salamat , sa siyam na taong iyong binigay
asahan mo , ito'y aking babaunin habang buhay
salamat , sa lahat ng ipinaranas na sakit at lumbay
ako'y natauhan , hindi ka nararapat sa aking buhay
pasensiya na kung ako'y bibitaw na
aking hiling lang naman ay sumaya ka
sinubukan ko namang ipaglaban ka
ngunit parang mas masaya ka sa kanya
salamat sa siyam na taon ng pagmamahal
sa siyam na taon na ika'y aking naging kaibigan
salamat dahil kahit saglit , ako'y iyong pinagbigyan
na ipakita at ipadama sa'yo ang tunay na pagmamahal
mahal , ito na nga , pakakawalan na kita
sana sa pag-alis , mahanap ang tunay na saya
sa panahon na lilipas , ako ri'y makahahanap ng iba
