"Sarang, Is that you?"

The three of them stopped at hearing Sarang's name and turned to looked at the person.

"Isn't he Kang Hwan?" Byeol whispered to them.

"Yes, what is he doing here?" GaEun whispered back.

The handsome guy walked towards the girls. Next to him was two guys who were same handsome as him and two girls who were looking like a rich brat.

Seeing Sarang in front of his eyes, Kang Hwan heart pricked. By seeing upon her gaze he felt that he have lost something forever which might not be in his reach no matter how much he tried.

Sarang doesn't even want to look at his face when she thought of 'real Sarang'. Poor girl she lost her life for this scumbag. With that thought she started to walk away.

When Kang Hwan saw Sarang was walking away, he rushed towards her and stopped in front of Sarang. Seeing her so close, his heart skipped a beat. He never know that Sarang could be so beautiful.

Is it because he haven't seen her for a year?

"Who are you?" Sarang's indifferent voice made his frowned.

"Are you kidding? You don't know me?" Kang Hwan almost laughed in anger.

"I don't remember the people who are not important to me" Sarang face showed a hint of impatience.

Kang Hwan lost his temper, "How can you say that to me? Did you forgot who am I? Did you forgot how you spent the last ten years running after me showing your love to me?"

Sarang sneered, "Oh sorry, I forgot. I didn't expected you to be remember that"

When Kang Hwan felt her hatred gaze on him, he felt unhappy.

He did regret knowing that Sarang attempted suicide because he know Sarang was standing there when he was talking with Hyeri.

He even himself didn't expected Hyeri to kiss him, but thankfully he titled his head. When Kang Hwan turned to look at Sarang all he saw her trembling lonely back. He wants to follow her but he didn't.

Kang Hwan felt guilty at first. After knowing that his parents arranged Sarang as his fiancé without his consent made him to hate her. If he said that he didn't moved by her love for past ten years then it must be a lie.

But being a man he doesn't want to accept that so he always ignored her. Even when his fangirls bullied Sarang, he didn't even batted his eyes.

He was shocked when he get to know about her suicide attempt. Kang Hwan didn't expect her to do this for him. Not even in his dreams he would have guessed that Sarang loved him so much that she even decided to took her life.

The guilt killed him for one month. When he heard that Sarang was awake, he cried like a baby in his room. He promised himself that he will treat her better in future and never disappoint her in this life.

Little did he know that he lost his opportunity.

Kang Hwan brought the flowers himself and went with his parents to meet Sarang but he didn't expected her to break off the engagement.

His ego failed to accept her to break off the engagement so in a moment of anger he agreed to it.

He was shocked beyond thought that Sarang was saying it because she was angry at him. Once she was calmed he know she will run back to him.

But all he was known that their engagement was broken and all over the country know about it.

After breaking off the engagement, his father and mother totally disappointed in him and ignored him saying that he lost a precious treasure because of his selfishness.

Kang Hwan comforted himself saying that Sarang will come back to him like always giving her baked cookies. Sarang didn't came, only the news came that Sarang left the city. He heard that Sarang went to another city to continue her studies.

That time Kang Hwan realised that he lost Sarang forever.

He didn't waste the time to come here to study in NLU as same as her. But he was too late and the admissions were closed. Kang Hwan didn't even have the face to ask his parents to pull some strings to let him study in NLU.

He didn't have any other choice so he chose another university but same major as Sarang in the same city. He was shocked to know that Sarang chosen Computer as her major instead of chemistry. As far he knows he likes computer related stuffs and Sarang likes chemistry.

So he thought that still he have some hope that Sarang might be into him.

Kang Hwan had few friends in NLU, through them he got to know about Sarang's academic developments and felt shocked at the same time he was proud.

Many times he lingered near NLU to catch a glimpse of her. Whenever he thought of meeting her he somewhat felt scared.

Today he unwillingly came here with his friends for accompany them for their shopping but didn't expect to meet Sarang. Before he could stop himself he called out to her.

"Hwan, who is she?" Yun Hae voice waked Kang Hwan from his thoughts.

Seeing his friend talking with three girls, Kang Hwan friends went to him.

Subconsciously he replied, "My fiancée, Sarang"

Including Sarang everyone looked shocked.

Sarang and her friends were shocked because of his ignorance thinking that Sarang was still his fiancée.

Kang Hwan friends were shocked because they never heard of him saying that he has an fiancée. All the three of them looked at Seo Yun whose face reddened in anger.

All of Kang Hwan classmates know that Seo Yun has crush on Kang Hwan. For the past one year she did not let any other girls to approach him. It took some time for her to become his friend because Yun Hae became a girlfriend of Kang Hwan's friend, Min Ho.

Seo Yun took the chance and started to approach Kang Hwan in the name of friend. She know one day he will definitely looked at her but she didn't expect him introduce another girl as his fiancée.

GaEun almost flared in anger, "Who is your fiancée? Did you forgot that Sarang already broken the engagement with you?"

GaEun's angry voice made Kang Hwan to realize what he said. His face blushed in embarrassment.

"Oh, so she is your ex-fiancee" Seo Yun mocked at Sarang which provoked GaEun and Byeol. When they both opened their mouth to rebut Sarang stopped them.

"Kang Hwan, we don't have any reasons to talk with each other. It's better if we don't cross each others path in the future" Sarang voice hinted a warning which Kang Hwan refused to accept it.

When he opened his mouth to talk, suddenly Sarang pushed him away and ran towards the road.

They turn around and saw a kid on the middle of the road bending down to picking up something. On the opposite there was a truck rushing towards the kid, but the kid was busy picking up his stuffs.

Before they could analyse the situation they saw Sarang ran towards the kid. When the truck got closer she hugged the kid and rolled on the road where the pedestrian path were located.

The impact made Sarang to hit on her head and lost her consciousness. The Kid was too shocked as he lost his consciousness along with her.
