"Good morning, Aeri and Ningning!" Katrina greeted her besties as she entered their class.

"G'morning!"

"Good morning!" The two greeted back in unison.

"Looks like someone's in a good mood." Aeri snorted when she saw the cat greeted some other students who waved back at her.

Katrina reached her sit and turned to the two who then emerged her space, studying her curiously.

"What?"

"Did something happen?" Ningning asked whispering.

"What do you mean?" Katrina tilted.

"Did yo- OH MY GOD DID YOU KICK WINTER OUT I SWEAR TO GOD KAT-" The satan's eyes were bulging.

"OH MY GO-" There goes Ningning's expressions again.

"YAH!" Katrina motioned them to calm down when some of their classmates eyed them. "Calm down! I didn't!" She whispered a little too loudly.

The two then heaved out sighs of relief, dropping their shoulders as Katrina had her hands under Ningning's table and was about to flip it. She slapped her hands away.

"Then?" The satan rubbed her hand as she raise a brow to the cat.

"Ahh it's nothing. Winter has a been very good bear lately." Katrina smiled.

"Okay, so?" The youngest demanded more.

"Well.. that's it?" Katrina was unsure about what her besties was trying to dig in. She just shrugged.

"I thought the bear was a good kid from the start." Aeri pouted as she recalled their last interactions with each other.

"Of course she is a good kid! But y'know.. She's a bit- No! A lot dense! And too literal about our world." Her besties looked at each other before mouthing an 'O'.

"But she's been very obedient lately! She listens to me well now." Katrina continued with a smile.

"Hmm. Speaking of the bear, what did she do anyway? How is she?" Aeri leaned back on her chair.

"She's fine.. She just asked a lot."

"Duh. I mean what happened after we left? Have you fell in love with her or something?" What the satan said caught Ningning's attention as she wiggled her eyebrows while smirking at Katrina. She blushed.

"Wha- What are you talking about??? Me?? Pshh, please." Katrina tried to deny them, waving her hands vigorously in front of them.

"Righttttt." The two smirked while throwing gaze at each other before burst out laughing.

Before Katrina could protest, The teacher had already step into their class based on all the rushing they heard inside the class, indicating their lesson is about to start.

"Idiots, why are you guys even my friends.." She grunted after turning her chair back to the front. The two giggled. "We love you too!"

Katrina was right. Winter has been behaving very well for the past few days.

She didn't run nor bleed her nose. Cause she knows it'll make her precious master upset.

Winter is getting more and more used to her surroundings now. Well, except for the outside world. Katrina wouldn't allow the bear to step out of the house. Poor little thing. But Winter has come to know that Katrina was just doing so for her safety.

Winter didn't mind.

Plus, she has all the entertainment provided at the house. For example, a sketchbook and a pencil that Yujin bought for her.

Yujin had notice, everytime Winter walked pass the painted canvas on the wall, she would stare on it for a good 5 minutes while tracing it with her fingers, before walking to the empty wall next to it to hug it.

So, without Katrina knowing, Yujin has bought her with the said items.

With the help of "Drawing For Toddlers." On Youtube, Yujin had to at least put a little effort for the bear. She can't just draw random lines across the pages.

When Winter had learn how to draw a bear with a body of a stickman, she got excited. Too thrilled, to the point that she ran to Katrina when she just got home from the library, tripped herself again over nothing on her way and accidently slapped the sketchbook on the cat's face.

Her next entertainment on list is the great television.

Everytime Katrina wanted to head out, she would just turn on to some cartoons and Winter would get off the wall immediately and sit herself right in front of the box. All her attentions would emerge the colorful characters, but of course, not after explaining what cartoon means to the bear.

Katrina also taught her how to read. It was hell at first until her heroine dongsaeng came and smacked her on the back of her neck. "JUST SHOW HER SOME VIDS ABOUT ABCs, FOR GOD'S SAKE."

"Oh."

And that's when "Reading for Dummies." came to her mind.

Ever since then, Winter would read everything that she sees in the form of words or sentences in the house, not caring what they mean because- "I'll buy you more chocolate milk if you're determined!"

She'll sometimes read the back packets of their instant ramyeons too.

But right now, due to out of sketch pages, Winter's just switching channels on the television while drinking her choco milk.

"Aaaaahhhh what is this empty feeling?" She whined.

She gave up and stopped switching the channels as there are no more cartoons airing. She crawled to the tv and held its side. "Bring back Spongebob!!!" She whined louder.

The bear didn't even realized where she stopped switching when it landed on a French drama. She can hear people yelling. She slowly crawled back to her last position while gazing on the screen.

"What is this?" She stares as a man in the drama yelled at a woman, but she can't understand a thing, because it's in French.

The woman yelled back something to the man with a finger pointed out at him that's shuts the man immediately. Then, the woman turned around, crossing her arm with an upset look on her face.

Winter tilted her head as the scene reminded her of something. "Oh!" She snapped her fingers.

"This is like when Katrina got angry with Winwin and Yujin." She said gaping at the scene.

"That's Katrina.." She pointed at the woman, "And that's Winwin and Yujin!" She dragged her finger across the glass, exclaiming to her imaginary friend.

"Did you bleed your nose too?.." Winter's voice trailed off with a frown when she sees the man's looks of regret.

The man placed his hand on the woman's shoulder, trying to turn her around but the woman only shrugged his hand off, rather roughly. He then tried to turn her again, but forcefully this time and finally succeeded.

Winter had her eyes widen when the man crashed his lips on the woman's and the woman stopped resisting immediately. Winter just stared at the liplocking session by the two before she dropped her gaze on her choco milk.

"Oh?" She scratched her nape.

"So all Winwin has to do to stop making Katrina angry is to kiss her?"

She turned the device off.

"It is that easy?" She stood up, suddenly spawning an aura around her.

"THEN I MUST TRY!!!"

It's recess time and Ningning once again choked on her drink as Katrina was telling her and Aeri about what happened over the weekend.

"WHAT-" Aeri had her hands under the usual table they always settled down on in the canteen, ready to flip it anytime soon. The cat just slapped her hands off.

"SHE CHASED A CHOCO-" Ningning couldn't finish her question as she coughed hard. "I swear to God, I'm gonna cough out my kidney if Winter keeps up." She hits her chest.

"Please don't tell me she crashed." The satan palmed her face.

"Uhm.." Katrina bit her lips.

"What?" Aeri raised a brow before widening her eyes when she dissolved everything.

The satan slammed her knees under the table again. It has become a habit, Katrina thought and just rolled her eyes.

"But she crashed on bundle of towels! No worries!" Feeling some attentions coming from other students around them, Katrina quickly exclaimed.

"Is she okay? She didn't bleed her nose, right?" Ningning asked after calming down, worriedly.

"No.." Katrina sighed

"Okay good.. Did you scold her after what she did? That kind of scene she caused.." The satan snorted.

"I did, but I didn't overdo it. I just scold them after we got out of the place and muted afterwards." She frowned a bit.

"Poor baby bear.. You shouldn't do that. You know she's innocent in this kind of situation." The chipmunk stated, which is true.

"I know..."

"Oh what's with the frown, Yu? You look uglier." Just then, a pair of arms smacked their table causing the trio to shoot up. Their eyes landed on the last two people they wanted to see at school since forever.

"Got rejected by someone again?" The owner of the arms smirked as she rest her chin on her palms before pouting sympathetically to Katrina.

"No bitch, or was it you? Is that why you're talking to us?" Ningning threw her glare, standing up but only to be stopped by Katrina.

"Shut it. I'm not talking to you. Get lost." Soyeon scoffed, holding her palm out in front of Ningning's face.

"What do you want, Soyeon?" Katrina groaned as she lazily drink her banana milk.

"Oh nothing, just came by to check how your dwarf friend here is doing."

"SAY THAT ONE MORE TIME AND THE NEXT THING YOU'LL REMEMBER IS BEING DRAGGED DOWN BY 712178 SATANS UNDER HADES' MATTRESS." Aeri stood up. Even the satan herself is caring enough to protect those who are loyal to her. Her glare made her two friends shivered.

"Pftt. Whatever. Do you even realize you're one yourself?" Soyeon retorted.

"Oh you have no idea." The satan smiled innocently.

"Stop it, Aeri. Let's just go." Katrina stood up and pulled Aeri away.

Ningning stood up to but not before she eyed Soyeon who's gazing at her as if she's expecting something.

"Can you like...not bother Katrina?" Ningning simply asked but there were no signs of threat in her expression. Soyeon just scoffed and walked away, followed by Minnie who's just being quiet all the time.

Ningning sighed as she ran to catch up with her besties.

"I swear in the name of Gods of all chicken dishes, I want to choke her so hard." Aeri tempted as she was choking an imaginary neck in front of her while gritting her teeth.

Katrina just laughed at her bestie's antic and messed her hair. Just then, they felt a bump on their back and an arm circling their neck. It was Ningning.

"HELLO ASSES WHAT DID I MISS?" She grinned at her besties.

"Y'know Ning, that ex-girlfriend of yours is so fucking annoying, can't you just slap her on the face with your almighty arm?" Aeri turned her head to the said girl.

"Ah but I can't! Right? Kat?" She eyed Katrina who only nodded proudly.

"You guys are lame."

Jeon Soyeon, the Beauty Queen of their year, (or the Queen of all expired banana milk, as Aeri would like to call her) who possess the body of a Goddess and a smile that can melt every soul, as they would say. At least, that's how all of the guys who fell for her (fake) angelic gaze and (annoying) chuckles, there are even girls.

You must be wondering, yes, Ningning used to date Soyeon, and Ningning wasn't as she used to be now. Back in the time when she was dating Soyeon, her grades went downhill as Soyeon always asked her out. Being the nice half she is, she obeyed everything.

Ningning's friends also left her because Soyeon didn't like to see her hanging out with other girls. She missed a lot of her lessons and even break some rules when Soyeon asked her to. She was blinded, yes.

But that was until Soyeon found this random girl named Minnie who no one knows where and why she suddenly showed up. Ningning was isolated. When she asked Soyeon out, Soyeon would decline saying that she's busy but she was caught red-handed when Ningning saw her walking hand in hand with the new girl.

She confronted the both of them once and Soyeon kept denying about her relationship with Minnie.

"She's not my new girlfriend, so would you just stop!?" Ningning still remembered those words clearly, how could she forget? Soyeon shouted at her while Minnie's hand was in hers? That's when she realized that Soyeon was taking advantage of her denseness. She was kept as a toy.

She cried. She wasn't able to smile. Until Katrina and Aeri realized about her condition and decided to approach her.

"Are you okay?" Katrina spoke to her for the first time.

"Yeah man, you look dead- OUCH!" Katrina smacked Aeri head before she could finish. It somehow made Ningning smiled. The first smile she was able to lift after a month suffering.

Ningning was thankful. No one has ever dared to approach her after she dated Soyeon. She grew fond of the two and had told her stories to her two 'new friends'. She was expecting them both to run after she lifted her head. But they didn't. Aeri only playfully choke slammed her while Katrina smiled and patted her on the head, telling her everything will be alright.

Ningning was very thankful.

From that moment on, she has become a part of them, or they had replaced the biggest missing piece in her life. Her studies are stable too now. Katrina also taught her to not break any more rules.

"What is that?" Katrina asked as she was walking home with Yujin when she had a bag in her hand.

"What do you mean 'What is that?' of course it's a paper bag!" Yujin turned to her unnie.

"Well, yeah, DUH, but what's in it?"

"You really sound like Winter now, you know?" Yujin stated before showing opening the bag slightly to show her unnie.

"Crayons? What the heck Yu Yujin? I thought you dislike art." Her unnie grimaced at her.

"It's for Winter!" The squirtle frowned, "She must be bored with just black medium, so I thought."

"Mmmkay." Katrina laughed and ruffled her dongsaeng's head before knocking on the door of their home.

After a few seconds, the door opened and their sight was welcomed by a frowning bear.

"Hello, baby bear!" Yujin chirped as she entered their house, making her way to the kitchen.

"What's wrong?" Katrina asked as she placed a hand on Winter's shoulder.

"Uh..Winwin..."

"What?" She frowned as she saw Winter fidgeting her fingers. Something bad must've happened.

"Winwin.. Went outside a bit when Katrina and Yujin are at school." She bit her lips.

"WHAT??!" The cat widen her eyes "Winter! I told you not to come out! You might hurt yourself!" Katrina said out loud, shaking her slightly.

"Katrina, are you angry?" Winter studied her carefully.

"YES I'M ANGRY! WHY DIDN'T YOU LIST-"

Katrina's stomping stopped as Winter pulled her in a kiss. They stayed like that for a few moments as Winter pulled her closer. Katrina didn't fought back, nor move a muscle (she doesn't even know why she didn't) which made the bear smile.

"By the way, WinterI bought yo-" Yujin popped her head and the paper bag out from the kitchen but only to drop it when she witnessed what was going on. "WHAT THE HECK-"

Winter pulled back first, seriousness was plastered all over her face when she eyed Katrina.

Katrina only stared her back eyes widen, still occupied by their last scene. She couldn't speak.

Winter's expression turned into a broad grin of delight. "I'm just kidding." She whispered. She let go of Katrina's figure and burst away to the living room.

"IT WORKED!!!"
