《His Personal Chef》Chapter 5

Today has been another dreadful day not to mention he asked for coffee 6 times. I wonder if he wanna poison himself with coffee.

Talking about the devil and he shall appears, "Yes, Mr Knight. How may I help you?" I asked, trying not to sound pissed off.

"Let's go."

"Where to?" I looked at him dumbfounded.

"To the meeting with Mr Christopher." Annoyance was clear in his voice. "Of course, Mr Knight." I bit my tongue. I totally forgot. I grabbed my laptop, purse, and coat as we walked to the elevator. As it went down one floor, it opened and a boy entered winking at me, I looked upto see Damien and he saw that. "I have never seen you around here?" The boy asked. He fairly looked in his early 20s.

"I am new." I smiled at him.

"You're beautiful I must say. Your name ms..?"

"Winnie Smith, you can call me Winnie."

"Lucas Johnson." He said giving me his hand to shake. "Ok." I nodded as I shook my hand with him.

As the elevator opened reaching the ground floor I heard the annoying voice of Damien, "If you're done chatting, let's go." What crawled upto his pants this time?

"See you later, cupcake."

When we walked out of the building, there was a man in a suit standing by the passenger seat holding it opened as we entered. Soon we drove off to our destination which I had no idea where it was.

There was awkward silence in the car. Neither of us said a word. I started at him in question wondering why his behaviour is so rude towards me.

He turned towards me and with a scowl on his face he said, "Can you stop looking at me?"

"Don't flatter yourself, Mr Knight. I was actually looking at the bird outside from your side of window." He raised his eyebrows at my lie.

"It's Sir for you."

"Whatever!" I turned my attention back to my side of window, mumbling under my breath. I think he heard me but whatever.

Soon the car stopped and I followed him inside the resturant where the meeting is supposed to held.

"Mr Knight, I am glad you could make it." Said the man I suppose is Mr Christopher.

"And who is this beautiful young lady?" He asked me. I extended my hand to him. "Winnie Smith." Instead Of shaking it like I thought he would, he kissed it about several times. Was it weird? Yes but more disgusting cause he was leaving wet kisses.

But this was a meeting about a potential partnership and I didn't want to ruin it by saying what I wanted to. I guess Damien could tell it made me feel weird because he stepped in "Mr. Christopher why don't we begin now."

Then Mr Christopher let go of my hand but not before kissing it again and shooting me a wink.

We took our seats, I opened up my laptop and put down all the necessary information. Throughout the meeting, they spoke about how much money and all the other benefits that would arise if they partnered up for a project.

Every so often when I looked up from my laptop, I would catch Damien's gaze already on me but he'd quickly look away.

"Well, the idea isn't bad. What do you say, miss..?" Mr Christopher asked for my opinion. "It isn't." I nodded.

When the discussion was finally over, Mr Christopher looked at me, "And what's the name of such an irresistible beauty like you?" I blushed at that. "Winnie Smith." "Well, winnie you know you're beautiful." Ok so now it's starting to creep me out. "This is my card if Mr Knight ever dismiss you, I'll be glad to take you in my company." He winked and bid goodbye to us. He just made the situation more awkward with Damien.

"Why must you flirt with every man out there, Ms Smith."

"Excuse me," I was taken aback by his question.

"Can we go if you're done." I stood up as I noticed his coffee cup was already empty.

"Sit." huh?

"Order something." He said looking at me as I shook my head in a no.

"I said order something, Ms Smith." He ordered again in more affirmative tone.

"Frankly Miss Smith I don't like to repeat myself and you're wasting my time here." Rude much! A smile grew on my lips and I nodded. I was really hungry.

I ordered food for myself and when it came I didn't waste more time to dig in. He sat still as he waited for me to finish. I wonder why is he not eating? This giant dinosaur is only hungry for coffees. I stared at him while taking all his time to eat. But the little affection that he showed me made my heart burst with happiness.
