Lots of love, Abs xx
Lila Rossi is a very hard girl to describe.
But can I just say she is more than just a simple b*tch.
She's someone who shouldn't even exist on this earth or in this entire universe, whether she's in this galaxy or another. She's completely irrelevant to anyone and everyone but I'm only writing about her because she's apart of the plot in this book and without her this book would kinda suck.
(So suck it up children because this whole chapter will be sorely based on Lila Rossi)
Lila is a sixteen year old girl, turning seventeen next year - not that it's important because we don't care for her birthday anyways - and is currently living with her mother in Paris. Elena Rossi currently works for the Parisian government and has also been a single mother for four years now after her divorce with her now ex husband, Leonard Rossi.
Due to her busy schedule and the fact that she never lost feelings for her ex husband, she never got around to changing her last name, she never thought to change Lila's either.
Elena Rossi was a good person overall and it was hard to believe that Lila came from that woman's womb, they were two completely different people and it made you wonder just how badly twisted Lila is on the inside for her to be like this.
Lila Rossi loved her life back in Italy and also loved her father, loved in being past tense. She lost all affection for him unlike her mother who still has feelings for him, as soon as she got whiff that he had been cheating on Elena for nearly a year.
Leonardo was surely a good man till that day but something was always different about him that made the man stand out from the crowd. He had this sort of power that no one else radiated and it seems that Lila inherited that from him.
That power was something she never got a full grasp on till she was freshly turning nine, the day of her ninth birthday and she was still living in Italy with her two happily married parents and had received a sudden visit from her older brother who decided on surprising his baby sister and came all the way from his college in America just to see her for her birthday. As soon as she saw his face, her birthday was complete but the day didn't finish there.
It was midday and they were in the garden, sun shining brightly as it blinded her and she eventually disregarded the cheap sunglasses she had been wearing from a magazine she got as a gift from her uncle who did drugs and looked like a hobo, she didn't want to think deeply on how he afforded the magazine but accepted it with a bright and cheery smile anyways.
She was sitting on a picnic blanket and was trying to figure out how the camera that her brother gifted her worked, the flash blinded her for a mere second before she pulled it away from her eyes and tried blinking away the black spots that clouded her vision.
One of her many cousins approached her and asked for something, that certain cousin hadn't been to the house in quite some time and considering it was newly bought, not many knew where things were located. Her cousin asked for where the bathroom was located and Lila showed her cousin the way and pointed the directions before she was left alone.

One thing that confused her was that Lila realised she gave her cousin - Camila - the wrong directions and accidentally pointed out the coat closet.
Realising her mistake, she rushed into the house discarding her camera on the multi coloured picnic blanket and was intent on finding her cousin. She took a sharp right and found her Camila staring blankly at the closet which she had opened, what took Lila by surprise was that Camila's eyes were no longer it's original green like Lila's but they were a shade of an unnatural brown. Lila nearly screamed at that.
Lila immediately jumped backwards but only moved so far and her sudden movement caught Camila's attention, the sudden brown pigment that were in her eyes disappearing almost instantly before they returned to its original dark green.
Camila smiled slightly at the sight of her younger cousin before asking for the directions to the bathroom, totally forgetting that she had asked the exact same words not even five minutes prior.
Lila pointed out the proper directions and watched as her cousins walked around aimlessly for the bathroom, the sudden brown pigment reappeared in Camila's eyes once again but Lila was given no time to say anything as her cousin was already walking away to find the bathroom.
Lila was shook and was on edge for the rest of the day. She noticed that several more times the same thing happened to some other members of her family: one of her uncles, two of her aunts, another one of her cousins and even her best friend who was invited to the birthday party. One thing Lila also noticed that whatever was happening to her, had no affect on her elder brother and dad even though it had even affected her mum.
For the next week, Lila researched relentlessly before she found a reasonable answer but just to be completely sure, she consulted her older brother before he flew back out to America. It was now or never because once he was in America, it would be quite some time till she saw him again.
Her brother, unlike her wasn't surprised by the news. He was actually expecting this to happen because he has the exact same thing happening to him, it first happened to him when he turned seven. Surprisingly, her father was the one who they inherited it from as he too has what the two Rossi children have.
After much explanation and talking with both her brother and even her dad, she found out what was happening.
Lila Rossi was a fricking meta person thingy with powers.
Leonardo Rossi was the person both her and her brother received their powers from, they never asked for it but were born with it. They never asked for it but learned how to deal with it, learned how to control it but never used it. No matter the situation, unless it was life or death or if it was a desperate situation they never used their power.
The powers were genetic and she was sooner or later expected to receive her powers.
That's the difference between Lila Rossi compared to her brother and dad.
Precisely four months after discovering her powers, she began using them in school and with her friends. She couldn't exactly use it around her family since she didn't know who exactly had powers, she needed to find out soon because she didn't want to be walking on egg shells for the rest of her life.
She then later realised that the whole of her dad's side of her family shared the same power: mind manipulation and deception. They all had it but never used it, however that's where Lila was different.

She began to move schools after several bad problems had occurred but that was all her fault. The problems and school changing didn't stop and for some odd reason, the blame was never put on her, no one ever found out of her actions.
Then everything changed when her parents got divorced when she was in her last few months of being twelve. Her brother permanently moved to America and had recently proposed to his girlfriend of four years, he was happy and due to the long distance wasn't able to be their for the court hearing which was only taking place to determine which parent took permanent custody of Lila.
Elena won the case easily.
It really did help to be working for the government and to have friends in high places.
Deciding to move away from Italy was in the process of moving on and forgetting her ex lover, staying in the same house as the cheater was too much for the mother and based on him being quite well known in Italy, the best choice was to move out the country. And that's exactly what Elena did.
Moving to Paris was a fresh start for the woman. She was a single mother and was freshly hired to work for the Parisian government and the mother and daughter duo moved into a two bedroom apartment near a high school where Lila would attend. The new environment, the new faces and no toxic masculinity was exactly what Elena needed and it worked its miracles because look at the woman now.
Elena is thriving as a single mother and has been good off without a significant other for more than three years now and she doesn't plan on going back. She's got everything she wants in Paris and never once has she regretted her decision to divorce Leonardo.
However, moving to Paris was something Lila was using to her advantage. More people to deceive and manipulate but one thing she wasn't expecting was for their to be a magical terrorist and for two magical teenagers to be fighting against him and fighting for the Parisians lives and safety. This only made things much more better for the young Rossi and her plan had just upgraded.
Life in Paris was going to be amazing and she had no doubt about that.
The rest of the story is pretty self explanatory. She enrolled into Francois Dupont and got accepted as a transfer student. When starting the school, she immediately found her place and all the pieces of her plan fell into place.
She found the most popular students, the students with the most connections, the student who had it all and so on. At first she thought she found the right people and they fell directly into her rabbit holes and were under her control, others took longer to manipulate and deceive but it all worked out alright in the end.
But then something went wrong. Not everyone was on her side, they weren't deceived or manipulated and it angered the brunette.
Chloe Bourgeois and Marinette Dupain-Cheng
Chloe was someone Lila never planned on having on her side but she did with Marinette. Marinette had good connections, she was popular, she knew famous people, she was good at everything and nonetheless was the perfect person to use her power on.
But it never worked out.
At first Lila thought it would a phase but it turned out that her powers never worked on the bluenette and she never found out why. As the days went on, she had the favour of the whole class besides the two females and she was happy but that didn't stop Marinette.
Marinette continued to thrive, she got more popular not only in school but outside too. Marinette was happy wherever she went and what made it even worse was that she had both of her parents. A loving mother and a father who didn't cheat on his wife. Lila was livid with that fact and from then on decided to plot against Marinette.
Things began to go back to how she liked it. She got her followers to hurt Marinette both mentally and physically and Lila enjoyed watching the girl deteriorate. Marinette began to isolate and distance herself, she wasn't around often and practically didn't exist anymore.
Lila's work with Hawkmoth increased and the outcome was positive, more people would get akumitised and they were lethal. Hawkmoth was having the time of his life, all till Chat Noir stopped showing up.
One sudden day, he felt a shift and he felt the power of destruction disappear, disappear as if it was no longer in his reach and like it never existed. After forcing the answers out of Noroo, he found out the black cat ring was taken back by the guardian and was no longer in use.
It meant that he had zero chance of having both miraculous' till he found out Ladybugs identity since she was the new guardian. However, that never happened because somehow, Chat Noir's absence only gave Ladybug a positive effect.
Ladybug got better and better at what she did and she even got stronger, she upgraded even if she was alone. Lila continued her work in both school and with Hawkmoth, life was amazing.
Then Sabine and Tom died... because of her.
It wasn't her intention to get them killed she swears!!
It was just a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time!!
She never knew they were going to die! She totally wasn't in the bakery and delaying them further from doing what they were meant to be doing!! It obviously wasn't for revenge and because she was jealous!!
Marinette just needed a taste of some different medicine... and it clearly worked because on one faithful school morning they were delivered the news.
Marinette had tried to commit suicide.
Marinette tried to commit suicide, that doesn't mean she succeeded though.
The moment she received the news, it was all blissful but then they found out she survived and she frowned. All this effort and for her to just survive death?!
But Lila wasn't going to give up. Oh no, Lila would continue on this path till the end.
Till Marinette Dupain-Cheng was no longer existing on this earth... No matter what it took, Lila would make sure she succeeded in any way and in any form.
But there is one thing that Lila Rossi isn't aware of is that Marinette is always one step ahead. Lila doesn't know the fact that Marinette's plan's always work without a doubt, Lila is absolutely unaware of this.
And another thing is, that Lila doesn't know is...
She's ready, she's ready for whatever Lila brings...
Marinette Martha Wayne is more than ready because she's got something Lila doesn't.
Just you wait Lila Rossi because Marinette Wayne is full of surprises and most importantly...
The youngest Wayne is lock and loaded and ready to strike.
And she's got plenty of backup...

8 4264A New Life
Davin Benjamin was posed a question that no one ever hopes to face. To be able to live a life with full mobility, or to be able to see his family, at least for a significant portion of time. Follow his journey, and watch him overcome struggles that many would stumble at. I took the picture used as the cover, though it was edited with Befunky, not that I paid for anything.
8 106Kill the Harem
I was never a person who struggled with anything. Whatever I wanted to achieve, I achieved, except for finding a good reason for living. That was until I died. Perhaps it was karma, or perhaps it was some particularly sick god. I woke up in a world full of magic and encountered all these women who became romantically obsessed with me. It bears an uncanny resemblance to those garbage isekai series that I had the misfortune of reading in high school. The problem is, I loathe isekai. It got to the point where ever time I read about a busty elf-girl wanting to follow the protagonist, I wanted to throw something. It's illogical and it ruins the flow of the story. But now, I'm the one getting harassed by such illogical people? What complete and utter drivel. If any obsessive crazy person tries to make me theirs without even caring about my opinion, I'll f*cking kill them! I'll kill them all! I'm getting back home no matter what. My favorite manga hasn't finished yet and I want to read it to the end. Q&A Section Q: Is the protagonist mentally healthy? A: No, not even close. Q: Are all the female characters stupid? A: Barring extenuating circumstances, nobody rational would fall for a guy like the protagonist, so there's a bit of selection bias going on here. Q: Is this about a Gary Stu killing a bunch of irrational harem characters in a cliche isekai world? A: Go reread the title and the synopsis. Q: Do the women die because they won't sleep with the protagonist? A: No. I'm not sure where anyone got that from since it's entirely the opposite of what happens.
8 204The Dark Star Emperors
Three girls awaken in a mysterious dark room. All three given powers by the light, but now have been brought back from the underworld consumed by darkness. Their memories lost. But they each have their own reasons for fighting guardians of the light. The three, Jack, Mary, and Yune, must work together and overcome their own differences to defeat the light.
8 113Hodgepodge
Hodgepodge is a collection of stories set in a realm where planes fly, immortals walk, people summon weird animals, a rabbit uses a traveling shovel of death, a man and his dog try to change the future, and the underworld decides to send someone to calm things down to stop the flow of the dead. Please enjoy.
8 498Shadow Falls
If you wanted to protect someone you loved, how far would you go, and what would you be willing to sacrifice? This question is at the core of this emotional rollercoaster of the book, Shadow Falls: the Rise and Fall of Erida VanIsle. This book emerged from four years of collaborative storytelling centering on the main character, Erida VanIsle, written by author Myra VanIsle. In this book, VanIsle goes beyond the events that led to Erida's sacrifice and explores forty-five years of the cost she paid to protect the sister she loved more than life itself. Shadow Falls explores the family tragedy which led to the separation of two sisters on completely different paths polar opposite of each other. While Erida set upon a path of darkness and power, Myra set out to be a beacon of light and hope bringing justice and peace to others. Be warned, the story VanIsle tells is dark and not easy, because you can't have the light without the dark.
