Tired beyond tired I walk into the prison after Adam drove me there and I was thankful that if was night and there wasn't any traffic to go through and we got here pretty quick. I can barely keep myself awake but I need to do it for what I heard Mr. Cordero say to me shocked me to the core and it brought nothing but shivers down my spine. "Dr. Russell?" A man asks that I can only assume is Mr. Cordero. "Do you want him brought to your office or do you wish to speak to him in his cell?" He asks me.

I can tell that he's almost going to rip out his own hair from this situation. "My office would be best for Moore privacy to get to the bottom of this and make sure that nothing happens" I tell him and with only a nod he dials a number on his phone but I don't hear his conversation for I am walking to my office to make everything ready for a session that I did not know I would be having today or tonight or exactly the clock is after midnight which means that it is another day.

I'm so confused and so tired that I can't even think straight and I'm only confusing myself even further. I sit down on my brown leather chair and I do everything that I can to not fall asleep in it because it is quite comfortable to sit in and when one is tired one can sleep anywhere no matter how uncomfortable or comfortable it is. Looking outside the window to see the pitch black sky and the beauty that the stars are showing with their glow and how the half moon is as graceful as ever and it stands there proudly.

Then door opens and more than ten guards are bringing Silas inside but he only has this dark murderous look on his face that sends shivers up and down my whole body. Silas does not look tired at all, in fact he looks like he has just slept the best night of his life and woken up refreshed. "Do you wish to have a guard with you or do yo-" Mr. Cordero begins to speak but is cut off. "She will be alone!" Silas speaks. His voice sends this authority that I've never heard before.

I notice that Mr. Cordero is almost shaking in fear as he nods and he and the guards leave me alone in the office with Silas in the middle of the night. I look at him, studying for a while. My eyes are too tired to notice anything important as I only want to sleep. "Why did you ask for me?" I ask him and he rolls his eyes. "I did not ask for you, I ordered for you to be brought here" He speaks. It would appear that he is rather grumpy but there is always a way to put a smile on the face.

Perhaps not his face... anyway, moving on... "Ordered? I don't think you understand how prison works" I softly tell him as I would not want to make him any more angry than he already is since that would not be a good idea. Chuckling he leans back. His tattooed arm goes into view and while I can't tell what they are there is this hidden beauty in them. "No, my dear, this prison is only temporary and they should do exactly as I say before I lose my temper and trust me..." He says as he looks at me dead in the eyes.

"You don't want to see that, it might get ugly" He whispers. His rough voice sending shivers up and down my whole body and that is enough to wake me up completely and all the tiredness just goes away when I look into is hollow kohl black eyes. Clearing my throat and breaking the eye contact I adjust myself in the chair. "When you say 'this prison is only temporary' what does that mean exactly?" I ask him as I have been writing down what he says.

Smirking and giving me a dark look. "Figure that out on your own" He says in a challenging voice but I am in no mood to go up against him. Somehow he does scare me yet not at the same time and perhaps it is the lack of sleep but am just too confused to think straight. "I was told that you threatened them with a bomb, is that correct?" I ask him and he rolls his eyes. "Are you going to keep asking me questions as if I were a child?" He asks me. The gaze that he gives me makes me feel uneasy but still something else.

"If that is what it takes to get you to explain then I will continue but you could just tell me..." I say as in a more of a hope rather than anything else as I know that getting him to speak is rather hard to do. He does speak a fair amount but he does avoid the questions that I ask him and he is rather defensive about some things. Smirking he raises an eyebrow. "It will not come cheap, if you wish me to tell you why I threatened them with a bomb and know if there is a bomb or if I am bluffing, you need to do something for me" He says and his Adam's apple bobs as he speaks which makes me gulp.

"And what do you want me to do in the middle of the night that I could not have done on Monday?" I ask him, I am a bit annoyed with the fact that I am working when I should be in bed. Chuckling he gives me a look that I can't be sure what is. "I want these chains away, all of them. I want to be able to walk around in your office" He says and my eyes widen at his words.

"I...um... well... um..." I trail off, barely any words coming out of my mouth as I have no idea what to say to that. I clear my throat and collect myself and ignore his amused look, clearly I am only amusement to him. "I'm in no authority to make things like that happen, you have to talk to the warden for that" I tell him as calmly as I can. I'm not sure what he truly wants but I want to find out.

Silas rolls his eyes and raises an eyebrow at me. "No, if you do not make this happen then this prison will explode and level the whole city" He says to me and once again I am stunned. He can't be serious, can he? "If there was a bomb around here then why would you want it to explode so you would die? What will that do?" I ask him and his face falls right away. "You are a smart one" He says with a smirk on his face that I am slowly warming up to.

"I suppose we will just have to find out" He tells me and I sigh. "All right, I will talk to the warden's assistant about it" I tell him as I stand up but as soon as I do I feel a bit dizzy and I stop right in my track. My eyes meet his and for a split second it felt like there was concern in his eyes, though he doesn't say anything about it and neither do I as I walk towards the door and open it and quickly close it again once I'm outside.

All the guards and even more are waiting outside my office, ready if anything were to happen. Mr. Cordero walks over to me and it looks like he's panicking. "He wants to have his chains removed and in return he will and I quote 'the prison will explode and level the city'" I say to him and he truly looks like he is about to faint at any second. "Do you want to sit down, Mr. Cordero, you are looking rather pale?" I ask him but he shakes his head at me and I nod, if he doesn't want to sit then he doesn't.

He sighs. "We can't take his chains off and we can't allow him to level the city and kill us all in the prison. I'm going in" He says and before I could even stop him he enters my office with me following right behind him, unsure if Silas will like this or not, definitely not because his grumpy look only grows more grumpier at the sight of Mr. Cordero in my office. "So you're the warden's assistant, how pathetic. Now, I assume you are here to take these chains off me?" He asks in his dark voice.

Mr. Cordero is afraid of him and tries to stay as close to the door as possible which only makes Silas wickedly let out a chuckle. "No, you will tell us where the bomb is and then you will go back to your cell" Mr. Cordero says but his voice is shaky from the fear that he feels and I do get that since right now Silas is creepy and a bit scary to me and I'm not sure if I want to be in here. And a bomb, this is like the worst movie ever and I don't want act in it or be anywhere near it.

Silas only smirks as he leans back. "In this office the chains are off, anywhere else I'll happily wear them" He says. Both Mr. Cordero and I give Silas a confused look, as both of us are not understanding this. He wants the chains and the handcuffs off, but only in my office. He's only here for about an hour every five days of the week. This doesn't make any sense to me at all then again I don't think it ever will be. "And what of Dr. Russell, if your chains are removed then her life is being put in danger" Mr. Cordero speaks as his eyes run over to me.

The kohl black eyed Silas lets out a growl, almost like an animal and both Mr. Cordero and I look over to him with shock and fright. "The Dr. will be perfectly safe that I assure you" Silas speaks, yet why do I get the feeling that he's lying. "And FYI I would be quick to decide because in..." He says as his eyes turn to the clock on the wall. "Twenty minutes this building and the city... well... you know" He says and then the most twisted laughter comes from him.

Shivers run up and down my whole body by the sound of his laughter that could inspire nightmares to some and when I say that I mean Mr. Cordero as he looks like he's about to faint from the fear inside his body. He gestures for me to go outside and the two of us go to the hallway. "The warden is the only one that can make these kinds of decisions, I have no power over this. I'm so screwed" He says as he starts to pace back and forth, not caring about the guards that are watching him.

I walk over to him and stop him. "You should calm down, stressing this much is not good for the body" I calmly say to him. "We will figure this out" I then tell him and he nods his head but he doesn't stop pacing. He is panicking and it can't be good for him nor anyone to stress this much. Yawning I turn around and walk into my office once more where he is grinning and it is not a comforting one.

"I don't understand, you would put yourself in danger? You don't look like you're afraid to getting blown up because there is a big chance that this isn't happening" I tell him as I sit down on the brown leather chair. Wanting nothing more than to be in my own bed sleeping. Just thinking of sleep makes me let out a yawn once again. "You are a lucky one" He then says. Furrowing my eyebrows at him in pure confusion when he said that. "What makes you say that?" I ask him though I am so tired that I just keep yawning and I know that is rude but the tiredness in my body doesn't seem to want to listen.

"You'll know when the clock strikes one in seventeen minutes when everything blows up" He tells me and I pale. Time is going by fast and it could be minutes before we're dead and I should be with my fiancée, in his arms and kissing him. The door opens and Mr. Cordero walks inside and goes over to Silas. "What makes it so that if I were to take the chains, how do we guarantee that the bomb won't go off?" He asks him in a hurry.

I notice that he's holding a phone in his hand and most likely the warden is on the phone. "I will stand in that window and give a signal, if forced or at gun point they will know and bomb this place to the ground before you can even say 'shoot' so I'd think about that very carefully for they are watching us right now" He says and I look outside the window and walk over it but all I'm met with is the darkness and few lights from the prison itself. They're watching? Who's they?

Mr. Cordero puts the phone to his ear and he listens for a moment before he walks out of the office. "You look terrible" He says to me and I turn around to face him in the chair as his kohl black eyes are looking up and down my body. "I have not slept in a long time and I am exhausted because you asked for me in the middle of the night" I say a bit crankier than I wanted it to be which only makes him smirk. "What, it's past your bedtime?" He asks in a mocking baby voice.

I roll my eyes. "Yes, in fact it is" I tell him annoyed as I walk over and sit down. Mr. Cordero and a couple of guards enter my office and they walk over to him and they unlock his chains. "You have a deal, in this office the chains are off yet if you as much as harm Dr. Russell, even a little then they are coming back on" Mr. Cordero says to him but the fear is still there even when he tries to threaten him. "Take my word for it, nothing shall happen to your precious Dr." Silas speaks as the chains fall off him and he's free.
