《His Personal Chef》Chapter 34

I smiled to myself as I was dreaming about another day with Xander. He is so cute, can bring the dead person to life just by his smile and all the jokes. Just kidding but he us humorous.

I sat on my table stuck with some paperwork. I hate paperwork more, requires too much of an effort.

My phone rang.

Xander.

I took a look around the surrounding making sure no one is there and picked up the call.

"Morning, Princess." How caring.

"It's afternoon, Prince Charming."

"How nice of you to call me with such endearment, Princess. And I just woke up."

"Lucky you." I can't even sleep in on sundays either much less a working day. The coffee monster wants his coffee early in the morning before he leaves for jog and after he comes back he needs another one asap.

"So I'll see you tonight, princess." He said, more like asked.

"Of course."

"Bye, take care, my lovely Princess." Well isn't he charming.

"Bye." I said and cut the call.

Just then the intercomb buzzed and I was called in.

"Miss Smith, I would like you to book a table for two at Phoenix restaurant. Grab a dress from one of the best shop for Melissa and after coming back get working on the presentation for monday." Grab Melissa's dress. I am not her servant. Ugh.

"Why would I grab a dress for Melissa. Isn't she capable of doing so on her own." I asked, in a calm tone.

"Miss Smith,.."

Before he could use one of his harsh sentence, I cut him off. "Ok."

How am I supposed to even know her size. Luckily he gave me her phone number and I called her. The barbie was busy on call with someone else and picked up my phone after an hour. She told me specifically where to get her a dress from, her size and the color. So frustrating.

I went to the designer's shop and you know what I decided I won't buy the type of dress she wants me to and I'm going total opposite with the color. I'm not a very good human you can say. I'll buy just casual dress and that will be it. Those two idiots needs to learn not to burden me with unnecessary work. Do you know know if someone force you to do something, always try your worst so next time they don't bother themselves with asking you to do it. You can't be kind to everyone some really don't deserve it.

I found a classic green full dress that I'm sure will cover her fully at the same time it was very elegant. I should have gone with a bad looking one but this will do, considering the amount of clothing she wears, I know she will be super annoyed with this. No more boobs or legs showing, Melissa.

I went back to the office and putting the dress on the table I hurried back to work. Moments later the graceful Damien appeared. "Did you deliver the dress at Melissa's?" He asked.

"Was I supposed to?"

"I clearly remember telling you that, Miss Smith."

"I clearly remember you not telling me that, Damien."

"It's Sir for you, little girl."

"Stop calling me little girl, you stupid little boy." As I stared back at him with all anger, I saw a small smile that disappeared as soon as it appeared.

"Are you calling me a boy, Rose?" His voice was huskier this time and his expressions of a mysterious man.

"Well yeah aren't you 30, old soul." I commented, totally wanting to insult him. Now his expression changed into one very annoyed.

Well it is what it is.

"Deliver the dress to hers." He ordered in a very bossy tone.

"Is this your new way of torturing me? Asking me to get a dress for her when you know how much I dislike her?" He didn't answer me back and walked back to his office.

"Mental phsyco." I muttered under my breath but making sure he heard me.

I grabbed the dress and stomped out of the office.

I bumped into Chirs in the lobby, he smiled at me and greeted. "Hii."

"Hi." I replied in not too excited tone.

"What's up?" He questioned.

"Loaded with not so very important work." I said, showing the the bag.

He looked confused so I cleared it up, "His highness gave me a stupid task to get a dress for his fiance and deliver it to hers."

"Did he?" Chris started laughing.

"How much I hate that man."

"You don't." I narrowed my eyes at him.

"What makes you think I don't." I asked, curious this time.

"Leave it, Winnie. I'd say just tolerate his annoying ass for sometime till he realize your worth. I swear he will be whipped than." What is he even saying. Doesn't make any sense to me.

"I can drive you to hers." Chris offered help and I jumped on him, hugging him as he solved me the misery.

Once we reached her home, her maid brought us in. But you know what her house was filled with her photos of modeling with every different man possible. I took very deep look to search Damien but he was in none. There were even naked photoshoot with men.

Chris looked at them too, very much disappointed. "I don't understand why he has to be with her." He muttered, quite audible.

"So you're here with my dresses." Walked in Melissa, in the shortest dress ever.

As soon as she noticed Chris with me, her witchy eyes that she was showing to me, switched into flirting mode, as she batted them infront of Chris.

"Christian Christopher." She said. He smiled at her, awkwardly saying, "Hello."

"Well you both should sit down. I'll ask my maid to grab some coffee." She said, as she took a seat just behind Chris.

And than her flirting session with Chris started. Omg it was so hilarious when innocent Chris didn't know what to do. She was literally pushing her boobs on his face while talking.

And Damien calls me a slut.

Finally she let us leave but not before forcing her number inside Chris' phone.

...

"Just deleted her number." Chris said, making us both laugh.

When we got back unfortunately for us we saw Damien standing beside my table, looking around, enquiring something?

"What are you looking for?" I asked. He turned around and his eyes stuck to Chris'.

"Why are you here, Christopher?" Shouldn't I be asking him this question since he was at my table, probably investigating something.

"Nothing, was just dropping her off." Chris shrugged.

Not so calm Damien scowled at me, his face turning to cold, hard as stone, "Will you stop screwing my business partners, Smith." His voice was very loud.

"Calm down, I just offered her help since she doesn't own a car." Chris explained it for me.

Ignoring him, he looked back at me, his face showing me just pure rage, "I need to think twice about your position, I don't need a whore inside my company." I didn't want to cry but somehow tears were begging to be released from my eyes.

"I understand your jealousy, Damien. But you shouldn't be treating her so harsh." Chris said, looking at me apologetically.

Huh.

What jealousy.

"Fuck off, Christopher." Damien shouted.

"You can't take her for granted, Damien.

Trust me you don't wanna miss what you least appreciated." Chris said and for a moment I saw some emotions on his face like he was scared.

But soon changed with anger.

"Just like you did." I saw as his fist tightened and he jumped on Chris but before he could do anything, Chris backed away.

Thank god I didn't want a fight here.

"I do. That's why I'm giving you an advice, atleast learn it from me." Chris chuckled to himself and turned around to leave.
