《The Fun Nerd || rottmnt Donnie x Reader》Chapter 11

You were alone and honestly, after everything that had ensued the past few days, you were just fine with that. You needed time to yourself. Time to reason with your conscience. Time to think things out rationally.
So, you turned on some sad music and sat on your bed, mindlessly staring out your window.
Time to list everything that's happened, everything that's gone awry and everything that was brought to light..
First of all, Donnie is still a bit crazy and obsessive. (Fandom wikis words not mine.) That was expected though. You've seen how he is sometimes.
Second, Donnie's gotten aggressive. Not good. No bueno.
Then, we have the Leo situation. So far, he sees you as a normal person, he doesn't put you up on a pedestal like Donnie is starting to do. Leo asked you out, so now the two of you are a thing.. Maybe?
And finally, both brothers are now chasing after you. That's your fault though.
You groan into your hands and squeeze your eyes shut so tightly that it starts to hurt. You're just so stressed. What are you supposed to do now? Both Leo and Donnie were great guys. Donnie was your big crush, while Leo has a crush on you- and acted successfully on those feelings.. It made you kind of envious honestly.
There was no way you could walk out of this situation without someone's feelings getting hurt..
What now?
_________
As your favorite show played in the background, you scrolled through social media, not really paying attention to anything you were looking at. You were simply dreading the next time Donnie, Leo, and yourself all end up in the same room again. It was bound to happen no matter how much you postpone it. All you could do is walk on eggshells around both brothers.
You suddenly get a text from April. She said she wanted to visit tomorrow after school, and you agreed without hesitation. You needed a friend to talk to.. You had no other close friends right now, because the two other closest friends you had were both in love with you.
After that was said and done, you set your phone aside and decide to take a nap.
_________
Eventually, you wake up. It was very dark and you nearly rolled off the couch as you sat up. You check your phone, 7:45. You'd slept about 4 hours. Not bad.. But what now? What were you supposed to do? You don't know. All day you'd just sulked about.. Maybe you should get a headstart on school for tomorrow. So, you flip open your laptop and start doing the assignments you had. It would be nice to have an easier day at school.

Once you had your english assignment done, you got up and made 'dinner'.. Which was just some cereal.
You felt a little sad as you scarfed down your meal..
Neither Donnie nor Leo had even sent a text since the incident.. Were they angry with you? They had to be..
Hours later, when you were going to bed.. you heard something.
Something from your living room..?
You slip out of your bedroom and peek around the corner. There stood Donnie.
He... looked like he was sneaking around?
Apparently he slipped in.
"Donnie..?"
Donnies head practically snaps towards you.
"Oh, (Y/n)! You're up!"
You yawn and scratch your hip, "Uh, yeah.. What are you doing here?"
Donnie sways left and right a little, "Oh, no- no reason. I just wanted to check up on the place.. or something that doesn't sound suspicious."
You huff and turn to go back to bed, you were a bit too tired for this. However, just as you grab the doorknob, Donnie seemingly materializes beside you-- scaring you out of your wits. This makes you gasp and jump a few inches back. Donnie gives you an awkward little grin.
That little grin makes your heart absolutely melt..
He was the most precious thing at the most unexpected times, what a blessing from the heavens.
You feel your heart thud, the feeling for this darn boy made your legs stop working. So, you just stand there looking at him; completely infatuated.
Donnie didn't seem to think much of your dormant state; instead, he pats the top of your head with a smirk, "You seem tired.. C'mon let's go sit down." He said. His voice was so proud and sweet
You nod slowly, your eyelids were getting heavier by the second.
Donnie opens your bedroom door and guides you in by your arm, he didn't say anything as he helped you into bed, and sat on the edge beside you. He just watched you like a parent does to a young toddler; just waiting for you to drift off before he could go. However, you refused to sleep. You just waited until he would break the silence.
Sure enough, he did.
"So, glow-in-the-dark star stickers? Do you have a fear of the dark?"
You shrug, fighting your exhaustion. "Sometimes. They're also good at helping me fall asleep."
Donnie smiles, "If only there were such a cure for my fear of beach-balls.."
You laugh a little and tug Donnies arm. He looks at you, confused. You frown, "Why are you here, anyways?" You say, feeling a little more awake now. Donnie laughs nervously, "Oh, no reason." He takes your hand in his and gives you a big smile.

Despite his sweet tone and bright expression, you give him a look that made it clear you were not buying it. Donnie tries his best, but realizes it's no use. So, he drops the facade and looks away. He draws in a long breath before giving an explanation- that wasn't actually an explanation at all. "I made a deal with Leo."
You raise your brows, "Deal? What do you mean by that?"
Donnie rests his elbows on his knees and looks towards you, "There will be plenty of time to discuss that, once that knucklehead gets here.." Donnie seemed a bit annoyed at the last part. Suddenly, he puts a finger up, "Oh, hold on-- my brotherly senses are tingling!"
You look around in confusion and almost on cue- A bright portal appears in front of you, and out pops- or flails, Leo.
"I-I'm here, I'm here!"
Leo falls forwards and lands near you, "Hey, (Y/n)!"
You smile in complete confusion, this was getting weird. You were just trying to have a normal night, now your worst fear is coming true. Not only was it a reality, but you were all in your bedroom, and you looked awful.
There's a moment of silence, until you realize Leo and Donnie were staring at you with looks of pure infatuation. Your face starts to burn, and you duck under your bed sheets with a pathetic squeak. "Guys, it's the middle of the night! I have school!" You exclaim, hoping it would deter them-- it was also a valid point. However, neither seemed to really care.
Leo chuckles and carefully peels the sheets back to see your flustered face. "Why is it that you're never in the mood for some chit-chat, hm?"
You grumble and try to pull your covers back over your head, but Leo was easily stronger than you.
Both Leo and Donnie resist laughter as you desperately attempt to wrestle the sheets from Leo's grasp. Your futile attempts of regaining control of your duvet were cut short when Leo lifts you up and quickly wraps you in the sheets like a burrito. You squeal and squirm in your new cozy confinements. At this point, Donnie can't seem to help it, and bursts out with laughter. Leo simply stares at you with half-lidded eyes and a big smile. Your huff and glare at Leo, "What you guys want!?"
Leo sits beside you, "We had to talk to you. It's important!" Leo holds his hands together in a begging gesture,
You groan loudly and go limp, "Why now though!?"
Donnie steps into your view, "Cranky, are we?" He crosses his arms and looks at you with an expression you couldn't quite describe.
You blush for the 800th time and ultimately fall silent. Leo smiles, "C'moooon! Maybe you'll wake up with some ice cream!" Donnie grins and a hatch in his shell opens. From it, he pulls out Leo's jacket and tosses it to him. Donnie glances around for a few seconds, "(Y/n), can you tell me where you put my hoodie?"
You go to point at the bottom drawer on your dresser, but grumble when you remember you're trapped. "It's in the bottom drawer over there.." You say in a defeated tone.
"Ah, thanks."
Donnie stoops over and opens the drawer, immediately pulling his beloved hoodie out. "Oh, I've missed you my delicate child!" He exclaims, slipping it on.
Leo doesn't pay much mind to his dorky brother as he clumsily pulls his jacket on.
Once the two are situated, they look at you expectantly. It takes a while; but eventually, they realize you're about as mobile as a dead clam. Leo gasps a little and apologizes as he 'unwraps' you. When you're free, you sigh in relief at the cool air you were denied in your prison. Feeling salty, you lightly slug Leo in the arm and give both boys the boot, as you begrudgingly get dressed to go out.
When you emerge from your safe place, Donnie coos at you when he sees the nerdy shirt you were wearing. You hiss a small 'shut up,' and fix up your appearance in the bathroom mirror. Leo stood behind you the whole time, making dorky faces in the mirror- that made you smile a little. It was kind of sweet how both were trying to get you out of your sleepy funk.
You splash cold water in your face and sigh, "Okay, okay. Let's go."
Donnie takes the lead out of your apartment, while sweet Leo was sure to turn off the lights, and lock the door for you.
Time for Ice cream... Ice cream with two boys who liked you... Two boys who surely had their own tricks-- and a deal up their sleeves..
This is going to be a long night...

Lost souls, will be rewritten soon. (Old version)
In a world where mages stand above the peasants, the nobles, and the law, it is not surprising that everyone wants to learn magic. Five siblings from a village in the middle of nowhere felt the same. Unfortunately, a dragon brought ruin to their home, eventually cornering the five blood brothers. Luz, the eldest brother, ignored the warnings of his ancestors for the sake of their survival. Using an ancient teleportation spell, he and his siblings were sucked into a portal leading to God-knows-where. In a foreign place far from home, Luz carries the burden of disobeying his ancestors and losing his younger brothers. He sets off to reunite his siblings and slay the dragon that destroyed their village while only being equipped with one useless space spell that drains all his mana after one usage. Author's note: English isn't my first language and this is the first novel I tried writing, which is why some of the earlier chapters aren't that good, even though I grew better over time. I'm still in the phase of editing a lot of my earlier chapters. But unfortunately, I haven't yet found any time for it. Daily updates are to be expected till we reach chapter 100. If your comment motivates me, I might upload up to five chapters.^^
