"Y/N!" Jaebum called out from the doorway.
You got up from the couch and walked towards the main door of your apartment while texting your best friend.
"Look what I found," Jaebum said excitedly when he saw you in his sight.
You bid your best friend goodbye, put your phone away and looked up at Jaebum, only to see him holding a cat.
"What is that?" You asked him wearily.
Jaebum put the house keys on the key hanger on the wall and said, "I found it on the side of the road. The poor thing looked so cold and scared so I brought it with me," and the cat meowed in response.
You stared at him, dumbfounded, before saying, "No"
Jaebum furrowed his eyebrows together and asked, "What do you mean?"
"Jaebum we already have five cats, we are not getting another one," You stated
"But Jagiya, it has no home," Jaebum said.
Seeing the doubt on your face, Jaebum walked closer to you holding the cat up to your face level.
"Look at it Jagi. It's so cold and lonley. We can't leave it stranded," He said, trying to emotionally blackmail you.
You looked at the cat which Jaebum was holding in front of you. The cat looked at you and let out a tiny meow, making you give in.
"Fine" You said taking the cat from Jaebum while he grinned in his victory.
"Where are the groceries?" You asked him, seeing his empty hands,
Jaebum's eyes widened in realization and said," Oh, the groceries-," his voice trailing off once he saw your expression.
"You forgot the groceries didn't you," You stated.
Jaebum looked at you with a guilty expression and said, "I'm so sorry. It slipped out of my mind,"

You were about gave a quick reply and instead took a deep breath, trying to control your annoyance. "So, you bought back home a cat but forgot the groceries, which was what you were supposed to come back home with," You said.
Jaebum scratched his head sheepishly and said, "It's okay. I'll go get it tomorrow,"
"Jaebum, we literally don't have any food. What are we going to have for dinner?" You told him.
"We can order takeout," Jaebum offered.
You shook your head and said, "What about breakfast tomorrow morning?"
Jaebum thought for a second, with his face lightning up when he said, "We can skip breakfast tomorrow,"
You stared at him, dumbfounded, and took your right hand and hit him on his arm making him yelp. "We are not skipping breakfast!" You told him sternly.
Meanwhile Jaebum backed two steps away from you, rubbing his arm and saying, "Geez, fine okay. I'll go get them now."
You smiled at your victory and happily said, "Thank you"
Jaebum took the house keys from the wall and exited from your shared apartment to go the supermarket, muttering something to himself. Meanwhile you looked down at the cat in your arms.
You held the cat in the air, just in front of your face and talked to it, "Well, aren't you a bit dirty. Should we gave you a bath while he's gone"
Humming to yourself, you started to make your way towards the bathroom. Setting the cat on top of the bathroom counter, you turned on the tap of your bathtub, holding your hand under the water for a while to make sure the temperature was suitable enough.
Once you were satisfied with the warmth of the water, you rolled your legging to your knees and tied your hair up. You took the cat and placed it in the tub, making sure to turn the tap off.

When the cat was wet enough, you reached for the soap you used to bathe your other cats in and start washing it. The cat, who seemed to enjoying the warm water, laid on its back on the bathtub floor and meowed.
You smiled at the cuteness of the cat and gently rubbed its tummy. You were so occupied in washing the cat that you did not notice the front door open and Jaebum walk inside the apartment.
"Y/N!" Jaebum called out.
You looked towards the bathroom door and yelled, "I'm in the bathroom,"
You returned your attention back to the cat and you hear Jaebum walk towards the bathroom.
"You were fast," You said when you heard Jaebum walk into the bathroom.
Jaebum looked at you washing the cat and walked over towards you, crouching down as well.
"Not everyone walks as slow as you," Jaebum said, helping you in washing the cat.
"I don't walk that slow," You said, defending yourself.
Jaebum playfully rolled his eyes and teased you, "Please. You probably hold the world record for the slowest walker ever."
You gasp, offended and speechless. You quickly splash some water towards Jaebum and he tried to duck, protecting his face. However the front of his shirt got entirely well.
"Y/N!" Jaebum exclaimed in a raised voice and for a moment you thought he was mad, but Jaebum made your doubts go away when he splashed you with water too.
"What! No!" You said confused, not expecting to get splashed.
However Jaebum threw out your pleads and continued to splash you, starting a water fight. As you tried to duck away you continued to try to splash him with water as well. But Jaebum was stronger and bigger and soon enough he grabbed your wrists, holding them in one arm and using the other to get you wet.
"No! No. I'm sorry. I'm sorry," You said, laughing.
Jaebum stopped and tugged you, still holding your wrists together.
"You're sorry?" He asked you and you nodded in response.
"Well I'm not sorry," Jaebum said mischievously and resumed splashing you.
You screamed, trying to get his strong grip off of you. When Jaebum was satisfied, he let go of you and sat back against the wall. You both stared at each other, panting. You were pretty much completely wet and felt worn out from your water fight.
A laugh left your lips and soon enough you were laughing with Jaebum smiling at you.
A meow came from the bathtub and you turned around to see the cat sitting on the edge of the tub, looking at the both of you.
You jerk your head towards the cat and say, "You get to dry her,"
Jaebum nodded in reply and you got up from the floor, stretching you back. You stood there while Jaebum still sat on the floor and all of sudden you splashed Jaebum in the face, immediately running away from the bathroom.
"Ya-!" You hear Jaebum yell from the bathroom and you laugh saying, "I win!"
