《His Personal Chef》Chapter 3

"I don't like this unprofessional attitude of yours, Ms Smith." He glared. "Now where was I?" He continued giving me instructions on what is basically my job. "I need my coffee by 8:30 every morning."

Coffee? "Now I don't see how you sipping on coffee at 8:30 is any of my business?" I questioned.

"It is, as you will be the one making it."

"You did not appoint me as a personal chef here, Jerkface." I snapped at him.

"You used to love making coffee for me. In fact 'food' for me. Don't you remember those good moments, Princess." As he taunted, I closed my eyes to calm my inner tiger.

Not taking it further, he continued, "So you need to be in the office by 8:15 every morning."

"Are you kidding me?"

"I'm not." He narrowed his eyes at me.

"So I just have to make your coffee? Is that kind of work experience my dad wanted me to get from here?"

"Not exactly but these are your duties as my PA."

"PA? Whoa! what?"

"My personal assistant, Ms Smith."

"Now I need you to go grab me papers for my printer from ground floor. Then this file is needed to be sent at Harleys Enterprice, make sure to ask my driver to deliver it there and then let me know my schedule for tomorrow. After that write a summary about this file. At 5 sharp I want you to go to my Tailor and grab my suit." Noted. Wait! what? I didn't understand the last sentence.

"There is no way I'm going to grab your suit from your tailor, Damien. That's your personal work, I am only here to do company's work." I pinched my nose in annoyance.

"I said as a personal assistant that is one of your duty. Now get out from here before I lose my patience with you, Winnie." I sighed inwardly.

'How dare he treat me like that, gosh I feel so annoyed.' I said to myself stomping my foot on the marble floor.

"Your desk is right outside my office." What?

"Do I not get a room for myself?" I questioned. "No!" Well! what a shame I get no privacy for myself.

"The whole floor is for me and you only. No one is gonna disturb your so called privacy. Now take your ass out of here." He answered my unspoken thought. Is he reading my mind now. What a witch! "Chill, chill! I'm out."

"But wait! When is my lunch break?" I politely asked. What a mannerful lady I am. "You do realise it's too late to have a lunch break today, right?" I pouted. Ugh! I stepped out of his room. I really needed lunch break though.

By the time I was done, it was already 5pm. I laid my head on the desk and tried taking a short nap. Tried: the key word. "I won't pay you for taking naps, Ms Smith." I heard a stern voice and quickly got up from my seat.

"Why are you still here?" I looked at him confused. "What did I tell you to do at sharp 5?" Annoyingly, he asked. I tried to remember but my brain was being dumb. I deep thought again but still couldn't remember anything. What a fantastic memory. I patted myself inwardly. He glared at me and reminded me I had to pick his suit from his tailor at sharp 5 and its half past five now. Crap!.

"It wasn't saved in my memory." I excused myself. I took the address of his tailor and using company's car went to grab his suit. "So you're the new assistant?" His tailor asked. I nodded. "It's surprising as he never had a female assistant before." Holy cows! That manwhore never had a female assistant. Unbelievable. What if he is gay now? Very funny! I literally laughed at my own joke.

Hurriedly taking the suit, I went back to office where I guess he must be patiently waiting for me. I knocked at his door and waited for answer but got no response. I knocked again. But still no answer. So i went inside without bothering to knock more. I couldn't believe what I just saw. He was literally sleeping on his table. His head was down on the table as he breathed in and out in peace. Was he awake whole night or what.

"Mr Knight." I called.

"Sir."

"Sir." No response.

"Damien." I said a little louder and that got his attention as he woke up and rubbed his eyes at me.

"Do you pay yourself for taking naps, Mr Knight?" Taunting his words from earlier, I smiled at myself. I always get back at people.

Ignoring my taunt he asked, "What time is it?" "6 pm."

"I have to go for a photoshoot." Alright.

"And you're coming with me." "What? no!" I exclaimed.

"Yes! you are." "It looks like you really want my company everywhere, Mr Knight." I faked smiled at him.

"Your father wants you there, Winnie. Don't think about impossible. Beside you're not really my type." Whatever, Jerkface.

"Well you aren't my type either." I snapped back.

"That's not what you said 4 years ago."

He looked amused bringing past up.

"Why must you bring past, Mr Knight." I muttered, clearly hurt by his words.
