Winnie was shivering as she stood in the balcony of her father's hospital room, looking for any luxurious car passing by. Eventually a car stopped and her phone rang. She checked and it was indeed Damien's missed call, ringing her to let her know they are here.

"Bye Dad! Take care! I love you so much."

"I love you too, my princess, take care of yourself." Her father said with tears in his eyes. She kissed her father's cheek before grabbing her suitcase and rushing outside.

She didn't want to leave him at this condition in the hospital but she had no other option. If only Damien was more understanding. She decided to stay the night in the hospital with her dad and asked Damien to pick her up from hospital instead. He made a great fuss out of this too, telling her how much of a trouble she is and he is not going out of his way to pick her directly from hospital but somehow she managed to make him agree.

The chauffeur took her suitcase, she gripped on her handbag before opening the door for herself. Inside it was very commodious, along the seat, Damien was seated, his attention on his phone. She hesitated before slowly getting in, "Good Morning, Sir!" He ignored her and didn't bother looking up.

She felt bad as she shut the door after her, She looked at the hospital as the car drove away and prayed to god for the health of her father. If only she had the choice to stay here with her father, she would take it in a heartbeat.

She bit her lip before glazing out the window, there is a tension between them. She watched as the scenery blurred past her, the traffic was jam. Horns and noises from other cars could be heard.

"Drive fast, Edwards." Said Damien, frustrating.

"I am trying to make my way through the traffic, Mr Knight. Coming to the opposite route was a mistake." Replied Edwards. Winnie felt bad for being the reason they are gonna be late for the airport, maybe this is how she can miss the flight, she wondered hoping for it. But also feeling bad for it as Damien has important meeting.

"I shouldn't have listened to this stupid girl." Damien said behaving like she is not physically there, sitting and hearing the whole conversation.

"Excuse me, Mr Knight, my sincere apologies for spending the night with my sick father in the hospital." She snapped at him, her voice close on the edge of breaking up. But it didn't have any effect on him as he continued to type on his phone.

Finally they reached the airport, she followed him all the way in to his private jet. He didn't utter a word ignoring her existence.

The plane ride was quiet boring too as she sat on her seat muted while Damien was busy on his laptop.

Swallowing up her ego, She decided to make a small talk, "Mr Knight-.." "Sir," He said firmly, cutting her off. What's his obsession with being called sir. Is it how he likes to rule over people? She wondered.

"When are we coming back?"

"In two days." He replied, shortly. She pouted at his lack of communication.

"I'm bored."

"And how do you think I can entertain you, Ms Smith?" He glanced upto her, his face emotionless.

"Dance for me maybe?" She asked back and he didn't look amused just glared at her before turning his attention back on laptop. She adjusted herself on the seat. She put both her legs up and pushed her seat back making it a comfortable sofa. She laid with her back upside down. Before she knew, she passed out.

.....

He sighed a bit loudly before he twisted his neck left and right for cramps. His eyes were beginning to hurt now so he took a look at the time. It's been 10 hours since they were in a plane. They were about to land anytime now. He rose his eyes up to take a look at her. She had already fallen asleep.

As soon as the plane landed he got up from his seat and walked up to her. "Ms Smith." He called her but got no response, feeling a bit awkward, he tried again.

"Miss Smith." He called as he increased his voice but got no reaction. She slept like a corpse.

He folded his arms below his chest irritatedly as he bent his back so his mouth was a bit closer to her ear. "Miss Smith." He tried calling her again but still got no reaction. Was she dead? He wondered. Frustrated enough, he decided to result to something else. He took a bottle of cold water that was he asked for earlier but didn't drink. He poured the cold water on her.

She jolted awake, "Are you kidding me?" She exclaimed in an angry tone with a voice bit higher then usual to his utmost shock.

"We are here, Ms Smith." Not bothering to apologise for his action he turned around to take his phone and laptop from his seat before making his way out of the plane.

"That was not a good way to wake up a lady, Mr Knight." Said Winnie following his directions. She looked ridiculous with wet hair and face.

"Do you consider yourself a lady, Ms Smith?" He said, his lips curved into a twitch, his eyes shining with amusement. Her mouth hung opened as she took in the insult before shutting it, without coming with any comeback. They got out from the airport and got in the car where she noticed Edwards in the driving seat. How is he here? Did he also come all the way to Paris with us? Winnie wondered.

The car stopped infront of a luxurious five star hotel and they made their way inside, "Take our bags to reception, Edwards." Damien ordered and went directly in with Winnie following. It was very luxurious, grand hotel, the whole interior from top to bottom.

Damien leaned his arms on the edge of receptionist table as he spoke to her. He passed her a smile and Winnie noticed him handing her his card. Are they flirting? Is he exchanging numbers?Winnie thought, not liking the idea of it. They were talking so much but Winnie couldn't hear as she was sitting on the couch in the reception area.

Annoyed with their flirting, Winnie decided to interrupt as she coughed to get his attention but got no response.

She coughed again and he ignored her again. It was very much clear that he was ignoring her on purpose.

"Can you just give us the key, Miss." Winnie said totally interrupting their small flirting session.

Damien turned towards Winnie with his one eyebrow raised in question. The receptionist glared at Winnie before handing the keys to Damien, "Here are the keys to penthouse 23, I'll have someone take your bags up."

"Penthouse?" Winnie asked Damien.

"It has more then one room, Miss. I know a sister needs privacy from her brother." Stunned at her words, Winnie stormed her legs loud on the floor. Did she really make her his sister? To her annoyance, Damien chuckled over it.

"Come in." Damien said as they both sat on the couch of the penthouse. It was quiet big and had three room in it. Winnie was excited to choose a room for herself.

Winnie bit her tongue in frustration before entering the lift, it didn't take long until the doors opened onto the penthouse. Inside it was grand again showing the expensive taste this hotel had, Winnie settled into the living room where Damien removed his jacket causally throwing it on the sofa.

The door knocked, "Come in," Answered Damien. The door opened to one of the staff who was struggling to carry the luggage, Damien offered no help but ushered him in. The man dropped them down before making his way out.

Already tired, Winnie stood up to take her luggage and decided to take the first room since she was way too exhausted. As she made her way, "That's my room." "Ugh!" Annoyed enough, she went to the second room.
