《Who am I?! (Completed)》Chapter 10

The family decided to not push the matter further and discuss it later in private when she left for the hotel, even though Marinette wasn't aware of their plans, she was more than relieved that certain subject was no longer the main focus.
Right now, it was midday and the siblings, after around an hour of arguments and even physical contact, came to an agreement to binge several of their favourite movies. At this current moment in time, Marinette was squished between two brothers, she for once actually accepted the snacks that were made for their binging session; she wouldn't admit it aloud but she actually enjoyed eating for once since forever.
She actually enjoyed being squished between her two brothers, she actually watched the millions of movies in peace, she embraced the moments where she didn't have to worry about her class or Paris or Hawkmoth... Or so she thought.
Like said, they were on their millionth movie when her phone went off, it wasn't a ringtone or message notification but a special notification that put her in a bit of a predicament. Despite recognising the notification she received, she took a quick peak at the screen and searched around the room looking and thinking of a quick excuse. Turning to her left, her voice barely under a whisper to not interrupt the movie.
"I'm gonna go to the toilet real quick."
She didn't wait for a reply and squeezed out from her small space she found rather comfortable, the blanket falling to the floor for a second before she threw in onto her seat.
Moving quickly but quietly through the corridors she found her purse with her scarf, hanging in a place she couldn't be asked to inspect. Opening it with the flick of her wrist, she was met with six beady eyes.
"We gotta go."
Her voice was still a whisper, she couldn't let anyone hear their conversation. The Kwami quickly understood and flew out, following the girl to the nearest bathroom where she transformed into Ladybug.
"Kaalki, Tikki, Unify!"
Holding her hands out to her side but away from her hips, her hands intertwined with each other, her red and black outfit changing to have brown aspects.
Calling out the word 'Voyage', A teal coloured disk appeared at the girls right wrist. Throwing said hand forwards, the disk flew from her right wrist to form a portal, the exact size for the girl to walk through with no problems.
Walking through the portal, she appeared in a dark city, buildings burnt and half disappeared. People screaming and running in the opposite direction the heroine was facing. The wind blew harshly against her face, her loose hair strands with brown streaks let itself be taken with the cold breeze. The feeling surrounding the city was an eerie one, it was a familiar one at that. Under her breath so that she could still hear her surroundings.
"Kaalki Dismount."
As she carried on to inspect the broken city in silence, a high pitch scream was sounded from the Eiffel Tower. However this cry wasn't squeaky, it was deep and similar to a growl, the same one of a toddler. August.

The baby was no longer and was four now, as a matter of fact, today was the four year olds birthday. Something must've gone wrong at his party which caused him to become akumitised. Pulling her yo-yo from her hip, she threw it forward and jumped off the roof she stood on, swinging towards the toddler. The heroine's outfit actually changed when she turned 16.
She had black knee high boots that had a bit of a heel, the heel making no difference despite making her slightly taller and her kicks more affective. Where her boots started at her knee, she had her original red and black spot design that looked like a type of shorts that lasted till a few centimetres above her waist.
At her waist, the same black as her boots started and covered her whole torso besides her collar bone where the spotted design came back, going along her arms stopping at her wrists where she wore black gloves.
At the girls back, she had wings, identical to an actual ladybugs wings. She couldn't actually use them to fly but it acted as a sort of sixth sense and showed her emotions; fluttering if she was happy or slightly twitching if she was mad.
Her hair now in a bun, red ribbons tying it and sticking upwards looking like antenna's. Certain strands of her hair were highlighted a deep red so she wasn't fully recognisable as there was one time someone had asked her if she was Marinette Dupain-Cheng because their hair was the exact same and was a rare colour; deep black that shone midnight blue.
Landing a few buildings away from the tower, she ducked behind an air vent, hiding herself as she watched the gigantic toddler do its thing. The toddler didn't change much from its baby self but more aggressive and more stronger the older he got, hence the buildings half gone. At the moment, August was holding what seemed to be his mother in his left palm, the hand itself practically swallowing the mother whole.
'This isn't going to be that bad, I've fought him more than enough times.'
These was the exact words going through the bluenette's head. It was true, Hawkmoth took advantage of the emotions the babies in Paris felt, they knew nothing better and didn't even know what an emotion was, let alone know how to supress the negative emotions. Babies practically had mood swings, they were unpredictable and still are. Bless the parents and families with babies not just in Paris but all around the world.
After a few minutes of silent observation, the bluenette leapt off the roof she hid on and straight towards the toddler and mother who you could barely notice unless you had some sort of enhanced vision.
"Okay Plagg, I want you to distract him for me and fly towards the Seine. Make sure he's in the water and keep him there."
The bluenette rarely used Plagg to transform but did bring him to battles with her, he was used for distractions or used his cataclysm in risky situations. He didn't have the best hold of it and made a humungous mess but that nonetheless was fixed by the miraculous cure in the end.

The black Kwami replied with a quick nod before flying towards the gigantic toddler doing exactly what he was told to do. She watched closely as the mother was thrown away as he followed the flying cat, the black and red heroine wrapping her indestructible yo-yo around the flying mother and pulling her body towards herself.
Landing safely and lightly on the rooftop, the civilian faced the Guardian, hugging her tightly while several thank you's were sent her way.
"I promise to bring August back." Pulling away from the embrace and holding her shoulder reassuringly, she leapt off and began swinging away towards the Seine.
Pulling to the Seine she took in the scene of water splashing around as a black God was being chased by a big purple and green toddle, it was kinda funny till the akuma spotted the colourful hero and belted her way.
On instinct, she began running and used her yo-yo for dodging and to swing in different directions. The akuma wasn't giving up, he was stubborn, that's for sure.
Landing on another rooftop, the baby was walking her way, she used the distance between the two and called for her lucky charm, receiving a bottle of bubble bath. Staring at the object intently, several scenarios rushing around through her mind, she didn't feel her wings twitch, nor did she see the Gigantic figure getting closer and closer by the second, nor did she hear the shouts of Plagg.
Landing roughly on the broken, cement pavement, she lightly touched her abdomen where she was flicked by the finger of the akuma she was currently trying to defeat. It hurt like hell but she had to get up and carry on, she had no choice but to persevere, she wasn't going to give up just because she was flicked away like trash. Rolling over, wincing from the pain and grabbing hold of the bottle of bubbles she ran back towards the Seine which was quickly painted over in red and black.
That's it!!
Her plan to defeat Gigantatium formed in her head as she opened the bottle, dumping the suds into the water and running out the way for the baby. The bubbles grew slowly but caught the toddlers attention as he sat in the water playing in the bubbles, it was as if he was having a bath. Using his moment of distraction to her advantage, she swept forward and landed hardly on the bracelet he wore. As she stood firmly on the bracelet, a dark coloured butterfly flew out escaping but not before it was captured into a red and black yo-yo, being purified and released into the wild as its former self, pure white.
Grabbing the bottle in her hands, she threw it into the air, shouting the two of her favourite words.
"Miraculous Ladybug!"
She stood proudly as the city repaired itself but not forgetting one thing. She knelt down, both hands flat on the ground and repeated a spell she had memorised three years ago from the guardian's book. The spell had the ability to make everyone besides one person forget everything that happened during the battle besides Ladybug saving them from another akuma, they would no longer be hurt or in pain, no longer traumatised from what they saw. The spell would engulf Paris in a bright, white light that would come from Ladybug's hands, blinding everyone but her.
The only two people who remembered everything was Ladybug.
The only other not forgetting is the man that put them in that predicament in the first place, the man didn't deserve the miracle of unseeing everything that just happened he was the one to blame after all.
Sometimes, depending if they fought or not, Abrielle and Mayura would also be the ones who didn't forget.
After reuniting the mother and her baby August, she saw Plagg once again and unified Kaalki with Tikki, nearly forgetting she's meant to just be in the toilet and not in Paris.
Stepping through the portal, she arrived back in the bathroom she left in, her transformations waring off. Back in her normal outfit, her stomach began to ache, the unfortunate aftermath of using that special spell is that she still feels every hit she received despite not physically being injured, the pain remained and felt like the real thing.
If she was to be 100% honest, it felt like a really bad period cramp, the ones where you just want to sit at home, curl up in your blanket and eat. She's had hundreds of these but that doesn't mean she's used to it, it still hurt like hell.
The three Kwami flew back into her purse and began to snack on the food she brought from the hotel. She put it back where she found it and made her way back to the movie room, clutching onto her abdomen lightly.
She opened the door not making a sound and made her way into her seat, but not before catching the attention of her brothers. She pulled the blanket over her legs, sharing it with Tim and getting comfortable in her previous position she sat in before leaving to fight in Paris. She knew all their eyes were on her yet she didn't pay attention till one voice spoke up.
"What took you so long? You were like 25 minutes!"
Someone had paused the movie so there was nothing distracting them.
It seemed like they also noticed the way she held her stomach, she eyed her abdomen and the brother that spoke
"Have you ever heard of a period brother dearest? If not then it's when a gir-"
Before she could finish her very detailed explanation, several pieces of popcorn was thrown her way and hit her rose gold glasses, followed by several, manly shrieks.
"Stop!! Nope!!" they covered their ears to prevent them from hearing her any longer.
"That's what I thought." she huffed before eating the piece of popcorn that hit her face.
The day was fun overall, the akuma she fought wasn't too bad and was the fastest she's had in a while. Spending quality time with her brothers was fun but she wouldn't say the same as her half brother, he was quite cold and didn't talk much; not like she didn't mind, she just let him be. By the end of the day, Marinette was taken back to her hotel by Alfred while the family had a 'little chat'.
"So, about this Agreste kid and the Paris Situation..."
