game nights go)

Now that Marinette sits here and thinks about it, they're in desperate need of another Game night soon but, there's a few things that Marinette needs to get done before they have one of those.

Marinette looks over to the clock that sits perfectly straight on the wall, she quickly but softly closes her notebook and places it on the table along with her rubber top pencil before swiftly standing up and whispering to herself under her breath.

"I guess it's time to get ready."

Unknown to Lila Rossi, she wasn't the only person with a long day ahead of her.

Strap in tight Lila Rossi because there's a few people who are going to come for a visit and nothing nor no one could prepare her for what's to come.

All I can say is, The best of Luck to Miss *cough* *cough* Rossi.

******

Marinette wouldn't lie if she said she wasn't nervous.

Beforehand, they had all come up with a plan but Marinette knew that at one point, one of her siblings would lose their shit and would go completely off script. Marinette was so sure that it would happen that she held no doubt and for some reason, she really wanted someone to lose their shit because her class more than deserved it.

It would be very entertaining to see someone go off at them.

Marinette herself wasn't quite sure what exactly was going to go down but for extra measures, they took some precautions beforehand.

Not much could go wrong but there was nothing wrong with being careful.

Marinette stood with her three miraculous'- the rose gold glasses propped on the bridge of her nose, her earrings in her ear like always since she never removes them and her gold ring securely placed on the middle finger of her right hand. The posture she stood with showed no indication that she was recently in the hospital for two days.

Marinette wore a long sleeved white shirt that on her figure was slightly loose accompanied with black denim jeans, her shirt tucked into her jeans. Due to the chilly weather, she wore a flannel on top and to finalise the outfit she wore her normal black ankle boots.

The outfit was all last minute and she hadn't really put much thought into her appearance before she left, it wasn't her top priority but if she really thought about it, she did kinda look good.

And that says a lot considering Marinette is still iffy about her appearance and weight. Even the slightest confidence about her looks, makes her happy because she hasn't been this optimistic in quite some time and she'd be lying if she says she didn't miss her old go-happy self that was always confident and bright.

Marinette would indulge further but right now wasn't the time to wallow in pity about her problems, the many, many problems she has with herself.

But the main priority at this moment was confronting none other than Lila Rossi and her mindless sheep- they were literally mindless.

After hours and hours of thorough investigating, it didn't take a genius to figure out that Lila had powers. It was way more simple than rocket science and connecting all the dots, everything all made sense.

Not only was Lila Rossi to blame, but Marinette's classmates and ex friends were all lacking a few brain cells because Lila's powers weren't simple to understand and use. They were complicated and it would take some time to get people under her control.

With Marinette's knowledge, she was ready to finally tell the truth. It was always something she never wanted to do because she preferred to lay low because once the cat was out of the bag, God knows what the results would be and taking into account her the type of people in her class...

Well, to put it into more simpler terms,

Today was going to be very long and super productive and Marinette absolutely cannot wait.

The time had finally come for everything to come into the light once and for all, Marinette needed to make sure someone was recording because this was certainly something she would want to go back to and watch in the future.

The bluenette was determined to get this done today and she wasn't going to chicken out, even though she was never the type to back out of anything. Marinette had mountains of support and she definitely knew it.

Marinette took a sturdy step forward and entered the hotel.
