Ye Jun rubbed his temples.

Just why in the world he became this idiot friend.

"What Consort? What concubine?" Sarang scoffed thinking this guy gone crazy.

"Don't you like SungJin?"

Ye Jun was sure that SungJin liked her but what about Sarang?

Does she like him too?

Why did he suddenly felt that out of nowhere some brat going to snatch away his grown up daughter from him?

That thought itself annoyed him.

"Who like that Icy man?" She snorted at thought of him kissing and hugging without her consent.

Right now her priority was to find about the person behind Mina and also where she buried her body.

Perhaps, Mina thrown her dead body into the sea to feed the fishes.

"Then I'm assuming that you are not planning to tell SungJin about who you are?" Ye Jun's voice pulled her from cursing Mina aloud.

"Yup. I don't want him to get tangle with this. He already has so much on his plates"

Sarang remembered that mysterious person also involved with smuggling the weapons to neighbouring countries.

She doubt not only smuggling weapons, maybe some other things which they yet to find.

If she tell SungJin, that Sarang was JinAe, will he really believe her?

He will definitely laugh at her face calling her carzy.

Ye Jun believed her because he already guessed that she must be JinAe who had plastic surgery because of the similarities between JinAe and Sarang.

Jin Chen believed her because Ye Jun believed her.

But who was she to SungJin?

Ye Jun can read her thoughts and somewhat felt sorry for SungJin.

It must his fault for not letting JinAe to have puppy love when she was in school. He was afraid what if she met a bad guy and what if he hurt her.

Ye Jun shook his head. No, she is really young to fall in love.

"It's getting late. I'll drop you at your dorm" Ye Jun grabbed the car keys as he walked towards the door.

Sarang was fiddling with her fingers panicked whether should she tell him that she was currently not staying at dorms instead staying at SungJin's residence.

Jin Chen also noticed that she was not moving even when Ye Jun reached the door, "My dear queen, are you not willing to leave me?"

Sarang rolled her eyes at his comment. What nonsense is he saying.

"Are you not leaving?" Ye Jun pursed his lips, "Even though I want you to you stay here but I don't think certain someone will not agree to it"

Sarang can already imagine SungJin's fuming face.

Wait, why does it matter to me if he is angry or not?

"Umm.. Ryu, I think it will be better if Jin Chen drop me" Sarang walked to Ye Jun and took the keys from his hand.

"Why?" Ye Jun suddenly gasped, "Don't tell me you like this idiot?"

"Oh really?" Jin Chen jumped from his seat and ran to Sarang.

"No. Definitely not" Sarang crossed her hand showing that she doesn't have any feelings for Jin Chen.

"Hey, you don't have to reject me firmly" Jin Chen moved to the corner to face the wall, "Poor concubine, banished to live in the cold palace"

Sarang chuckled at his cuteness and then turned to Ye Jun, "Ryu, Did you forget that only yesterday that you heard from Sarang and SungJin that JinAe was dead?"

Ye Jun face darkened when she mentioned her own death.

Sarang pretend that she didn't noticed, then continued, "If you walk way with me, don't you think SungJin will be suspicious?"

"Why should I worry about that?"

Sarang blinked her eyes, "Huh? Didn't you noticed? There were people around your house to prevent you from leaving the house" more to prevent him confronting Mina.

Ye Jun was shocked to hear that. Why did SungJin let people to guard the house?

Ye Jun raised his eyebrow, "Did he do it for me to prevent to leave the house or did he do it for prevent you being sad?"

"I don't know what you're saying" Sarang ignored him, "Anyway you can't take me out and most importantly you can't come to the company for at least.. hmm.. Three days. Yes, you can't come to the company for three days. Your absence make him to believe that you're sad and mourning for JinAe-"

Sarang closed her mouth when she noticed the look on his face.

"Jin Chen, drop her at the dorms"

Ye Jun didn't say a word to Sarang as he walked to his room gingerly, "Why did she always mentioning her death casually like she's having candy"

Jin Chen turned around showing his perfect white teeth to her, "Concubine was called back to meet the Empress"

Sarang burst out laughing, "I'm happy that Ye Jun had you in my absence. Let's go"

Sarang throw the keys to Jin Chen which he gladly accept.

When they both walked towards the car Jin Chen cursed to see so many people around the house.

That damn SungJin really treasured Sarang.

A small smile appeared on his face knowing that his life saver was really got the best man in the country. But why he felt that Sarang was little slow when comes to romance.

He remembered the way they both argued in the morning.

Any man will get angry if he know the girl he love think him as a stranger.

"Now I understood why you were so fierce at Mina the other day"

Sarang's word made him to remember about their little encounter in front of his restaurant.

Jin Chen chuckled, "I admit that I hate Mina when I heard that she made JinAe to suffer and also the she might be the reason why others suspected JinAe for the murdering the professor"

Sarang clenched her fist when she recalled the past.

"Hey, but what I did really was beacuse she and her minion offended you, Sarang. You are my guest whom I brought to my restaurant. How I can let others to bully you?"

Sarang registered in her mind just what she heard.

"You mean that was your restaurant?"

"Yeah"

"You mean you took me to your own restaurant to have dinner?"

"Yeah"

"You mean you took me to your own restaurant to have dinner and made me to pay the bill?"

"Yeah"

Jin Chen suddenly felt something was wrong with the conversation they are having. Then he suddenly remembered that until now Sarang doesn't know that Mon Trésor was his own restaurant.

He turned to look at Sarang, true to his instinct she was fuming in anger.

"Oh my princess, I really didn't meant to hide it from you. I just want some female student opinion on my restaurant food. You just happened to meet the criteria so that's why" Jin Chen gulped hard.

Sarang sneered, "You con man"

"Yes, Princess. I'm a con man. I'm sorry. I'm deserved to banish to be in cold palace"

Sarang controlled herself to not to laugh but couldn't help it to laugh aloud.

Jin Chen secretly sighed in relief knowing that she was not angry anymore.

They both reached the dorm. Sarang got down and bid goodbye to Jin Chen.

Once his car left her eye sight, she hailed a cab to go to Sung residence.
