Lots of love Abs xx
Betrayal is the breaking or violation of a presumptive contract, trust, or confidence that produces moral and psychological conflict within a relationship among and between both individuals and organizations.
Often betrayal is the act of supporting a rival group, or it is a complete break from previously decided upon or presumed norms by one party from the others. Someone who betrays others is commonly called a traitor or a betrayer. Betrayal is also a commonly used literary element, also used in other fictions like film and TV series, and is often associated with or used as a plot twist.
Now Marinette has watched plenty of movies and once upon a time, had a faze where she was a dedicated book worm and she saw betrayal as a sort of crime that only people who were criminals at heart could commit; she was 9 and not 16, she hadn't met her class as of yet. She truly thought nothing so cruel could actually be an actual thing in this reality, yet the timeline she lived in proved her wrong.
All it took was a single, pathetic girl transferring from a neighbouring country, claiming she knew a few people and had them on speed dial, spill a few crocodile tears and pin the blame on a loving girl that everyone knew and loved passionately; this was all it took for betrayal to enter Marinette's life and take over. In all honesty it was suffocating.
It came ever so slowly, they all one by one began to leave. She trusted them with her life but here they were, threatening her life as if she doesn't have enough on her plate already. It was like Plagg cursed her without her even taking his Miraculous, his curse and bad luck seemed to remain as she stripped Chat Noir of his Hero title.
It snuck up on her the best, she always had good senses and not being able to sense the betrayal from even a metre away, felt like a knife to the ribs. One by one losing the people she learned to love and trust, felt like a knife to her lungs. Being pushed away, called names, slandered and so on, felt like a knife in her spine.
Letting the darkness consume her by the day and watching as she looses her loved ones to death, watching her city die and come back like nothing happened. Watching as people forget the screams of their children, the blood of their parents, the loss of friends, destruction of life, felt like a knife to her heart.
Betrayal sucks, you can't deny it. You don't have to experience it first hand, you don't have to see it with your eyes. If on a movie, book or a story like this; its oh so real and Boy does it hurt like hell. When your all alone in a world like our own, the betrayal weighs you down, it kills, its a bullet in the head.
Your practically dead in the end, physically or mentally; its the same either way. Don't deny it, try deny it but it will come back and bite you in the butt where it hurts; people are thick headed and are in desperate need of a reality check. The akuma class will learn one way or another, the Batfam have already pledged to it and when they set their mind to something, they get it done no matter what it takes; especially if its for their own.

Love encompasses a range of strong and positive emotional and mental states, from the most sublime virtue or good habit, the deepest interpersonal affection, to the simplest pleasure. An example of this range of meanings is that the love of a mother differs from the love of a spouse, which differs from the love of food. Most commonly, love refers to a feeling of strong attraction and emotional attachment.
An intense feeling of deep affection.
A great interest and pleasure in something.
A person or thing one loves.
Love is something that can be limited to people. Love is something that is none existent to some people. Love is what people are surrounded by. Love is something used as an insult or guilt trip to some people. Love is an ordinary feeling everyone feels... Well almost everyone.
Love is something she had and felt for most of her life, even while her life started in Paris. She loved her brothers and father with every living fibre in her being, she loved them to the moon and back, she loves them so much that she would risk her own life for theirs. Its the reason Hawkmoth is still going. Secrets are hard to keep, especially if you come from a family like hers.
Love comes naturally, it shouldn't be forced, that's just manipulation.
Adrien Agreste
The name cooing girls, his oh so amazing appearance pays off for his disgusting demeanour. He may seem like a ball of sunshine but he's the exact opposite; Oh Honey no. He's a spineless coward who broke his promise, He's obsessive and even abusive. He's the stupid son of a famous yet evil man that goes by two names: Gabriel Agreste and Hawkmoth. Both father and son as bad as each other.
He's the guy all girls have a crush on, the fan girls even included Marinette. She will forever from that day and till she dies and even in the afterlife, regret her stupid and pathetic crush for the Bastard. He's a sicko, He's a coward, He's a bastard, He's a predator, He's a person no one should have to encounter. He's nothing, and I'll repeat it for the rest of eternity, Nothing to Marinette.
Love can be permanent, Love can be temporary. Love exists yet its non existent. Depending on experience, do your beliefs change.
------
Death is the permanent, irreversible cessation of all biological functions that sustain a living organism. The remains of a previously living organism normally begin to decompose shortly after death. Death is an inevitable, universal process that eventually occurs in all living organisms.
Death is a peculiar thing, it brings depression and distraught yet some seek it out and find peace in it calling it beautiful.
Death is something Marinette has seen way too many times than anyone should. She's only sixteen for God sakes and she's been to hell!
Despite google saying its irreversible, there's a thing; magic exists. The one who holds the Ladybug Miraculous has the ability to resurrect the dead from battles, its what Marinette has done and won't hesitate to do so. It brings along grief no matter the way you pass, intentional or not.
Does the Grim reaper exist? Who knows. Does heaven and hell exist? Who knows. Is it like an eternal rest where you sleep peacefully? Who knows.
How bad would it be to confess that Death has been on Marinette's mind more than once? How bad would it be if she pursued it? How bad is Death actually?

No one has lived to tell the tale or answer the Question: How bad is Death? What does Death feel like?

Loneliness is an unpleasant emotional response to perceived isolation. Loneliness is also described as social pain- a psychological mechanism which motivates individuals to seek social connections. It is often associated with an unwanted lack of connection and intimacy. Loneliness overlaps and yet it is distinct from solitude.
Solitude is simply the state of being apart from others; not everyone who experiences solitude feels lonely. As a subjective emotion, loneliness can be felt even when surrounded by other people; one who feels lonely, is lonely. The causes of loneliness are varied. They can include social, mental, emotional, and environmental factors.
Sadness because one has no friends or company.
The fact of being without companions; solitariness.
The quality of being unfrequented and remote; isolation.
Nearly everyone has been lonely at least once in their life, because if not, then you have a lot of friends and family.
Many find to be alone peaceful, being around people can be fun but from time to time the company can get too much or just irritating in general. Being by yourself every now and then lets one reflect, helps concentration. However, some will disagree and say its unpleasant. People prefer to surround themselves, they fear to be left alone. Loneliness can become a social problem, you can forget how to communicate, how to be social. It can become addicting.
People are forced into it, like Marinette. Friends leaving you, friends moving away, trust is non existent, your now lonely. But when your Marinette, you used to be popular, you were a social butterfly, bouncing from person to person. Someone new would attract your attention, your bubbly smile and positive words were contagious; it was hard not to like you. It's why you had friends, you weren't lonely.
She grew up surrounded by siblings, brothers who cared and cherished her; no matter how much she tried, she wasn't lonely. Even when moving to Paris and being taken under the care of a couple that had no children, she had friends, she was known for her social self, she was surrounded by Parisians she knew and loved.
Losing people is hard, she knows that. She's been forced to adapt to this feeling of being alone. She has Tikki, She has all the other fourteen Kwami, they love her as much as she loves them. Its hard to love and feel loved when you haven't done so or felt it in forever.
You start isolating yourself when they all start to leave. It starts with the ones you thought would stick by you. Friends.
The ones you grew up with and earnt your trust overtime. Classmates.
The ones that took you in and treated you as their own. Temporary Guardians.
The people you created and recruited to help you in desperate times of need. Hero teammates.
The only one who started this journey with you and felt your pain. Ying to your Yang and partner in crime.
The only one who believed you when they all left, but she too ended up leaving. BFF.
Then there's no one left but the ones you left all those years ago. Your lonely, not them.
Who can she really blame?
-----
Emotions are biological states associated with the nervous system brought on by neurophysiological changes variously associated with thoughts, feelings, behavioural responses, and a degree of pleasure or displeasure. There is currently no scientific consensus on a definition. Emotions are often intertwined with mood, temperament, personality, disposition, creativity, and motivation.
In my honest opinion, emotions aren't logical, they make no sense. Why we feel them? How we feel them? When several emotions mix and you can't name what you feel. What is an emotion?
You could categorise them in two groups: positive and negative.
You already know which one is which, its self explanatory.
The positive ones are: love, happiness, comfort, warmth, passion, joy, hope, empathy, pride, affection, admiration etc.
The negatives ones are: Guilt, despair, anger, apathy, hostility, resentment, shame, fear, hatred, grief, blame etc.
The people of Paris have been forced to feel one category, they've been stripped of the opportunity of feeling the other; if they do feel the other then there's going to be harsh consequences. Be a victim of Hawkmoth, be my guest, its you that bestows that future upon the Parisians.
Emotions are something everyone feels, everyone experiences, Its apart of life. Emotions come and go, Its apart of life. We have mood swings, Its apart of life. They're confusing and hard to understand, Its apart of life.
A strong feeling deriving from one's circumstances, mood or relationships with others.
Instinctive or intuitive feeling as distinguished from reasoning or knowledge.
Emotions aren't easy, they're hard to interpret.
When your Marinette, you try to have a mix of the two categories. That's hard when your Marinette. The negatives pile in and all you can think is stop. You can't let him win no matter what. It's just somewhat easier for the citizens of Paris when they don't have to worry about whose going to save them when they know Ladybug is coming.
But when you are the Ladybug, You are the one sent to save them, You are the protector and Guardian of Paris, You have no others to help. You are their last hope, You are not letting them down.
Fucking screw emotions.
Betrayal, love, death, loneliness, emotions, She's felt them all.
Double-cross, Warmth, comfort, sympathy, anger, She's felt them all.
Marinette's felt it all.
Marinette's been their and done that.
Can she just get this one thing? Can she be free? Freedom, out of everything, its the one thing she hasn't felt.
Marinette Wayne really just wants some freedom.
*****
Something wasn't right, she was sure of it.
As soon as they arrived at WE, everything seemed normal. None of the interior changed much, nothing moved, it was nice to be somewhere she recognised and made memories. This felt right. Despite the fact that she was walking by herself at the front of her class, they were all too engrossed in the buildings design and Lila's new lies she was brewing, Marinette didn't care enough to listen on what the topic her lies were based on. This was normal.
What didn't feel normal was when the tour guides arrived, it wasn't just any other employee, it was her brothers. Well only two of them, Tim was CEO and working at the moment while Damian was probably at school. That was okay, seeing them a little more was fine if they didn't show any hints of them being related or knowing each other from the past.
What wasn't normal was the fact that the looks their faces wore. They looked scheming, amused, disgusted yet they looked emotionless at the same time. She could decipher that look, she was their sister for Kwami sake! They had been plotting, she couldn't be wrong, She's seen that look way too many times then she should have.
Trying her best to not show any interest, her eyes moved around the room before going back to study their body language and facial expressions; it stayed the same. This wasn't looking good and the tour hadn't even started yet.
Their was a sound of a throat being cleared to get the classes attention, it worked, they were all silent and staring at the two men in front of Marinette.
"Good Morning everyone. My name is Richard and this is Jason, we're going to be your tour Guides for some of your stay here for the next two weeks."
Something was definitely wrong because the tone he spoke in wasn't his most friendly yet he was trying to be welcoming. His smile wasn't the brightest he could muster, this seemed par strained, he could do way better.
"For identification and security purposes, everyone had a lanyard with their name's and picture. It will allow and restrict where you go in this building and easier for where to go in your time when we allow you to wonder around. Do not loose these as it won't be easy to make another and these will be used for the rest of your stay, Understand?"
Jason seemed the exact same, not like he was always as positive as Dick but you get the memo; something wasn't right here and she wasn't looking forward to whatever it was.
He received nods from the whole class, "Alright, I'll call your names out and come up to get 'em."
Another round of nods went and the names were called out, in register order for some reason. Why? Who knew and to be frank, she couldn't be asked to question the order.
For some reason, Marinette's name wasn't called out near the beginning like normal since her name was 'Dupain-Cheng' the 'D' meant she was one of the first to be called out, but instead she was called out after the letter 'L'. Meaning she was called out after Rose and Nino whose names where 'Lavillant and Lahiffe'
Her name was called out, not the whole name just her first like everyone else. She snatched it out of her brothers hand, sending him a glare while ignoring the classes unnecessary snickering, he just sent her an innocent smile taking in the classes laughs. He carried on calling out names while she looked down on her Lanyard, the name 'Marinette Dupain-Cheng' wasn't printed on the laminated card, but the name 'Marinette Wayne' sat there instead.
She looked back at the pair, glaring at them. Just what were they up to? Did they want to begin a storm because they're already brewing one.
They both just sent her another innocent smirk that was hiding their devious plans.
Just what were they up to?!

Shrike
He wants to play the latest and greatest VRMMORPG game, but he can't muster up the cash for the fancy new proprietary hardware and membership license. After months of saving up cash and arduous work, he has built a behemoth of a machine relying almost entirely on seedy old technology and a DIY guide by some dude named "Jimmy Bob." This is the story of his entry into the game. This is also a story of intrigue, exploration, introspection, batshit crazy game design, and unintended but entirely predictable consequences. This is G.C.O. Undergoing a total re-write, mostly because I think things were too rushed rather than any content or direction changes. If you are one of the few who tried Shrike when it was briefly updating, consider giving it another shot. Of no relation to either The Great Crusade or the recent (in 2017 lol) Shrike book for Warhammer by Games Workshop. All similarities in these cases are superficial; please don't sue me.
