Donnie POV

'She heard Timothy's voice'

'that can be possible the only other person who could hear thoughts at all was April but she's'

Donnie talked about how she was a hybrid of kraang and human.

'i would have to look at her DNA to make sure'

"Donnie, that's not possible. . . right?", she was freaking out.

"here's the thing, the only other person that's been able to hear voices along with other things was April"

"So what are you trying to tell me right now"

'this isn't going to go well, I should call April'

"Just stay there I'm ganna make a quick call"

Taking out my T-phone I call April.

A:" Hello?"

D:"April, umm this is kind of an emergency"

A:"whats up did something happen?, Is (Y/N) ok?!"

D:" she's fine, for the most part"

A:"what does that mean"

D:"just come here as soon as you can we'll explain when you get here"

A:"A-alright ill go now it should take 20 min"

Your POV

'He called April'

you haven't moved from your spot, still sitting in front of Timothy.

'Should i try to talk to him again'

you hesitantly place your hand on the glass and close your eyes.

'hello, can you hear me?'

'hel..lo'

'Do you know who i am?'

'(y../..n)'

'Do you remember who you are?'

'who..i.. am?'

'yes do you remember'

're..mem..ber, ..pain..burns..pain'

"It hurt you that bad" you say looking at him.

"(y/n)!, Finally"

you turn around startled.

"April?"

'i thought she was coming in 20 min'

"you shouldn't just do that with out thinkin first, you were sitting there for 30 min"

you look at her in shock

"but it only felt like a few seconds?"

you look at her then back at Donnie.

"was it really that long?"

you say looking at both of them and they nod.

"your perspective of time is different especially for you since you don't know what your doing"

Donnie said pointing at a chart of brain waves.

'wow well i guess i shouldn't do that for a while'

"So when did you first notice you could do this"

April asked while Donnie was jotting down notes.

"when I first came here and touched his glass, I remember feeling bad for him and i heard him say something but I thought i was just tired"

you say looking back at the glass.

"Did you have other encounters like this after that or just with Timothy"

Donnie asked looking at you with a serious expression.

"no, none it was just with him"

you reply feeling like your on trial.

they kept asking you question after question, they drew there information to a conclusion after an hour of questions.

"one last thing, I'm going to need a blood sample"

Donnie said going over to his desk and getting a needle.

'oh that thing looks huge'

"i-is that n-necessary"

you were never good with shots or needles you felt fuzzy about the whole thing.

"I'll try to make it as painless as possible ok?"

he said holding your hand, you nod in response.

'its Donnie its fine, its ok just breathe'

"just relax it will be over before you know it"

He puts the needle in and you flinch closing your eyes shut.

'she looks so cute'

you hear Donnie's thoughts.

"um, Donnie?"

"I'm almost done, andddd there. See it was fast"

He smiled at you and went back to his desk, leaving you a little bit flustered.

'I'll just not tell him I accidently intruded in his thoughts'

"Hey April, when did you know you could use powers"

you ask waiting for a reply while Donnie analyses your blood.

"I think it was when i got kidnapped by the kraang" she said thinking a bit more.

"Oh, sorry for asking"

"No your fine, I didn't have full control over it back then but now I do"

she said putting her hand up and her fan flittered open.

"Woooow, so cooool~"

"I noticed this when I came in but is that hair pin new"

"Oh Master Splinter gave it to me, He's going to train me as a Kunoichi just like you"

you said excitedly.

"Really?! That's amazing, I guess this means we will be learning along side eachother"

you both continued your conversation when Donnie Interrupted.

"This is amazing, (y/n)'s Blood is similar to yours April but with some differences"

we go over to the excited donnie.

"What do you mean the same as Aprils" i asked.

"and what are the differences" she added.

"well she has the same Cellular makeup of a Misogynistic blend of human and Kraang DNA but there's something different about hers, its as if she's part human part alien part mutant."

"wait so im part Alien and mutant?!"

"that explains you hearing others thoughts"

"she has telepathy, who knows what else she can do" Donnie keeping his eyes glued to the microscope.

"I'm part alien. . . and mutant, i can hear peoples thoughts".

You sink to the floor and lay there flat for a while trying to wrap your head around things.

'I can hear peoples thoughts, . . .wait dose that mean if I'm not careful they can hear mine'

you look around as if waiting for a reply.

"that's less then likely to happen right" you say out loud.

"Over all I think (y/n) would be categorized as a Tri-brid", Donnie said still studying the blood sample.

'I just wanna cuddle right now'

you let out a small whine and whistle.

"why did you whistle" April questioned.

"I'm calling my support team"

"Squeal~Purrrr~"

April giggles as Kilala runs over to you and begins to lick your face.

"noo not the face! that tickles".

getting up you feel a little better, looking over Donnie's shoulder you see him hard at work.

'well i guess there's no helping it'

you tug on Aprils sleeve and walk out of the lab, you go to the kitchen and take out the ingredient's for spaghetti.

"Hey you cant cook with out your co-chef" Mikey comes in the kitchen ready to cook.

You and Mikey were close you thought of him as a brother, he would cook and you goof around with him. You genuinely enjoy spending time with each and every turtle but Mikey was the one you could be goofy with, like a partner in crime so to speak.

when you finished cooking you went to call everyone.

you found Leo and Raph in the dojo sparing and from the looks of it, it was Raph who was winning this time.

"Raph, Leo dinners ready" you say breaking the red turtles focus and Leo was able to take him down.

'oops my badddd~'

"You only won cuz she came in" he said growling and walking to the kitchen.

"maybe you shouldn't have been so easily distracted" said Leo following him.

Donnies been in the lab for a while now.

"Donnie~"

'no reply per usual'

walking in you see him focused and mermering.

'I wonder if i can read his thoughts from here'

you try to read the purple turtles thoughts but to no avail.

'I just look like a weirdo trying to move things with my mind.....'

you go behind him and blow on the back of his neck.

"heeeiii!~"

'... that was the cutest reaction ever'

trying to hold your laughter in.

"w-w-w-what was that for", he says holding his neck.

"I called you but you didn't hear me, you were deep in thought" you smile evilly.

"i-i stil think that was highly unnecessary" his face a little red from embarrassment.

"commoon don't be mad at me, I made dinner~" you say walking to the lab door.

"I'm not mad, i was just surprised" he followed behind you.

you enjoyed these moments with everyone, laughing, eating and enjoying each others company. Its been a while for you since you felt this at home with anyone, the only other person or creature you felt comfortable with was your mother and Kilala.

'I love all of you so much, your like a family to me know~'

you think to yourself, or so you thought.

"Really do you mean it" Mikey says wanting to jump out his chair.

"isn't that sweet" Raph pokes fun a you.

"wait how did you say that if your mouth didn't move" Leo said.

Donnie and April look at each other then you.

"I w-wait i thought?" you stammer in confusion.

'you can hear my thoughts?'

you think looking at everyone.

"Wooow you have powers to" Mikey looked like he was about to burst.

"no way" Raph and Leo both say.

"Your power seems to be getting stronger now that your a wear of it, interesting".

"Donnie!" you whine.

"oh sorry" he says rubbing the back of his neck.

After you finished eating you, April and Donnie go back to the lab, you try to do some tests.

"are you sure about this"

you ask as Donnie puts the Psychic Neuro-Transmitter on your head.

April does some things as an example and you try to do as she does, speaking to each other in your thoughts, moving objects and so on.

'is this right?'

she smiles.

'yes that's perfect! your doing great'

After what felt like forever you and April finish the tests.

Donnie was watching from time to time but would bring his focus back to his computer.

"whatcha doin" you make your way over to were he is.

"Inputting all the data we got from you today"

'he looks so focused' you think to your self.

"Its getting late ima head home now" April says walking to the lab door.

"Do you need someone to walk you back home", you ask trotting to her.

"I'll ask Leo I'm pretty sure he's in the dojo" she says waving and making her way there.

"alright, see you later April" you wave back.

It was just you and Donnie in the lab, you walk back to the desk were he was working and peek at the screen.

'weight unknown, Hight unknown, medical issues unknown, should I tell him about this stuff?'

"120, I think 5,5 and none that I know of" you say with out giving context.

"thanks, I was going to ask but you filled in the blanks for me" he said Chuckling a bit.

"you don't have to stay here if you don't want to" he replied looking back at the screen.

"I could, but I would rather stay here" you pull out your books and start to read and jotting down notes.

"as diligent as ever I see" he smiles

"I cant let you beat me when it comes to this stuff~" you say playfully

"is that so~" he adds back.

there was a silence that fell but it wasn't uncomfortable, you felt warm and relaxed. When ever you were with Donnie it would always feel like this, before you knew it you fell asleep to the hum of the computer and the soft typing.

You watch her sleeping face, you touch her hair and move it away so you could have a better view of her.

'I really like her but I don't know what I should say or even do'

you look back at the computer and type some notes.

'one things for sure she has a target on her if the Kraang find out she's here'

you think to your self looking back at her.

"I wont let anything happen to you" you say in a whisper kissing her temple.

she moved a little and let out a small sigh.

'Karai wanted her for revenge on us, the dragons wanted to hurt her and now we have to hide her from the Kraang'

you rub your head out of frustration.

'looks like she'll never be able to walk down a street with out being scared of getting attacked'

Finishing up the data you gathered from today you look back at her and let out a sigh.

"(y/n)... hey we should put you in bed if your going to sleep" you say moving her sholder gently.

she was mostly out of it when she wakes up from naps since she rarely ever naps.

"umm. . . Donnie? what time is it" she picks her head up a little looking around.

"its almost midnight, were going to go back out soon" you spin the chair around from the desk.

"could you carry me" she extended her arms.

"w-what" you look at her but notice she's still half asleep.

she slumps back in the chair not looking like shes ganna get up any time soon.

"huh~ alright" you go to pick her up.

She shows a small smile and buries her face in your neck making you stiffen a bit.

"thank you don" she said softly.

you could feel her pressing on your plaster.

'I can smell her hair~ like lavander'

you smile and walk out of the lab.

'oh great ..."

your brothers see you carring her out of the lab.

"Taking sleeping beauty back to her chambers" one of them said and they all snicker.

After putting you to bed they leave for patrol.
