《Jealous (Yugyeom X Reader)》Chapter 3~ Super Squish

Once you closed the gate behind you, Yugyeom closed the front door gently. He turned his head towards Jackson "What did you say to her?" He knew something was off and he knew Jackson had something to do with it. "Me? I didn't do anything" Jackson responded continuing to pretend he was oblivious. "Why did Jiyoo leave all of the sudden? What did you say to her while Bam and I were upstairs?" Yugyeom was starting to get mad. He wanted to spend more time with you and talk longer but you were now gone.
Jackson looked over at Bambam who was standing behind Yugyeom. "Should I tell him?" Jackson asked Bambam. Yugyeom squinted his eyes in suspicion. Yugyeom could tell something was up. "Up to you" Bambam replied. "Tell me what?" Yugyeom frowned. "Maybe I shouldn't, he'll get mad right?" Jackson continued talking to Bambam as if Yugyeom wasn't right in front of him. He just wanted to tease Yugyeom as much as possible, but Yugyeom wasn't having it. He wanted to spend more time with you and Jackson was somehow able to mess it up.
Jackson and Bambam's provoking was definitely working, Yugyeom was super mad and wanted to know what was going on. "If you don't tell me what's going on I'm going to throw something at you" Yugyeom was getting more annoyed by the minute.
Jackson's face lit up in excitement. His smile stretched across his face. "You're so dumb I love it" Jackson laughed. "Jiyoo likes you but you're too stupid to notice" Jackson put his hands on his hips as if he was really that much smarter than Yugyeom. "What do you mean?" Yugyeom was still frowning. He couldn't tell if they were lying and trying to get him to admit his true feelings for you or not.
"Jiyoo left because she was getting nervous being around you" Bambam added. Yugyeom made a tck sound "I don't believe you, you both have been lying to me for the past week now". Yugyeom wanted to believe what they were saying but he knew his hyungs well enough not to trust what they say. "The last few hours all you have been doing is flirting with her" Yugyeom was starting to get angry again, just thinking how close Jackson had gotten with you. "That's cause she's not interested in Jackson if she was she totally would have gotten embarrassed" Bambam was quick on his toes. He could come up with a response to anything and spin it in his favor. Yugyeom's frown was fading, the words were sinking in and his brain was trying to wrap around their meaning.
Yugyeom sighed "Why are you guys so mean to me!" Yugyeom whined. "You're such a baby. Just tell her how you feel in class" Jackson tried to sound like a hyung again. He knew his and Bambam's plan had worked. "Yea, Jiyoo won't say no and you can go on a super cute date together" Bambam was more than happy to see Yugyeom flustered. Yugyeom's face was turning red, even without saying it, he basically admitted that he liked you. There were no take backs in this household.

Yugyeom wasn't sure what to do at this point. He wasn't sure he could wait until class on Tuesday to talk to you again. Yugyeom knew himself well enough to know if he waited until class then the moment he saw you he would get scared and not want to talk to you and make things worse off for him. He knew he needed to gather all the courage he could find. Yugyeom suddenly turned around and opened up the front door "I'll be back in a bit I'm going to catch up with Jiyoo" Before Jackson and Bambam could respond Yugyeom had bolted out the door and was chasing after you. "Goodluck!" Jackson shouted at Yugyeom before he disappeared behind the gate.
"Yes!" Bambam and Jackson shouted, high-fiving with the success of their plan to get you and Yugyeom together.
Yugyeom knew you couldn't have gotten too far away from the house. It had only been a few minutes since you had left and the neighborhood he lived in was pretty big. After a minute of running and searching for you, Yugyeom finally spotted you just about to head onto the main street, out of the neighborhood. You were looking down and had your earbuds in and were listening to music to calm yourself down. You were overwhelmed with emotions and just wanted to focus on getting home.
"Jiyoo!" Yugyeom called trying to get your attention as he ran to catch up with you. "Jiyoo!" He repeated two more times before you actually heard him calling for you. When you turned around your eyes lit up. Not only was Yugyeom heading straight for you but he was running and shouting, drawing attention to himself.
You stopped walking and waited for Yugyeom to catch up with you. When he reached you he bent over and was panting. He was covered in a thin layer of sweat. "Did I forget something at your house" You looked at your bag checking to see if something was missing. "No, no I just wanted to walk with you back to your dorm. I hope that's ok?" Yugyeom looked up at you and smiled. You could feel your cheeks turning pink. "You don't have to if you don't want to" You didn't want to force Yugyeom to walk all the way back to the school just for you. "I want to" Yugyeom's nose scrunched up when he said this.
After catching his breath you and Yugyeom started walking back to your apartment. At first, you both were kinda quiet. You both had too many thoughts running through your head to figure out what to say to one another. Five minutes had passed before either of you had said something.
"The sky looks pretty with the sun setting" You commented as the sun began descending in front of you. The sky was turning a gold orange, by the time you would get to your apartment it would probably be dark blue. Yugyeom hadn't even noticed the sky, all of his attention was focused on you and what he was going to say to you. He had not thought it through at all and was quietly panicking.

"Ah it does look really nice" Yugyeom responded. "Since the sky is clear maybe we'll be able to see some stars once the sun goes down. Yugyeom didn't really care about that though, he was trying to best to fill the silence without sounding awkward or nervous. When he looked over at you he couldn't help but blush. You were looking up at the sky. Because you lived in Seoul you almost never saw the stars, it was very rare that would ever happen. Yugyeom's words got you excited despite that. "It would be wonderful to see the stars" You looked over at Yugyeom and smiled.
The rest of the way back to your apartment you and Yugyeom talked about various subjects comfortably. You were more relaxed now being with Yugyeom alone. You were grateful that he walked all the way with you to your apartment. By the time you had gotten into the elevator and up to where your room was the sun had completely disappeared.
"We should study again next weekend" You commented while you dug through your back to find your keys. "Yea I would really like that" Yugyeom was starting to get nervous again. It was now or never to tell you how he feels and panic was setting in. Once you found your keys you looked over at Yugyeom confused. He seemed more sweaty than when he had been running. "Are you ok Yugyeom?" You asked worried he might not be feeling well. "I-uhh. I-I just uhh..." Yugyeom started to stutter. He was having trouble forming complete thoughts in his head.
You took a step closer and put your hand on Yugyeom's forehead to check and see if he was burning up. He didn't feel super hot but you started to get nervous once you realized you moved way to close to Yugyeom. Yugyeom grabbed your wrist lightly and moved your hand off of his forehead. His ears were red and he could feel his chest beating like a drum. "There's something I wanted to tell you." Yugyeom paused for a moment. You looked up, your eyes widened not sure what Yugyeom was going to say to you. You were worried he might say that he didn't want to study with you or something worse.
"I-I like you Jiyoo" Yugyeom had tried to say but he said it so quietly that couldn't hear him. You scrunched your eyebrows confused. You paused trying your hardest to figure out what he had said but couldn't. "What? I couldn't hear that". Yugyeom felt like crying, his entire face was red now. He didn't want to have to repeat those words. He didn't want to be rejected like this.
Yugyeom spoke clearer and louder this time "I really like you Jiyoo!" He let go of your wrist and closed his eyes in fear and embarrassment. You could feel your cheek heating up. You felt so happy you wanted to jump up in down and run around in circles like a puppy. Instead, you giggled, to you Yugyeom looked like an adorably cute tomato. You wanted to respond with more than just words.
When Yugyeom heard you giggle, he thought he was laughing at you. But when he opened his eyes to see your facial expression, he saw instead your face moving incredibly close to his. You put one of your hands on the side of his jaw tilting his face slightly, before pressing your lips against his cheek. It felt as if the world had come to a stop and time had come to a halt. Your lips felt hot against Yugyeom's skin. When you pulled away you felt so embarrassed but you knew any words you say would have failed you.
Yugyeom's mind had gone blank. That was not the reaction he had expected, but it was definitely the one he wanted. He looked at you with a confused expression. You had basically broken him. His mind was gone and his body was now moving on instinct. All he wanted to do was kiss you back. He leaned in cupping your cheek with his hands Yugyeom returned your kiss with a kiss of his own. He sunk his lips onto yours, moving slowly and softly. You closed your eyes and put one of your hands behind Yugyeom's neck. This was definitely not where you thought this day was going. His lips moved gently, but you could feel his tongue right on your lips.
Most people think at first glance that Yugyeom would be a super composed, cool, mysterious type, but in reality, he is a super shy squish that needs a push or two.
The kiss lasted for well over a few moments. And by the time Yugyeom pulled away you had no idea what to say or do next. "D-do you wanna go to the movies or somethingg..." Yugyeom was trying to act calm but on the inside he thought, he was going to explode. "Like a date?" Even though you just kissed you still wanted to ask and be sure. Yugyeom nodded and smiled "Exactly like a date".
"Well I'll text you tomorrow and we can figure out when we're both free" You realized you and Yugyeom had been standing outside your dorm for quite some time now. "Ah ok" Yugyeom was slightly sad this moment was over but moved away from you before getting embarrassed again. "Have a good night Jiyoo" Yugyeom said while you opened the door to your apartment. "Get home safe" You smiled and waved to Yugyeom before closing your door. Once the door closed completely and Yugyeom could no longer see you, you started to jump up and down and silently cheer for yourself. You were so happy. You wanted to scream and shout but you kept quiet enough so Yugyeom wouldn't hear you.
"WOOHOO!" On the other hand, suddenly you heard from the other side of the door. You could hear Yugyeom was just as happy with today's events as you were. You smiled, Yugyeom really was just a super adorable squish.

Raine just wanted some money. All he needed was enough to get his business rolling. But when he agreed to take a much-needed job from his college friend Levin, he hadn’t expected to get stabbed, shot, and chased at midnight in L.A. with a drunk girl in the back seat of his car. And he hadn’t planned on joining a strange organization based in another world, thanks to which he flies off to a private island to suffer weeks of grueling training and endure intensive foreign language study the likes of which he hasn’t experienced since high school. His friends sold the other world to him as a land of hope and second chances, a simple but beautiful place where he could put his many failings behind him and get a new start. Ignorant, trusting, and naive, he believed them. But they lied. Please note that the story has a slow start (practically all of my readers say this).
8 150Stairway to Heaven
Humans are complicated, awfully fragile beings, far too weak to survive amid the other extraterrestrials that lie dormant across the galaxies. Instead of physical altercations, they would rather engage in verbal abuse, breaking an individual's psyche as a hobby. They excel at deception and manipulation, far too interested in bringing their brothers and sisters down and reaching for the top of their self-made hierarchies. Beyond their questionable nature and moral compasses, they long to find meaning in their lives and put names to the feelings that drive each passing moment. They are insatiable—far too greedy for more knowledge and a supposed understanding of their lives. It's pitiable, really, the way they struggle to find themselves while ravaging their kind through petty wars and conflicts built off of misunderstanding. Humans are complicated, awfully fragile beings. They created words and languages to fill the holes that lived inside their souls, desperate for ways to find meaning in their incredibly short lifespans. They'll waste their entire lives trying to find their so-called passions and reasons for living, acting as if they truly rule the way their lives go, supposed "controllers of their own destiny." Yet, they cannot evade the inevitable visit from death, who stands next to them, ticking the seconds down until their demise.
