《Who am I?! (Completed)》Chapter 27

Okay, so life was a little confusing at this current moment but things were going smoothly.
...
That's a lie actually. Nothing was going smoothly and life was nothing but confusing.
Marinette's been through so much, all she wants is a break but no. Life doesn't want Marinette Martha Wayne to have a break and will keep shoving problems her way.
It was this exact moment the bluenette decided that life was extremely unfair and she no longer liked life anymore.
It had been two days since her eyes changed colours in the hospital and that whole eye colour changing debacle has continued ever since. At random times during the day she'll just be doing day to day activities and it just happens. Whenever it happens, it's the same pain, same eye colour (that same certain shade of purple and blue) and with the same people she's seeing but in different scenarios and situations.
She's always seeing Hawkmoth and always seeing Gabriel. She's always seeing Mayura and always seeing Natalie. She's always seeing Noroo along with Dusuu but something new she saw yesterday shook her beyond her core.
She'd been getting used to the sudden flashes despite the unruly pain - she could never get used to the type of pain that twisted her organs - when she saw her face. She saw the state her body was in and she wanted to cry, she desperately wanted to cry because all that she's been told has been a lie.
Emelie Agreste wasn't missing or dead.
Emelie Agreste was in a comatose state in the basement of her house. The state the older woman's body was kept in looked peaceful but how can Marinette judge?
God, who knew the world renown fashion designer, Gabriel Agreste was so evil and twisted?!!
Marinette was now determined to punch Gabriel's face through the wall but her punching session was being put on halt due to her current predicament.
Not only that, but something else had changed and she couldn't yet tell what it was that was happening or had happened. It was like this gut feeling she had but she couldn't quite put her finger on it just yet and that's what annoyed her.

⁸It was like when she knew something bad was going to happen during a fight with an akuma, she had bad feelings during those fights and her gut feelings were always correct no matter what.
It's why she's the one to make the battle plans. It's why they always win.
The feeling was vague but it got stronger at random times, she wasn't quite sure what it was but she was more than sure the feeling wasn't a positive one. It was a feeling she wanted to so desperately shake off and forget but she couldn't, she had to pay attention to it and make sure it had all of her attention because God forbid she dismissed it.
Marinette sits on a sofa in the manor with a blanket resting on her shoulders as she sits crossed legged with her sketchbook in hand, doodling and adding the final touches to some of her previous designs. Two days ago, she was able to leave the white walls of her hospital room but was no longer allowed to stay in her hotel room where her class could easily find her.
Kwami knows what the class would do when they found her, no one even wants to think about it knowing how far Lila can and would go with her evil schemes.
Marinette doodles as she waits for time to pass, besides her sat several kwami: Tikki, Plagg, Wayzz, Sass, Trixx, Mullo, Barkk and Ziggy all sat with her to keep the girl company.
They talked in hushed voices as they intently watched their guardian in her element with a small genuine smile permanently on her lips. Something they hadn't seen her wearing in quite some time and they couldn't be more than happy to see her picking up her old pieces, the pieces of herself she was losing and the pieces they thought she lost forever but here she is proving them wrong.
The Gods and Goddess' kept the girl company knowing that if she stayed all alone for too long, she would get lost in her thoughts and every time that's happened; the consequences were never positive ones.

The Kwami and their guardian waited, waiting for one person in particular who was meant to be visiting them today. Marinette in particular.
The miraculous wasn't a joke and neither was Hawkmoth, even if he was a deranged middle aged man who was driven on the thought his wife could be brought back with the black cat and ladybug miraculous.
Only if he truly knew.
The person they were waiting for was someone Marinette has known for several years and she practically considers her as family, she considers the whole superhero league as her family to be honest. However, this woman in particular had some answers that Marinette didn't have and needed, she could answer the questions Marinette needs an answer to because she's desperate now.
Marinette needs help and she's admitting it now. She's no longer going to constantly put her life on the line because no matter how much she wants to leave this earth, leave this life, leave this reality; this earth needs her, this life needs her, this reality needs her and most importantly, her family need her.
That's her current drive to not give up and ask for help.
Marinette isn't giving up and deflating, she isn't stepping down from her mantle or is letting anything happen to her pride and ego. Her pride isn't high enough, her ego isn't that big, they could be non-existent if she deeply considered it; that's what happens when you have Lila Rossi as a classmate.
She's expanding her horizon and is allowing people in, she's accepting the help that's always been there but she's never taken. She's doing her job as the Guardian of the Zodiac miraculous box and is going to make sure she does her job right, because there's no going back.
There's a reason Marinette makes the plans during fights and battles against akuma's. Marinette's got a plan,
She's the one to make the battle plans. It's why they always win.
Marinette's plans have always worked and she's more than sure her plan will succeed because if she fails, when she fails
They're all doomed
But she won't be a bystander, she's standing and is making her stance. Her life has been set in stone and she isn't giving up anytime soon.
Ladybug is going to prove to all the past guardians and miraculous holders who she met for briefly a few hours that they made the right choice in helping her, the right choice in believing in her and that Master Fu made no mistake in giving her the mantle of the ladybug and great guardian.
Marinette slowly peels her eyes off her sketchbook and looks up, the chandelier hanging as it usually does when someone isn't hiding in it. She looks up and thanks those who came before her because without their help, Marinette Martha Wayne would no longer be.
A relieved sigh escaped her soft pink lips as she glanced back down at her book filled with pencil markings and a few eraser bits, her eyebrows knitting at a mistake she found in one of her many dress designs.
Before she was even able to pick up her pencil and use the rubber end of it to fix her design, she hears a door opening behind her and feels another presence enter the room.
The person not a normal one, someone who's strong and holds authority. Someone who holds more than enough power, someone she looks up to and the person who should have her answers.
Marinette looks over her shoulder, the kwami clocking onto what she sees and they float up from their seated positions to get a look at what their guardian was seeing. A small smile appearing on all their faces upon seeing a woman who has grown way too much since the last time they saw her.
Diana Prince, better known as Wonder Woman.

Path of Righteousness
What do you desire? What are you afraid of? You run away from one, pursuing the other. Is that all you are? Conquer your fears. Dig to the bottom and confirm, what you really want... ...For you cannot escape suffering and death. You only have a little time. Use it wisely. Uru, a young boy with no talent for magic or fighting, sets out on a quest to become an avatar of order, the physical embodiment of righteousness, in a distant future, where control of origin energy allows people to defy physics and manipulate causality. Mocked by fate and broken by impossible dreams, all that's left is to stand in defiance to cruel existence. Because there is a Truth out there, somewhere. Singular, transcendent, eternal. What would you sacrifice for it? *** This is a fantastic sci-fi epic. It's going to blend both western and eastern traditional fantasy tropes – like might & magic and cultivation – with rational sci-fi grounded fully in reality, to produce a purely fictional fairy tale. I'd like to deliver something light-hearted and yet wholly serious. An uplifting adventure exploring the unfathomable reaches of humanity, free of indecency, with a healthy dose of humorous banter, legendary beings, and most importantly – lots of exciting, firework-filled mayhem! I've tried reading many web novels, but there's a fundamental problem with them – the eastern ones are annoyingly repetitive, superficial and morally destitute, while western ones are often dark, convoluted and profane. There's only so much one can do to filter out the bad and try to fill in the gaps with their own imagination. It's one thing to eat tasty fast food, but if it's moldy and filled with toxins, then it's not only poisonous, but also disgusting. The appreciation of beauty and higher values is disappearing at an alarming rate. Although there are throngs of talented people out there, none of them are creating what I want to witness – an inspiring battle against impossible odds, ending in absolute victory. A triumph of the spirit so overwhelming, it crushes the spectator into his seat and takes his breath away. I'm looking for a real paragon, so now I'd like to try conceiving one. *** The MC's name comes from Tolkien's Elven dictionary in Silmarillion, 'Uru' meaning 'Fire', and 'Dagnir an Uruloki' meaning 'Slayer of Dragons'. *** Note: I'm neither a native speaker, nor an aficionado of literature – I've never written anything before, and despite proficient English my literary prowess is abysmal. It therefore takes me a painful amount of effort to polish the chapters and bring them up to par. Last year I wrote and posted some on FictionPress, but I stopped since it wasn't going anywhere. The appalling amount of filth and mediocrity being peddled in all the media nowadays – a result of no conspiracy to manipulate the masses, but plain supply and demand – is no longer just the triumph of form over substance, but most worryingly corruption of the latter. Who wants to read about ideals anymore? And yet, masses flock together to gobble up perversion and depravity. That being said, I can't rule out pitiful exposure as the culprit to my failure, so I am now once again trying to increase it here, possibly for the last time. If there are still human beings present, hungry or in need of a detox after eating too much garbage, make yourselves heard, so I can see a reason to continue the story. Otherwise it's pointless – I'm not going to make fodder for the masses, and I'm most certainly not going to throw pearls before swine. I'll simply stop writing altogether.
