《Teddy Bear | WinRina》Chapter 8

Winter's 'tactic' didn't end just there. Few days have passed and she's still into it.
Apparently, it has become a habit.
Little that the bear know that a kiss means something completely different from what she thinks it is and its effect.
"A kiss is something that can make Katrina not angry at Winwin!" Literally.
Yujin was supposed to correct her, but she didn't. She has come to enjoy seeing her unnie get embarrassed. Not really, a part of her sheer of joy was really just that she was able to do all the fun things she can do with Winter without having to hear her unnie nag. Why? Because Winter is her side kick.
But they don't always get off the hook that easily. Sometimes Katrina can be faster. You can say that she, too, got used to it.
And would do anything to avoid it.
—
Katrina woke up feeling the warm behind her. Adjusting the light surrounding her before turning to the cat-shaped alarm clock on the wall. She can't make up what time is it as it was still kind of dark.
She stopped moving when the snuggling bear on her back her becomes tighter as she leaned a little forward to study the clock.
4:23 a.m.
"Ugh." The cat groaned, turning her attention to Winter who's hands are still on her waist. "Why do you have to move a lot."
She doesn't. Winter only snuggle closer and tighter.
Katrina pushed her away as lightly as possible, not wanting to wake the bear up. It's not that it was uncomfortable, it's just that Winter moves (cuddles) a lot and it's awkward for the cat. But she can't really do anything about it.
There's no more room in the house. Katrina took over her parents' room while Yujin retained the room she used to share with her unnie back in the days when her parents are still in Korea.
Everytime Katrina told Winter to just sleep on the sofa or in the sleeping bag on the floor of her room, she would eventually just 'sleepwalk' next to Katrina and hugged her back. Winter never woke up anywhere but beside her master.
It just comes so natural.
—
"WHYYY????"
"Because I said so."
"BUT WHYYY?????"
The baby bear's cries became louder seeing the cat crossing her arms, not wanting to take her ban off the bear from her daily television time.
"NO" Katrina insisted.
"WHYYYY????" Winter grabbed her by the edge of her shirt.
"That thing is a bad influence!" Her master pointed at the television. "I cannot let you learn any more negative thoughts!"
Winter squinted her eyes while looking up at Katrina. She was about to pull Katrina by the shoulders to 'calm her down', But Katrina already knew too well. The cat just pushed the bear away, causing her to stumble down on her bottom. "AGH!"
"I know what you're doing and it won't work this time."
"Hey vhat's asll ze wuckus avout?" A wild squirtle with a slice of French toast in her mouth.
"Yu Yujin, manners." Her unnie threw her a look. She then swallowed before mumbling a sorry. "What's all the ruckus abou- Why is Winter on the floor?" Yujin raised a brow after turning to a whining bear who's currently facing the floor.

"KATRINA SHAID NOHNO TO WINWIN WATSHING THIBIII-" The bear whined loudly still facing the floor.
"Unnie, you're too much..We'll be heading out to school soon and you're already like this to her.." Yujin walked to Winter and held her up. The bear had tears in her eyes.
"Whatever, she can still sketch right?" her unnie crossed her arms.
"NOOO!"
Yujin tapped her chin for a few seconds before a light bulb appeared in her brain. "Oh! Why don't you follow us to our schools?" She chirped.
"WHAT? NO!!" Katrina shouted in disbelief.
"School?" The bear sniffed.
"Yeah! You can see where me and unnie always go during our school time!"
"Yujin!!" Katrina fumed when her dongsaeng ignored her.
"Oh c'mon unnie! We can't just leave Winter like this alone until after school. Plus, this is just for the sake of her basic knowledge." Yujin quoted in the air. "Besides, if there's an emergency, she'll know where to go!"
"No."
"I want to go!!" Winter is all smiley now.
"No."
"Aww pleasseee unnie let her goooo."
"No."
"PLEASE LET WINWIN GOO-" Winter was on her attempt again and it caught Katrina off guard. Luckily it only landed on her cheek.
"Okay! Okay! Just... stop that!" She pushed Winter away when she felt her pout lingering on her cheeks. "Uhh."
"YAYYY!" The both squealed in unison as they head out of the door hand in hand.
The oldest groaned but a smile then crept on her face seeing the two getting along well (too well maybe).
"Yah, idiot! You forgot your bag!"
—
"Why are we here again?" The youngest whined when her satan friend dragged her near the school gate.
"I just have the feeling that we should wait for the grandma here." Aeri said flatly.
"You're so gonna get slapped with her walking stick if she hears that."
"LOL LOOK WHO'S TALKING- Oh! Katrina-shi!"
Just then Katrina arrived with a bear clinging on her.
"See what I told you." Aeri grinned proudly at Ningning who frantically went running towards Winter.
"WINWIN!!" Ningning jumped and hugged Winter which she gladly return. "NINGGGG!"
"What? Why are you guys here?" Katrina frowned as Aeri ruffled Winter's hair when she greeted the satan rather energetically.
"Why? Can't we wait you here and head to class together?" The satan faked a pout.
"Anyway, what is Winter doi- OH MY GOD WHAT IS WINTER DOING HERE?" She gasped.
"Because Katrina said no more magical box show for Winwin." The bear spoke, still side-hugging Ningning.
"Stop." Katrina threaten. "Yujin said that I should show her the way to our respective school in case there's an emergency-"
"GENIUS." Ningning pumped her fist.
"Oh no, believe me, I was in vain." Katrina retorted.
"Then why did you agree?"
"Um.. I-" The cat fidgeted, earning a questioning look from the two.
"I-I think it's a good idea too! Who knows maybe..Uh She can pick Yujin up from school if I'm running late! Yes, AHAHA-" She exclaimed stuttering and ended it up with an awkward laugh. It was a dumb move, Katrina thought, to laugh at a statement that's not even a tiny bit funny.

Little that they know she wanted to avoid Winter being all kissy when it comes to begging. Especially to the satan. Nah, they're both the same.
"Oh! Class is about to start!" Ningning said after checking the time on her phone.
Katrina panicked a little before turning to Winter who's still :D
"Winter, listen to me." She held her in place. "I want you to go straight back home, ok?" She waited for the bear's answer and she gave her a nod in understanding.
"Ok, good. I have to go to class now. Don't talk to strangers!" She swung her back that was loose in her hand. "I'll see you soon!"
"What are strangers?" Katrina almost pulled her own hair out but she must not ruin her image.
"Strangers are people you don't know!"
Before she was able to run away with her besties, Winter caught her wrist. It was a scene for Ningning and Aeri as Winter pecked her master on the lips.
"SHIT-"
"HOLY CHICKEN-"
Was all they were able to mutter out.
It was a quick peck that Winter was able to skip away from the gaping cat.
"Don't be angry! Goodbye!" Winter waved hyperly and bowed at the end of her sentence. It looks like she retained Katrina's panic act as a tantrum. Yep, she's still dumb. At least, it was just a peck. And there's only a few students around them as the other were already inside, but didn't pay any attention to them.
In the end, Katrina could no longer hide the fact about Winter's act from her satanic friends as they keep bombarding her with questions.
And they're also 5 minutes late to class.
It was all because of Winter.
And they weren't the only one witnessing the situation.
"Girlfriend?..."
—
Winter was skipping making her way home as her master told her to while whistling to a tune that she learned from watching too much Spongebob.
Observing her surrounding as she heard a constant laughter and shouting from children. There was a group of children playing basketball that made her stop skipping on her feet.
A smile crept on her face as she looks at them trying to steal an orange coloured ball (in which Winter thought it's a giant orange) from each other while trying to shoot it in a ring with a dress (it was a net, but this is Winter we're talking about)
The constant noise they made ended up with a grunt as the giant orange ball bounced to her direction. Winter picked it up.
"Hey miss!" The high-pitched shout made Winter looked at the direction of the group. A few kids were waving at her direction. She waved back. "Hello!" Now, where did she put that "Don't talk to strangers!"?
"Can you pass us the ball?!" A little boy shouted at her.
"So it's a ball? Winwin thought it was an orange" Exactly, Winter.
She turned her direction from the ball, to the group of kids, and then the net. Smiling at herself, she shoot the ball. The children were surprised as their eyes followed the ball, from the bear's angle, it was almost impossible for the ball to go into the ring.
But to their dismay, they're down to earth wrong. The ball went perfectly into the ring without bouncing back nor at least rolled around the ring before going in it.
There was a moment of silent when the ball landed and bounced on the ground, all of them turned their eyes to Winter who's pumping her fists in the air.
Amazed, they all ran to her.
"Miss! That was amazinng!!!" Winter was bombarded with compliments when they surrounded her.
"How do you do that???" The boy who first shouted at her asked. Winter eyed them one by one. They all have this sparks in their eyes.
"Personal talent!" Winter grinned from ear to ear.
"Can you teach us?" One of them asked and they all went YES PLEASE!
Winter once again disobeyed her master's orders. Yes, ORDERS.
Which are to not talk to strangers,
and to get home.
—
"See you tomorrow, Saeronnie!" Yujin waved at her friend before walking to the school gate to wait for her unnie to come pick her up.
But instead of waiting, she caught the sight of their baby bear grinning at her in front of their gate.
"Winter!" Yujin chirped as she skipped towards Winter but only to stop half way before continue by walking. "Why are you he- Where did you get the ice cream?" Her attention went to the chocolate swirl in her hand.
Yujin bewildered, scanning around only not to find her unnie around.
"Tiny people bought for me!"
"Tiny... people?" The squirtle raised a brow.
"Tiny people playing a ball! Winwin thought it was a giant orange.. hehehe!" Winter giggled while scratching her nape.
"Ah, they're children, you bear!" Yujin laughed at the bear's answer but it didn't last long.
"WHAT?!"
—
Winter's finished her ice cream as she shared it with Yujin. Confirming that it was not poisoned, they have walked pass the court, but the children were no longer there.
"That's weird. How come I've never notice it was there?" Yujin questioned herself. She just shrugged it off, and assumed that it was probably new. She rarely went the certain way anyway since it was always Katrina who pick her up from school.
Katrina had texted her that she's gonna be late again because she was put on duty again along with Ningning and Aeri. Yujin wondered why. She didn't pry further but reality is the person who is currently skipping next to her was the cause.
Since Winter's with her, she had decided to go pick her unnie up together.
"Yujin?" The little one's thought got cut as Winter suddenly called for her. She turned to the bear who was eyeing her figure.
"Hm?" She hummed but only to receive nothing as Winter only stared at her like something is wrong with her school uniform and her bag. "What is it?"
"Winwin..."
"What?"
"Winwin wants to go to school too."

The Trespasser
Synopsis Following his di—instincts, David finds himself in a weird situation; the next thing he knows, he's in a different world, dying, and manhandled by a big-ass alien. When the Source comes to his aid, granting him the access that—like every other sapient—he's due, David barely manages to get out of the fight with his life intact, but is that enough? Of course it isn't. The very Source giving him powers is also poisoning him to death. Oh, there she is, the petite female alien. Will that be enough to save him? Of course it won't. If he wants to be saved, he has first to save himself. The only way to do so is by getting to know the world around him, but even before that... Why the bloody hell did I have to be called Deviant!? *** Blurb? Blurb. The Trespasser starts slowly, I believe I've written a decent world, and I want you to find out what it's all about, won't just throw it in your face because of *levels*. I do not like stories that don't make sense. David is not a murderhobo, he respects life and answers to the world and the weird situations thrown at him with irony and sarcasm; so you are looking for easy killing streaks, you will not find them here. So, a man finds himself into the wild? It's a different world, and yet he can breathe its air? Finds himself in a lucky-low-level zone? Oh, look at that, people speak English—how likely is that? So, nope, not for me, gentleman. You won't find anything of the likes here. Again, a man finds himself in a new world but only thinks about the system? Yeah, that's not exactly how it works. David will try to find out what it's really all about, what the aliens want, how they work, why is that Fay really helping him? You can kill somebody to get levels, and yet there is not even a form of police? Not gonna happen here. Man becomes suddenly overpowered in a world where people can live for thousands of years by having enough luck to face only lower-level people? Hahaha—nope. Lastly...Spaceships and fantasy with LitRPG... say what!? Well, what's wrong with that? Let's make it happen, shall we? *** You want even more info? Really? Alright... David will start from the very bottom of the food chain, so there will be a settling arc—it's inevitable. David will find true companions, with personalities and backstories, and they will have a life of their own. There will be enemies, and those enemies will have a life of their own, too; there will be no evil just because. The world-building will have true depth; it will not exist just because the protagonist visits it. There will be both Fantasy and (Soft) Sci-fi—yeah, you heard that right. There will be rationality to every action taken, as long as the characters are aware of what is going on. There will be a godly system. You will come to read because of the world-building, but you will stay for the characters. The dead stay dead, and you will weep for them. There will be no action without a reaction. Lastly, there will be laughs. Are you still up for it? Then get in but fasten your seatbelts because it's going to be a wild ride. *** Release Days: Twice a week Release Time: ~09:00 PM UTC Words per chapter: ~3000 This web novel is also available on other platforms.

I am...*sigh* a speck of dust.
Hey, I'm...well, I'm not human anymore so I don't suppose that name matters. Anyway, just call me D. Why? Cause I'm dust. Not like, "Oh, no one notices me, it's like I'm dust in the air", but like..actually just a speck of dust. Nothing exciting going on, no action packed fights or cringey romances. Just...dust. I have a little system menu and everything, like all the 'OP' protagonists, but I mostly use it for the notes feature. Like right now. So, if anyone ever sees this, like, if the System stores it somewhere or whatever, just move along. Nothing special here.
