《Teddy Bear | WinRina》Chapter 21

Nope, Katrina wasn't even close to being affronted by her bestie who just took her bear away on a brief date, or so she thought it was.
She actually knew her dearest friend was trying to push her, making her admit that pride does not come before love. But of course, she didn't know about their plan.
Yet, there she was trying her best to mask and evade everything just because she felt pity for her own dignity.
To be short, Katrina regretted it. How much longer can she stay selfish? She loathed at way of thought.
Winter doesn't deserve this, she never does.
"I get it, okay!" Katrina immediately spill those words right after she confronted them, leaving the mobile cactus behind and throwing away her disguise so Winter would detached herself from Ningning.
"Oh! It's Katrina!"
"Mother of cactuses, finally!" Ningning breathe inaudibly, she then signals Winter to go to her, which the latter abide without a doubt.
For a moment, Katrina had forgot what she was about to say as if everything was thrown out of the window when Winter intertwinded their fingers while spawning a bright grin.
"Let's go home..."
Home.
Winter's heart tingles at the word, she turns to Ningning and the latter gave her a nod, reminding her what she was told during their short event together, Winter responded back with a nod and tightens her hold.
"Yeah.. let's go home."
—
To say that Winter's nervous would be an understatement, the bear is shaking like a leaf, at least from the inside.
As from the outside, she's still sporting that huge grin, which is nowhere from being awkward to Katrina.
It would be a lie if she says that she hasn't thought about the so-called lessons she got through Ningning.
They haven't spoken a word since the left the park, or it's just that both of them didn't know what to say. It wasn't awkward though, the atmosphere was rather calming as they walk in an accustomed pace, hand in hand.
A perfect theme for a couple, to be exact.
Winter's heart palpitates as they reached the Yu's. She walks in after Katrina had unlocked the door and waited for her to finish locking back the door.
Make your move, Winwin! Katrina's about to finish locking, ask her out, ask her out come on!- Winter's breathing suddenly becomes uneven, it started becoming audible.
However, before Winter could even utter a word when Katrina turns around, the latter swiftly launches forward and hugs her, wrapping her arms tight around Winter's waist and burying her face in her chest.
"K-Katrina?" Winter was startled, not that she was complaining, she had been too emerged in her own thoughts that she didn't even realize that Katrina was out of it from earlier.

The bear then slides her arms, hugging Katrina back loosely when she didn't respond at all, they stayed like that for a while.
"Katrina, are you okay?" Winter whispers in which Katrina shakes her head in respond, causing a slight vibrate on her chest.
"What's wro-" Katrina suddenly cuts her by latching her lips against Winter's. She's once against caught by surprise when Katrina glides her arms up, circling them around the latter's neck, pulling her closer as she deepened the contact.
Winter was probably still in dazed that Katrina started whining between the kiss when she didn't reciprocate immediately as she wanted. She, in fact, isn't type to initiate this sort of gesture that Winter was caught off guard.
Feeling the urge, Winter then gave in and responded with the same intensity, their make out session turned a bit heated when Katrina pushes them both backward until the bear's back hit the wall.
"Tell me-" Katrina pulls back briefly to ask before leaning again, "Why did you easily gave in when Ningning asked you out?"
"What do you m-mean.." Winter tries to speak out of curiosity but Katina just won't let her.
"Is it really your nature to flirt a lot?"
"Why can't you just focus on one?"
"I own you, don't I?"
"Saying 'I like you' to everyone like it was the most normal thing to do-"
"If you like Ningning that much, why don't you just tell me!"
The questions which sounded more like statements came unremitting like Katrina was very confident about them, but her actions told otherwise. Each of it were spawned in between kisses.
Confused, Winter puts a little force in pulling making her succeed in making a space between them. "Huh? what are you talking about?"
Frustration triumphed, making Katrina release her hold and runs a hand on her hair, "I-" a sigh, "I'm sorry, Winter. I'm just...jealous."
"Wha- jealous?" the bear pulls her gently by the forearms, "Why?"
"Everyone likes you so much, you're like- too perfect- not to mention adorable too." Katrina mumbles the last part, "and there's your kindness, willing to be given to anyone, but something tells me you.... like Ningning."
And just with that, Winter burst out laughing. "Whaat???" she wipes a tear, grievously making Katrina squint her eyes.
"I was right, wasn't I!?" she frowns deeply, a very cute sight for Winter indeed. "That's why you voluntarily went on that date with her!"
Winter is still on her state of a laughing mess when the latter stomps her feet.
"Oh Katrina Yu," she finally slows down, pulling Katrina back into a loose hug and pecks her gently on the forehead. "You're so silly."
"What do-" this time it was Winter who cuts her off, taking her time until Katrina relaxes from being tense.

"Let me guess, Aeri told you it was a date?" Katrina nods, earning another peck on the lips.
"Katrina, it wasn't a date-"
"Heck I didn't even know what a date means-"
"And it was you who taught me to be nice to others-"
"I also don't understand what you meant by 'easily giving in'-"
"You're mistaking, I AM focusing on only one-"
"And, you're correct, you DO own me." With every sentences, Winter pecks her every now and then making sure that the latter won't get the chance to object and ended up with a hug, "So why be jealous?"
Katrina didn't answer, instead she takes her time feeling the warmness that the bear radiates. It always consumes Katrina whenever she did that, fogging her mind and compiling all of her concerns in a box before throwing it into the sea.
"I don't know if I should tell you this but Ningning borrowed me to teach me something-"
"Really?" Katrina creaks as if a weight has been lifted away from her shoulders, but tries hard not to make it too obvious. "Then what was it?"
Winter only smiles ignoring her question, she looks around and thinks briefly, "The atmosphere is nice enough, I don't think that we needed to go on a date though."
"Hold on-"
"Rina, be my girlfriend?"
—
Winter had literally drop the bomb, in a good intention though, it hits Katrina like a hammer.
SHE WAS SHOOKT.
Her judgement towards Ningning had reversed, everyone can now stop praying for the chipmunk's life to be spared by God.
From the very beginning, Winter was known for being an air-headed bear who's tremendously fragile and pure to the point that some people might think the world they're living in was the worst mistake ever happened to her as she had to set foot on it.
Bits by bits, Winter grew accustomed to the environment along the basics, or most likely under Katrina's rules, and it's all thanks to her being gifted, being one of a kind.
There she was, waiting for an answer from the person she just asked to be part of her life, to claim what was supposedly hers that no one can ever come in between.
And of course, Katrina had said yes.
It was a fluttering feeling, too much emotions in the air that it almost sounded like a wedding proposal when it's not.
They shared more kisses after then, only this time, mutual feelings were involved that they were aware of them.
"I'm tired... I've been camouflaging all day..." Katrina breathes on the latter's neck after ending yet another make-out session.
"Shall we rest then?" Winter ask, cupping her slightly red-tinted face, earning a nod.
Without a warning, Winter moves back and carries her bridal style.
"Yah!" Katrina playfully hitting Winter on the shoulder as she dashes upstairs heading to their room. Yes, THEIR room now since Winter won't sleep anywhere else.
Gently, Winter lays her down and mischievously hovers over her, peppering kisses all over Katrina's face as she could only giggle as it tickles her.
Sensing that Katrina was close to out of breath, Winter pulls back and stares at her.
"What?" Katrina wringers, trying to even her breathing in the process.
"I forgot to tell you..." Her face was stern that it triggers the latter. "Yes, I like Ningning."
"......."
"......."
"What the fuck? We've made out countlessly, became a couple, only for you to tell me that-"
"But I love you."
After a few minutes of bickering, if you exclude Katrina who was in the verge of throwing tantrums, you could conclude that that had started, again, another make-out session.
Winter doesn't know what elicit her on doing so, her tongue darts out brushing Katrina's lower lip. Euphoria must have kicked in that she had part her lips, and that marks, for the first time in forever, their tongues met.
Katrina supresses a whimper when Winter expertly caresses their pink muscles together, if she wasn't too distracted at the moment she would have go Sherlock Holmes on where the hell did she learn how to do that.
So instead, she just circles her arms around Winter's neck, filling the space between them if there was any more. Winter on the other hand, had on hand supporting her weight whilst the other, holding the other's neck in place.
Feeling brave enough, Winter detached her lips, in which she earns a grunt from the sudden loss of contact, and moves to her jaw, stopping at her neck.
"Win-" Katrina unconsciously let out a moan when Winter managed to find that one weak pulse point on her neck.
The bear jerks, quickly pulling away when she heard it, "A-Are you okay? I'm sorry!"
"No..." Katrina cups her cheeks, giving her a soft peck on the lips. Thanks to their exchange, she looks all red now. "It's nothing."
"Oh...Are you sure? You sound weird?"
As if Katrina can any get any redder, she pushes Winter so she'd fall to the side, "I-I'm really tired now-"
"Hm..okay." Winter frowns, still she scoots closer and hugs her.
"Winter.."
"Yeah?"
"I love you."
"....."
"....."
"This means we'll do more after you have rested?"
"Winter Kim!"
Unknown to Katrina that Winter was only talking about more kisses.
"I love you more."
