Taeyeon and Jessica already informed their friends and they cleared their schedule for the month for Karina. They wanted to be there for the younger woman. Jessica invited their brother Kasper also since Kasper and Karina are already close in a short span of time last 2 years.
Winter invited Yeji and their other friends which already accepted and packed their things. They are excited to see them again. But also sad about Karina.
Tomorrow will be the day of their departure. Karina is quietly crossing or counting the day she has left.
29 days....
Karina thought that is enough time to spend her time with her loved ones. And since they will spend time at the Kim's province, she's thinking about visiting someone.
"Jagi? Can we visit my dad in jail?" You can notice in her voice that she's getting weaker day by day. The Kim family was shocked to hear that but who are they to judge if a dying girl wants to see her father for the last time.
"Okay, after lunch." Karina smiled and rest her body around Winter's arms. She never left her arms because it feels like she's gaining energy inside it.
We're on our way to the jail to see my Father. My heart beats fast whenever I remember what he did to me but he's still my father and he deserves to know what's happening to me.
"Lets go?" We arrived and I nodded at Winter's question before she extended her arms to help me get out of the car.
I can still manage to walk but I needed help and good thing Winter is here with me to help me with everything I need. I am forever grateful for her and her family. They never treat me like a stranger.
Sometimes I am thinking, what if Winter isn't right here? What if Winter is with someone else? What if I never met her? I might be dead earlier than right now. So many what ifs are entering my mind these days.
"You ready?" We're infront of a door that could be the room for visitors. The fear is still inside me the way we entered the room. Winter's bodyguard is also with us.

I was sitting on a chair waiting for my dad. Winter is leaning at the wall beside me while her bodyguards are behind us. Winter held my hand to atleast wash the fear and nervous away from me. It worked. But it came back when I saw my dad. Tears fell from my eyes the moment I saw him, because what he did, flashbacks in my mind and at the same time, because I missed him so much. He looked like he changed.
"Sweetie? I never thought you'd visit me." His eyes are sparkling, he sat down infront of me at the same time that his tears fell. I looked at Winter and she doesn't seem angry at my father anymore.
"I missed you, dad." He sobs when he heard the word "dad" from my mouth. I wanted to hug him so bad but I don't know if I could.
"I missed you, my daughter. Look, I'm sorry for everything I did. I am guilty for everything. Even if I can't get outside from this jail, I just hope you would forgive me." He really changed. It's been a long time since I've met him and I am glad that I visit him right now.
"I forgive you, dad." He covered his mouth to prevent himself from making a sound because he's crying so loud.
"How are you? You look sick, have you been taking care of yourself lately?" I can see how worried he is by the look of his eyes. I looked at Winter and she nodded, to tell me thag it's time to tell my father the truth. I took a deep breathe before telling him the most heartbreaking news for the parents.
"I'm dying, dad." I broke down in tears as I said that. His face looked like he couldn't believe what I said but see me crying makes him stay quiet in his seat processing the words I just said.
"W-what? That's not a good joke, Jimin-ah." He said trying to keep his posture and face straight.
"Few days ago, I was diagnosed with a Gallbladder cancer. Stage 4. The doctor said I only have 1 month to live, but now, it's just only 28 days." I explained, trying so hard not to break down in tears again by biting my lip.

He can't say anything, he's trying to say anything but he couldn't so he just cried out loud, not covering his mouth anymore, not caring if someone sees him so vulnerable right now.
"N-no, no." That's all he can say. He fell down from his seat as the guards helped him get up but they couldn't.
"Jagi, I wanted to hug my father." I said to my girl beside me who looks like she's about to cry but trying not to.
"We can't do that, Jagi."
"Please, jagi. Do something. It'll be my last hug for him. It'll be my last day of seeing him. Do something please." I cried infront of her. She kneeled down and hugged me before wiping my tears away from my cheeks.
"Okay, I'll try my best. Wait me here." The girl I love so much left the room and I saw her approached one of the guard and talked to him peacefully.
Then, a guard unlocked his handcuffs and guided him in the room where I'm sitting right now. The door opened and it revealed Winter and walk straight to me and helped me get up as I saw my father infront of me.
He ran to me and hugged me gently, he knows how weak I am right now. I cried because of how comforting his hug could be. It makes me forget about how sick I am right now. His hug makes me forget and forgive him about what he did back then.
I finally felt his comforting hugs, again.
I saw that the guards were about to grab my dad again when Winter stopped them, signalling them to let us be. I know it myself that my father won't hurt me right now so I'm thankful to Winter for letting me hug him again.
The time comes when I have to bid my goodbye to my father. Forever. The most painful goodbye I've ever bid to my father.
"I love you dad!" I poured all of the energy I have left to shout that to him. He smiled but his tears are unstoppable.
"I love you, my daughter. Always remember that despite of what happened." That's his last words before I lost the sight of him. My knees gets weak and Winter caught me in her arms.
"Jagi, I don't want to die yet." I spoke with my low voice. I lost my energy for the day. She fixed her position and carried me bridal style despite of her small thin body, she carried me like I'm just a doll.
"Trust me, I don't too." She kissed my forehead as she carried me all the way to the car and helped me sit before she sit beside me, holding my hands. She whispered something to the driver who nodded and starts driving the car.
~~
"Jagi, wakey wakey. We're here." I opened my eyes by the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. I hope I can hear this every morning, forever.
I look outside. It's dark and it's not familiar to me. But all I can see is chairs infront of the sparkling starts from above.
Winter helped me again to exit the car as we both sat on the chair, watching the starts from the sky while the guards are behind us, eating some snacks.
"Back then, I told myself that I will bring here the person I will love forever. I wanted that person to see the beauty and calmness of the sky that is full of stars surrounding the moon." I stare at her while she's telling me something she really mean.
"I'm relieved to finally bring here the most beautiful and wonderful person in the world." She held my hands again and kissed the back of it as she placed it on her cheeks. I can feel some wet tears falling from her eyes.
"I'm happy to be that person, Jagi." I kissed her forehead and didn't realize I was already crying also. This day is full of tears.
We spent the night feeling each other's warmth and presence together before we go home.
