You let Donnie Lead you through the lair to your new room. You walked up to the door and opened it slowly. You stood slack-jawed. You couldn't believe that Donnie had done this for you.
Donnie opened the door to your room for you. You gasped. There was a beautiful dresser and vanity, a cute bedspread, and a bunch of photos of ou and Donnie on the walls. "Oh Donnie. Its beautiful" you said, turning around in the room.
"Well, my brothers helped." he admitted.rubbing the back of his neck. "Oh i don't care about that Donnie. It's the thought that counts." you smiled, taking a seat on the bed. "I'm gonna unpack, okay?" Donnie nodded and left the room.
It didn't take long for you to finish putting your things away. But once you did, you headed back out to the lounge. Mikey was Playing video games while hanging upside down on the couch. "How the hell can you see what you're doing?" you asked, Mikey just laughed.
You walked into the kitchen, bumping into Leo on the way. "Where's Donnie?" you asked. "He said he needed to get something. Said he'd be right back." he answered. You thanked leo as you walked into the kitchen and began to rummage through the fridge.
You grabbed a soda and went back to the lounge. You sat next to mikey, who has since sat upright on the couch. You watched as Mikey played, but a sound behind you caught your attention. You whipped your head around to see Donnie Jump the turnstile, a big garbage bag in his arms.
"Donnie?" you questioned, standing up to help him."what's with the garbage bag?" Donnie blushed, embarrassed. "Oh, its uh" he hesitated "stuff for the lab! I'm gonna go put it away!" he ran to his lab, you didn't bother to follow him.

He stepped out a few minutes later, you were still sitting on the couch. Donnie leaned down and kissed your cheek. "Sorry about that. So, wanna help me out in the lab?" you looked up at him. "Sure!, i'd love to"
You walked to the lab, hand in hand. Donnie took a seat on his computer chair. You found a clear space on his desk and pulled yourself up. Donnie smiled at you. "I have the cutest girlfriend in New York. no, the world."
You looked at Donnie in shock. "Did... Did you just call me your girlfriend?" you asked. Donnie blushed "was i not supposed to? Im sorry, i can stop" he stuttered, wringing his hands. You blushed too, "no, it's not that i just. I didn't know you wanted to call each other that"
Donnie smiled, nerves leaving him. "I would love if you called me your boyfriend" he said quietly. You nodded.
"You're the best boyfriend ever."

Humanity Extinguished
I had the same nightmare again. The loss of my first life continues to haunt me, but now it aches like an old wound. A more grievous injury to my psyche was the losses yet to come and the inevitable hellscape I would return to again and again. Reincarnation is my curse. The lives themselves weren't all that bad. Losing people you cared about hurt and all, but even that pain was preferable to experiencing the nothingness between lives for months at a time. It was enough to drive anyone mad. Now I have to focus on breaking this horrible cycle. Thankfully I have all the time in the world. Trace is an average man driven by extraordinary circumstances in an indifferent and cruel world. His reincarnations give him a few key advantages but also take a heavy toll on him. He lives in a world where magic is uncommon and underpowered compared to the limitless physical adaptations you can acquire by getting your hands a little bloody. This story is one of hardship and terrible lows, but also monumental achievements and grand heights. The main character has flaws. While some of these flaws will fade with time, others will worsen. Thank you for taking the time to read my synopsis. I plan to release 2-3 chapters a week.
