《His Personal Chef》Chapter 41

"Ughhh!" Winnie snapped opened her eyes. Looking at Damien who made the sound probably due to hangover, she proceeded to get a glass of water from the side table.
As she got him the glass, his eyes widened roamed around the room that wasn't his. Taking a glass from her hands, he gulped the water in, relaxing his sore throat that has been aching for too much alcohol consumption last night.
Winnie just sat quiet on her bed, last time when they slept together did he ask her to leave, she remembers well and now that he is in her room he can't really ask her to leave so should she do the honors of her asking him to get out of the room. It will hurt his almighty ego though.
She cleared her throat to gain his attention but seemed like he was more engaged into messaging his forehead. Who asked him to drink so much? He was wincing at his poor hand too that has a wound. Winnie grinned at his position, call her evil but she was kind of enjoying messed up Damien, not so perfect.
He tried to get up on his foot, Winnie wondered if she could help him but better not. He drank now he face the consequences. Hesitantly with each step carefully, Damien walked towards the door not before bumping into couch or wall. Winnie ouched in pain cause those seemed horrible bumps. Poor Damien.
As he got out of the room, she sighed. There's alot time left for breakfast so she can sleep a little. She jumped on the side of bed he was laying down, snuggling her face on the pillow his head was on and sniffing the sheet that was lingering his scent. God how intoxicating and manly, she loves it but won't admit it.
...
Today Winnie came along to office with him cause there was literally nothing to do at home, she'll be bored but when the barbie came along with them. Winnie was horrified as she was coming along too, what's the point now. Her annoying behaviour irritates Winnie. How come Damien copes up with it. If She knew barbie was coming alony, she would have saved herself a misery of not coming. But it's already 4 days rest. Even though it was him who asked her to take rest for about 2 weeks but Winnie knows how it will be, he will taunt about it at some point.
She was engaged on the task she was given. It was a hard job as she isn't the person who can do all of this, it wasn't her cup of tea. She wonders when this all will be over so she can have a life inside the kitchen, where she truely belongs. How much she dreams to open her own restaurant with the best food ever. Maybe get famous for her food in America well she doesn't really wanna be famous, she just wanna be a best chef out there.

She even wanted to invent her own dishes but always engaging with office work doesn't really give her much time to think all of this. But she has to start though.
She heard very loud heels on the floor. Melissa was already inside with Damien so who's that coming, she wondered. Looking upto see a fabulous beauty, Winnie gasped in shock. As the girl came towards her, she couldn't help but feel insecure. And god was she tall with a thin yet curveous figure. She definitely got a model type body which Winnie was admiring, wishing she had a body like that too instead of being so tiny and small.
(The new character.)
"Where is Damien?" She asked in her polite tone.
Who is she and what business she got with him? Winnie really wanted to tell her get out and never come back cause if Damien sees her, he will be amazed. And that thought alone agitated Winnie.
But wait, why does it seems like she had already seen her. The girl look too familiar but Winnie can't really point it out where she has seen this girl.
"Excuse me, may I ask who are you?" Winnie asked back.
"Where is Damien?" The girl said, gritting. The polite lady she appeared to be all gone. Winnie figured she was not what she seems to be, but a b word.
"Well, if you dont have an appointment you can leave." Winnie said in a dismissing tone but the woman didn't listen and marched towards his office.
Winnie got up from her chair and hurried to stop her. That woman was too tall that she was feeling like a little child infront of her.
As they both entered the office. Both eyes inside looked at their direction but both stuck to this woman. Shocked and stunned that's what his eyes were showing, Winnie could even see some emotions like hurt on his face. He was really shocked that no one uttered a word for about five minutes. Was he amazed with her beauty? Winnie wondered.
"What is going on here?" Melissa said.
The eye contact going on between Damien and the woman didn't seem to break, Winnie didn't like it neither did Melissa.
Melissa looked towards Winnie in question who was this girl who barged in behaving like she owns the place, Winnie shrugged in response.
"Damien." Melissa called out breaking whatever zone Damien was in.
"What is this?" He asked, directing the question towards Winnie.
"I don't know she just barged in. I tried to stop her...-"
"I wanna speak to you alone." The girl said.
So she knows him and he knows her. Probably. He looked at Winnie's direction and asked her to direct the girl out as he doesn't know her and she's wasting much of his time.
"Call the guards." He said in a strict tone. Winnie nodded before going towards the intercom to call them.
Meanwhile the girl stubbornly stood not moving an inch without talking to him, "I'm not going anywhere before talking with you, Damien." She said, taking a seat.

No one said anymore as they waited for the guards to come up in the room and take her out. Melissa was also too confused yet jealous of this girl but nevermind didn't utter a word.
Damien was fuming in anger, he looked towards Winnie and said in a shouting tone, "How fucking incompetent are you." The tone made all three women jump out of fear.
Tears gathered in Winnie's eyes at the insult infront of other people. He will never change, never. She thought he was changing, becoming a better human but no he will remain same, a heartless monster with no feelings whatsoever. She looked down not wanting any of them to see her tearful eyes.
Remembering the night she spent with him sleeping comfortably under his arms, she cringed in disgust. How did she even enjoy that and to say she slept very peacefully. How shameful.
When security came to get the girl, two female guards. She stood up by herself and looked at his direction, "I'll make sure you regret it." Saying that she left the room and the office building.
Melissa seemed to notice his off mood and decided it would be best if she leaves too, doesn't want to be the one he takes his anger out on. She left leaving Winnie alone with him.
He was glaring at her with cold eyes. In his hand there was a pen, he was gripping on it so hard that Winnie was sure it would break and soon it did. Winnie hissed at the action. Who was that woman and why did she make Damien so angry.
"You're useless as fuck." Winnie closed her eyes shut at the insult.
It was bound to happen someday. Once a monster remains a monster. She wasn't aware of whose anger he was lashing out on her and the behaviour isn't normal.
"It's not my fault she just barged in." Winnie said in her defence.
"Nothing is your fault, isn't it?" Now he was uttering some crap.
"Sometimes I wonder why did I help you. Should've left you there to beg on streets so you would've known how it feels like to have no one."
Her heart dropped at his words. She was grateful for him, she was really. But him saying those words to her even though she hasn't done anything to harm him personally, it hurt her and there is nothing she can do.
"I'm sorry." She just doesn't want to be here. Apogize and leave, that's what she aims for.
"Sorry for what, Winnie. Sorry for your existence or perhaps mine?" Maybe for both, she wondered.
Winnie doesn't know nothing about him. His family, his background, just nothing but he knows everything about her. Why is he angry right now, she doesn't know and she can't figure it out cause it's so hard to read his bipolar self.
"You're unbelievable." She said in a high tone.
"I... I thought you were changing." She exclaimed.
"Changing?" He raised his eyebrows at her.
"Yes."
"So you want to fucking change me, you useless slut."
"You don't call me a slut, you yourself are one. You have a fiance and you go around kissing someone else-"
"Kiss. Do you want me to kiss you, Miss Smith. Is that why you're bringing it up."
Nonsense.
But before he could say something to insult her furthermore, she decided to enlighten him. "Those kisses were the most ridiculous ones I ever received in life. You're not even a good kisser to start with so why would I want the kiss."
Truth was she was never kissed by anyone but him. And his kisses are ridiculously great and intoxicating. She was getting addicted to those and wouldn't mind having more cause she craves them. He is indeed an awesome, experienced kisser but no she won't say that. Why is that when he kisses her, he makes her feel like a princess but all other time he treats her worst as if she is his slave. But isn't it what she really is; his slave.
He was clearly hurt by her statement, or so his face showed. Oh, she hurt his big ego but what about when he insults her all the time. Isn't she a human too with a heart that feels pain.
Winnie figured he must have had difficult past but that doesn't really give him the reason to put hardship on her. She wasn't the reason for anything, just nothing. So why was he so bad with her. It's not like life was all fairytale for her either. Growing up without a mother, being called a murdered of her own mother, all her childhood she has faced those bullies uttering those sentences to her. And to say she even believes it. She does blames her own self for her mother not to be there. And her father died due to not having enough money for the operation, all was spent on her education. She wishes she wasn't as selfish and never left America, so she would have known what her father was ging through. Maybe she would have helped him, forced him to have the operation to cure his cancer but guess she was very inconsiderate. If only her father was here, everything would be different. Life for orphans isn't great, is it? The world really eats them alive. No pity, no humanity.
But is Damien aware of the pain she lives with everyday, of course not. He thinks he is the only one who has suffered most in his life.
"Leave." He said in a dismissing tone.
So now he wants her to leave, alright then so she will. Leave the satan alone or he will explode more.
