Я прихожу в сознание. Голова раскалывается, а в теле слабость. Я открываю глаза, осматривая помещение, в котором я сейчас нахожусь. Это неизвестная мне ранее комната. Я лежу на кровати, а что-то тяжелое и горячее сдавливает мне грудь. Я поворачиваю голову, осознавая, что на мне лежит Дарс. Я скидываю ее с себя, выбираясь из кровати. Что это было?! Я смотрю на пол, обнаруживая, что моя одежда разбросана по полу. Хаотично я начинаю собирать ее, быстро натягиваю на себя. Так, телефон, Изз. Номер не отвечает. Майк. Может хоть он ответит.
- Чего тебе? - голос Майка был на редкость суров и груб.
- Майк, что случилось??
- Ты это у меня спрашиваешь?! Тебя не было четыре дня! Очнись, придурок, все это время ты был с Дарс!
- Четыре?! Стоп, нет, подожди, тут что-то не так! Где Изз?? С ней все хорошо?
- Не смей произносить ее имя, урод!
На этом разговор окончился. Что произошло? Четыре дня? Что с Изз?! От моих раздумий меня отвлек мерзких хохот. Я повернулся, заметив Дарс, закутанную в простынь и опирающуюся на край двери. В ее глазах плясали черти, смех был полон холода, черствости и цинизма, а улыбку перекосило так, что посмотрев на нее, нельзя было даже и подумать, что она нормальная девушка.
- Ты и в правду хочешь узнать, что случилось с твоей драгоценной Изабель? - сев на стул, она перекинула ногу за ногу и за курила сигарету. - Она, как и все остальные убеждена, что ты предал ее, изменив ей со мной, - выпустив дым, на ее лице расплылась чеширская улыбка.
- Что ты сделала?! - уже не сдерживая эмоций, спросил я.
- Ничего необычного, подсылала тебе снотворного в еду, и ты отрубился. Раздела, ну а дальше, ты уже, думаю, догадаешься. А твоя Иззи, - она выделила ее имя особым тоном так, что было понятно, на сколько ее передергивает, - получила качественные фотографии, на которых мы вместе.
- Дрянь! Зачем тебе это?!
- Я же сказала, что ты будешь моим, вот ты и мой, - затянувшись еще раз, она сделала такое невинное личико, от которого хотелось блевать. Стерва!

This story is an adaptation of a D&D campaign I ran but never was able to complete. I tried to capture the feel of a table-top RPG session —tropes and humor— without relying on the mechanics. This is not a litRPG or gamelit story and no D&D mechanics or system appear in the game. It follows one member of an adventuring party as he deals with the problems with that arise from being an adventurer. Namely, getting roped into adventures. The story has a time loop element, but will eventually move past that. This story explores the magic systems, the history, and the lore of the world through the lens of Tal's entries in his Spellbook and interludes from other written works in the world.
