《Troublemaker ✔️ || Got7 Yugyeom FF [1]》02 | House Arrest

𖤐
It has been a few days since you moved to Seoul with your mother and father, and you've been trying your best to get used to your new surroundings.
You just finally finished unpacking all your boxes for your new room as you were now sat on the edge of the bed, swinging the silver locket Jinyoung gave you back and forth.
Jinyoung should've called this a break-up necklace instead of a promise necklace. It has already been a week and a half since you've been gone and he hasn't called or texted once.
Suddenly, your phone began to ring, pulling you out of your thoughts.
You immediately pressed the answer button when you saw that the caller ID was your brother's.
"Hello?"
"Y/n~ I heard you moved to Seoul."
"Yes Youngjae, did you just call to rub it in my face?" You ask, already feeling annoyed. You could just sense the smirk on his face.
"No, actually I think it'll be good for you. Jinyoung hasn't exactly been the best influence on you lately." Youngjae says, causing you to roll your eyes.
Youngjae, for some strange reason, has never liked Jinyoung. You're unsure as to why, but when your parents told Youngjae who you were dating, he immediately had a problem with Jinyoung.
The theory that you have going on in your head is that, Jinyoung and Youngjae knew each other way before you met Jinyoung. But you still don't have any evidence to back up that theory, yet.
"Yeah, mom said the same thing. Luckily for you, Jinyoung and I aren't together anymore, so you win." You take in a deep breath, finally admitting it.
"I would say I'm sorry, but we all know you're better off without him." He states blatantly.
"Aw thanks, how sweet." You state sarcastically. "Anyways, how's your work going for you?"
You tried your best to change the subject as you no longer wanted to talk about Jinyoung.
"It's good I guess. I struggle a bit, but it's not that bad."
"Well have fun with that. I hope you struggle a lot." You state jokingly, taking pleasure out of your brother's misery.
Youngjae graduated high-school early to travel to Japan for some work. Something had always seemed a bit off about it, but you never asked any questions.
He never told you what he was doing or who he even worked for. He just packed up and left which was about six months ago.
"Y/n! Come downstairs for a sec!"
"Youngjae I gotta go, mom's calling me." You hung up before he even had the chance to say anything else.
You left your phone on your bed before walking downstairs.
As you reached the last step, you saw an unfamiliar man standing next to your mother. He was wearing formal clothing, and your brows furrowed.
"Mom, who is this?"
She smiles at your worrisome expression, walking over to you.
"This man works with the police station as a probation officer. He will be watching over you this summer." She explains as you stood there speechless.
"He'll be watching me?" You scrunch your nose up in disgust.
"Yes." He deadpans. "You are under house arrest, which means you are not permitted to leave the house under any circumstances."
"Under any circumstances?" You repeat, and he simply just nods.
"What if my house was on fire? Would I just have to stay inside and burn?" You retort.
"I'm afraid so." He crosses his arms with a serious expression.

Your mother stared at him like he was crazy, in which he finally revealed a small smile.
"That's a joke." He said, stating the obvious.
You squinted your eyes at him, keeping up your poker face. You didn't want him to think that you were actually starting to like him.
"So, how long am I under house arrest for?" You questioned.
"It'll be about two months." The probation officer answers, the smile quickly falling from his face.
"But what about school?" Your eyes widen.
"Oh, you'll still be going to school once you're fully transferred in next week, but other than that you won't be going anywhere." Your mother clears up. "I'm sorry Y/n, but you have to face the consequences to your actions."
You wanted to be mad, but she was right. It wasn't your idea to break into your school, but you want along with it. You're just as guilty as Jinyoung in the situation.
"You will need to put this on." The probation officer holds out an ankle monitor, handing it to your mother.
"This will alert the police station if you leave the house or allow the monitor's batteries to die as that will allow the police station to no longer track you." He explains. "If that happens, I will be sent down from the station to come check on you which will result in a violation."
You wanted to respond with something humorous to rid yourself this shitty feeling you were currently experiencing, but you knew your mother wouldn't like that.
The officer bends down, motioning you to stick your right leg out. You complied and he pulled up the hem of your jeans.
"So..what am I supposed to call you?" You asked, watching as he attached the monitor around your ankle.
Once the cuff was finally hooked, he looks up at you before speaking. "Lim Jaebeom."
Your eyes studied his face as you stared down at him. His cold fingertips lingering on your skin. He has a beautiful name.
His eyes remained on yours when all of a sudden, you realized you had been staring for too long. Your cheeks began to flush and he quickly rose to his feet, clearing his throat after noticing your flustered expression.
"Anyways, I should be heading off. I have more work to do." He tried his best to give your mother a sincere smile.
"Of course, it was nice to meet you." Your mother gives one of her fake smiles and you immediately recognized that expression.
As Jaebeom let himself out, your mother swiftly shut the door behind him before eyeing you with a stern expression.
"What in the world was that interaction?"
"What are you on about?" You bit your nails, not understanding.
"Don't act dumb." She scoffs. "I saw the way you two looked at each other. That was very inappropriate."
"Wha–"
"Your enticing behavior around men is unbecoming. You better not try and tempt him, although knowing you..I wouldn't be surprised if you did." She spoke with a distasteful look on her face.
She always did this. Whenever any man, especially older men gave you any attention or stared at you bit too long, your mother would suddenly become agitated. If you didn't know any better you'd think she was envious.
But like always, you would simply just choose to ignore her outlandish words. You have more important things to worry about. Like school..

The next week, you found yourself sitting in the principal's office at your new school. She seemed nice so far, but you were hoping she wouldn't bring up what happened at your old school.

"Good morning, I'm Mrs. Yu..you must be the new student." The principal greets you politely.
"Yes, I'm Choi Y/n."
"Now, I heard about what went down at your previous school. Something along the lines of you breaking in to steal answer documents, correct?" She questions, causing you to internally groan.
"Yes, that's correct." You nod.
"Seeing as you're new here, I'll be willing to look past all of that." She states as she opens one of her desk drawers and pulls out a file. She flipped through it and took out a sheet of paper, handing it to you.
"This will be your schedule for the year." She informs. "I'll be expecting remarkable behavior from you, Ms. Choi. Let's not start on a bad foot."
You felt the imaginary bead of sweat trip down your forehead. Her stare was very stern and intimidating, making you a nervous wreck.
"Thank you." You give an awkward smile. "I'll try my best."
You stand from you chair, bowing your head before quickly leaving her office.
As you entered the hallway, you let out a sigh of relief, glad that was over. She didn't say much, but you felt as if you were being interrogated.
"Great I have math first, that's just splendid." You whisper in annoyance, while staring down at the paper in your hand.
You were walking through the halls, trying to find out where your homeroom is..that was until someone bumped into you. The impact caused you to stumble back a bit. You look up at the person with a glare on your face.
"Sorry." He apologized quickly with a ninety degree bow. "Wait..aren't you the new girl?"
"Yeah, what is it to you?" Your brows furrow at his question.
"The principal asked me to show you around." He informs. "I've been looking for you everywhere."
You just roll your eyes, in irritation. Now you were stuck with this weird clumsy guy that you don't even know.
"In that case can you show me where homeroom is?" You ask, and handed him your schedule.
He casually reads the room number and immediately smiles.
"I'm actually heading there now." He voices. "My name is Jackson Wang, by the way."
"Choi Y/n."
"Nice to meet you!" He spoke cheerfully and began leading you to your class.
"Yeah, you too..I guess." You mumble awkwardly.
You both finally made it to your first class of the day. When you walked in the teacher smiled towards you, while Jackson just headed to his seat.
The teacher asked if you could introduce yourself and you just stood there awkwardly as you don't like to be up in-front of people.
"Uh—hi, I'm Y/n. Nice to meet you all..I think?"
"Thank you, Y/n, you may go sit in that empty seat beside Jackson." Mrs. Lee said.
You swiftly headed over to your desk while cringing at your introduction. You hated when teachers forced students to introduce theirselves to the class. It's so embarrassing.
"This is going to be a long ass year." You mutter to yourself as you sat down.
After a few of your classes were over you were walking down the hallways with Jackson, because he said he wanted to introduce you to his friend.
You just agreed, following along, you didn't have anything better to do anyways.
"Here he is," Jackson said walking up to his locker, "This is Bambam and Bambam this is, Y/n." Jackson says happily and you just gave Bambam a small wave.
"So you're the new girl?" He smirks.
"Yep, that's certainly me." You nod dramatically. "First name, New and last name, Girl."
"You look like you know how to party." Bambam states randomly and you almost let out a snort.
"That's a weird assumption." You crossed your arms, revealing your smile. "Are there any?"
"Tonight at my house, 9pm." Bambam says, taking a pen from his bag.
He pulls your hand towards him and rights down his number, "Text me and I'll send you my address." He adds, closing his locker and walking off to the lunch room.
"I think Bambam and I are going to be good friends." You voice as your eyes followed him until he was gone.
"What about me?" Jackson asks, feeling left out.
"You're just the tour guide." You tease.
"Wow! How sweet." He sneers.
You give an innocent smile, and let him show you to the cafeteria since it was time for lunch.
After making it inside, you two went your separate ways as he went to go sit with his friends. He offered for you to sit with him, but you politely declined, wanting to be alone for a bit.
You casually picked up an apple from the food section, not feeling too hungry and sat down at some random table.
"Alone at last." You sigh in relief, but then two girls sat down on each side of you, "..and I spoke too soon."
"Hi, I'm Jennie!"
"I'm Jisoo!"
"Y'know, I'd love to get to know you and all, but I just got a ton of homework, so I'm gonna go." You lie, before attempting to stand up.
"You're Y/n, aren't you?" The brunette asks and you groan, sitting back down.
"Yeah, why?" Your brows furrow, seeing as they already knew your name.
"Well, heard about you from Bambam and he said you seemed pretty cool." The black haired girl, Jisoo explains. "We want to be friends with you."
"I'm not really looking for any friends at the moment. Thanks for the offer though." You decline.
"Too late." Jennie grins. "We're already friends."
Before you could respond, the sound of a girl crying behind you had caught your attention. You turned slightly a tall student with jet black hair standing with his lunch tray hovering over this blonde girls head.
The food from his tray seeped down the girl's hair and face. The redness of her face deepened by the second as she stood there crying and embarrassed.
Your brows furrowed in astonishment as the black-haired student tossed his tray in the trash and shoved his hands in his pockets with an arrogant smirk.
The students began to laugh as the blonde girl darted out of the cafeteria in shame.
"What the hell was that?" You whisper to Jennie and Jisoo as you couldn't believe what you just witnessed.
"That was Kim Yugyeom," Jennie whisper back, but you stare at her vexed.
"What just happened? Why'd he embarrass that girl like that? How is he not getting suspended for that?" You bombard them with questions.
"My guess is she confessed her feelings towards him." Jisoo answers. "Yugyeom always finds a way to make a big scene and embarrass the girls he's rejecting in front of the whole school."
You almost couldn't believe what you were hearing.
"He must thinks he's Goo Jun-Pyo or something." You state causing the two girls to laugh.
You turned around to look at Yugyeom once more when another male student standing beside him caught your attention.
His bright blonde hair contrasted with his dark brown eyes. His stance was so elegant and proper. He was one of the most beautiful people you have ever layed your eyes on. The energy surrounding him was so captivating. One could only describe him as a fallen angel.
"What's so funny?"
Your eyes panned back to Yugyeom as he was now staring at the two sisters beside you who had been laughing at your little joke.
"Your face." You answered promptly.
"What did you just say?" He takes a step forward, narrowing his eyes at you.
You stand up, ignoring his question and stretch your arms without breaking eye-contact.
"What are you doing?" Jennie whispers in a panicked tone.
"Getting payback for that girl." You spoke, picking up your untouched apple.
"No, Y/n, you can't. You'll be Yugyeom's next target." Jisoo warns, yet you still didn't care.
You pulled your arm back and threw the apple as hard as you could, hitting Yugyeom square in the jaw.
The whole cafeteria went dead silent as they couldn't believe what just happened.
"Oh no." Jennie cringes and hides her face by turning the other way.
He looked down at the apple that was now on the floor, eyes full of anger. Guess he didn't expect anyone to retaliate.
"What the fuck?!" He shouts, eyes wide staring at you in disbelief.
"Sorry, I was aiming for the trash." You apologized with a cheeky smile.
"You clearly missed!" He responds, obviously very pissed off now.
"No, I didn't."
Some students could be heard laughing at your reply, which only enraged Yugyeom even more.
You walked past him without another word and exited the cafeteria in search for the nearest bathroom. You had a feeling that girl would be in there.
Once you successfully found the bathroom, you walked inside to see the blonde rinsing out food from her hair in the sink.
You rummaged through your backpack and pulled out your pair of gym clothes that you ended up not needing today. You noticed her clothes had been stained and you didn't want her to wear dirty clothes for the rest of the day.
You walked up to her and gave her a sympathetic smile, "Here. Take these."
"Thank you." She smiled hesitantly.
She entered one of the stalls and changed. Once she was done, she walked out and stood silently.
"I'm sorry this happened to you." You apologized and she just shook her head quickly.
"It's fine and thank you for helping me out." She grins, but you could see past her facade. You could tell she was on the verge of crying.
You felt badly for her, but you didn't know what to do. You weren't exactly experienced in comforting people.
"Hey what's your name? You never told me." You ask, trying to lighten up the mood.
"Momo."
"That's a pretty name." You smile. "Momo, I was thinking..if you're not doing anything tonight, you should come with me to Bambam's party." You offer.
She held a tiny glimmer of hope in her eyes, but quickly looked down towards her feet.
"I would love to, but he didn't invite me and I wouldn't want to intrude." She declines. "Besides, you've only been here for a day and so many people already want to be your friend. I don't think it would look good if I went with you."
You roll your eyes at her explanation. You didn't care about popularity and people are only talking to you 'cause you're new. By next week, they will have already forgotten about you.
"I don't care what those people think and you shouldn't either. My offer about coming with me still stands. Just think about it, okay?" You state, trying to rid her of her worries.
"Okay, I will." She says, finally giving in.
"Cool, I'll see you later then?"
She just nods with a gentle smile and you head out of the bathroom, leaving her to finish cleaning herself off.
As soon as you entered the hall, you collided against someone's body.
You've already been ran into two times today, you are beginning to think you're invisible or something.
You realize that the person who ran into you was Yugyeom and you roll your eyes.
"Oh, it's you." You stare at him in disgust, wiping yourself off.
You heard him scoff as you walked off to your class without sparing him a second glance. You grin evilly, knowing this year was gonna be full of you stomping all over Yugyeom's ego.
This school might not be so bad after all.

Wildcards: The Dread Captain
At the District One Invitational, a rookie eSports team defied all odds and reached the finals. Their underdog story and humble beginnings elevated them to worldwide acclaim. Media corporations dubbed them, The Paragons. With their main competition eliminated from the tournament during the semifinals, the rookie team sailed through the live finals and won by a landslide. Their prize was to become the first ever players in the most exclusive VR game yet, Abidden. The Paragons never celebrated that semi-final victory. They lost a friend in that match, who never appeared online again. Ten years later, the gaming landscape has changed and Abidden with it. Helena is the last remaining Paragon. Her team now consists of celebrities, influencers and musicians. Abidden has been reduced to a shadow of its former glory, but is the most streamed and viewed game in the world, despite having only a handful of players. None of this matters to James Sylvester. Finally out of hospital, things aren't good for James. He's found himself crippled with medical debt, his gaming licence has been revoked and he's permanently lost his place in society. He now spends his days competing in illegal slum arcades to manage the repayments. When a high-profile job comes along, James gets temporary backdoor access to his blacklisted gaming account. After reactivating it for the first time in ten years, James receives an invitation that could change his life forever. Disclaimer: This story is in no way or form associated with the works of George R. R. Martin and has no link to the popularised series, Wild Cards. This is a LitRPG story of my own creation that shares that name.
8 126Dominion Expansion (a 4X LitRPG)
Clay is one of the world's top players of 4X games, a genre where the goal is to eXplore, eXpand, eXploit, and eXterminate. He's also one of the only players in the world to so stubbornly stick to the one city strategy, a favorite tactic of his that involves only ever using a single city or planet depending on the game's setting. All that matters to him is winning with his favorite strategy, but earning the respect of his fellow players for taking a sub-optimal strategy to its highest level has always been a nice bonus. And now it is because of his skill and entertaining determination that he has been chosen to represent a higher realm in a strategy game where the fate of Earth and dozens of other worlds are at stake. To the victor goes the spoils, and the spoils include entire worlds and billions of lives. That's how he ends up representing the ascended realm of Hell in a grand "game" between an entire pantheon of godly beings and other higher powers. But while it may just be a game to those overseeing it, it is a genuine war for survival to those participating in it where billions of real lives will go to the victor of whoever wins, and many will die before the game is over. Quick Author's Notes: System inspired by Civilization, Endless Legend, Stellaris, and Crusader Kings 2. Combat mechanics inspired by the Total War series. Slow-paced with many long-term plans. Protagonist has a personality heavily inspired by Ron Swanson. Know who that is and love him? You should like Clay. Know who Ron Swanson is and hate him? You'll probably hate Clay. Planning on writing every single day (turn). Days with important things happening will have the system/game mechanics be the priority of the chapter. Days where there isn't really anything important happening will be more slice-of-life and focused on character interactions. Designed a dice-based randomized map generator to create the world as the story goes on, so I don't even know myself exactly what's going to happen as a lot is dependent on world generation. Tech tree with hundreds of technologies already designed. There is a "harem," but it's not the main focus, the girls won't be cardboard cutouts, and I'm not going to completely forget about any previous women in the relationship whenever a new one comes along. One last thing. The "game" starts off with primitive technology level. The current plan is for the "endgame" tech level to be equivilent to WW2-era technology. After that and war just gets boring until you end up in space. Cover is temporary and made from royalty-free stock images while waiting for the real cover's commission to finish.
8 129Surviving the Dead

But what happens when they come across a woman named Holly? Fourteen-year-old Forest Shepherd was born into the apocalypse. As hard as surviving already was, he also has epilepsy. Will he be able to survive with this condition, or will it one day be the death of him?

A group of teenagers ripe with talent and passion try their best to prove themselves to the system of a military battle school. But what they fight for may never end up being right. After things go down at the battle school these teens are forced to grow up fast in order to stop a war.
