Rue was running for her sister’s life.

“Faster, faster, faster-” she kept muttering as she poured all her strength and speed into her legs.

In her hands was undeniable proof that Agito’s connection with Aizen was only for blackmail.

Kiseki was a genius but even he had trouble trying to find the sleeper kido within Rue’s soul. To find a sleeper kido, was to find a single cancerous cell within an entire stadium full of people. It was a Herculean task but one he could do. But on a time crunch… no one was safe.

Especially not Agito.

“Faster!”

“Diabolos-san!” cried out Ichigo from behind her. Desperation had made her faster and pure fear now fueled her legs.

“I know!” They could feel it. The Soukyoku has awakened. They were only half way up the hill.

They wouldn't make it in time. They wouldn't make it-!

“Gabriel!” shouted Rue, “Give me wings!”

‘Say my name,’ Gabriel, the Archangel of Intelligence whispered in Rue’s ear.

“גַבְרִיאֵל!” Rue shouted, her tongue burning at the name passing her lips. Her chest filled with light and without warning, two ghostly wings of pearl and opal appeared and her feet became useless.

She leaped into the sky and with a single stroke of her wings she cleared the last length of the upward climb and with another stroke, she past the forest.

The sight was nearly biblical. At the feet of the crucifixion were the witnesses and scorners, those that cast their stones. Agito raised in the air, arms spread, her head tilted back as she accepted death. The tip of a spear awashed with fire thrusted at the messiah.

“AGITOOOOOOO!!!”
