《Conquer {BLEACH}》(85)

Agito Diabolos!” announced the Soutaichou.
A single line of taichous stood before him with their fukutaichou at their back. It wasn't often did an execution of this caliber was done.
Coming up the hill and within sight was one prisoner, Agito Diabolos, dressed in a plain white yukata, chained by a reiatsu suppressor and linked to four kido specialist guards.
The Soutaichou continued, “Avowed Shinigami for the last three-hundred-forty-eight years. Charged of a hundred year treason against the Gotei Juu-san; Guilty! Charged with murder to a Kuchiki Noble; Guilty! Charged with resistance to arrest of a hundred years; Guilty! Unauthorised travel between the three worlds Seireitei, Hueco Mundo, and the Living World; Guilty! Charged with willful actions of anarchy, developing an army of sizable size and force for the express purpose of initiating war with the Gotei Juu-san; Guilty!
“Charged with the murder of Kubo-taichou of the Third Company and Tristan Akitani of the First Company; Inconclusive. Charged with of the now known Vaizards, dating back a hundred years; Inconclusive. Charged with the manipulation of the Substitute Shinigami Ichigo Kurosaki and his associates; Inconclusive. All inconclusive charges are not held against the soul on their execution but investigations shall continue after erasure to close all cases.
“With the weight of the sums of your life, what have you to say for yourself, Agito Diabolos?”
It was no big secret that the sum of her life was full of treachery, battle, and nothing good. All the growth that flourished under her care was for war, her son was dead, her soldiers rotten, and her family not even here in attendance at her execution.
The people at attendance couldn't help but pity the woman and feel contempt. Her entire existence was a quest of destruction that almost tore the Gotei apart. So many lives were ruined because of her and Aizen. So many mistakes and fallacies that would never come to light for centuries to come. Her legacy was a scar upon the Shinigami face.

Agito stood before her judge, jury, and executioner, hands bound behind her and her head down. Her hair was long and fluttered around in the breeze, hiding her face. Some thought she was praying, others were tense and waiting for her composure to break for lunacy, but most thought she cried tears of sorrow having to face the reality of her death and the end of her existence.
Her head lifted and for all to see, she smiled the brightest, happiest smile she could ever give.
‘With the weight of the sums of your life, what have you to say for yourself, Agito Diabolos?’ the Soutaichou had asked and there was only one thing she could say.
“I sing anyways.”
The Soutaichou gritted his teeth and gave a sharp nod, seeing Agito’s last words as her last defiance. The kido specialist guards unbound the chains connected to her red shackles and choker but rebound her to an inescapable bakudo that forced her arms up in a crucifixion.
Agito looked up at the bright blue sky, and there before her was the Soukyoku. A huge hundred foot spear, designed for the execution of a souls existence. During the execution of one Kuchiki Rukia, the spear was seemingly destroyed by a ritual devised by the Shihouin. The Soukyoku was not a zanpakuto bound to any soul so it shouldn't have been remade. But that is a disservice to the Kido Special Forces. The Soukyoku was remade and now stood shining and new above the execution grounds.
Agito slowly began to lift up into the air, the kido around her working as a lift to get her precisely in the right place for her last moments. She watched as the Kido guards turn their backs, now moving to join the ring of Kido specialists at the base of the Soukyoku. She looked around and saw no friendly faces or tears. It was a cold and heartless scene.

She looked up, drawing closer and closer to seeing eye-to-eye at her death.
Without her permission, tears began to fall.
“You are my sunshine,” she sang, voice ringing out among the Hill, “My only sunshine.”
The Kido Specialist at the foot of the Soukyoku finished their chant, awakening the beast. Seals and binding kido snapped off, the reiatsu of the Soukyoku came alive, alight with cleansing fire. It grew hot and the bright flames were blinding but Agito refused to blink. The blade gleamed in the fire before the flames twisted.
A sharp beak of a Phoenix appeared and losing yellow eyes glaring forward, twin wings unfurled and lengthens the entirety of the Hill. The Phoenix roared with a voice of a million flames. It took sight of Agito and maybe it was her imagination but the beast paused. Her mind thought of how phoenix’s were said to be able to see the heart. How they were the only just ruler because of it. She wondered what it saw. A blacked heart dripping in blood, a truly righteous soul for death?
“You make me happy-,” she sang with joy through tears fell, “-when skies are grey.”
Or … did it see how much she tried her best and though she failed many times, she still tried. Did it see the love in her heart for her family and friends? Did it see her mourning?
A single thought came to mind: what if she deserved forgiveness?
She panicked.
Agito prayed that the Phoenix could see her blackened heart full of sin and found no mercy. She prayed that it looked closer, see the monster hidden in her belly and knew what to sacrifice.
“You’ll never know, dear, how much I love you-”
The Phoenix screeched once again, the hot air blasting forth. It lunged forward.
“So please don't take my sunshine-”

Cary Simms: The Fairy Mushroom Forest
From a young age, Cary Simms knew that she wasn't like the other boys her age. She didn't know why or how that was, but it seemed apparent to the bullies of her school. They would often call her names, chase after her after school, and beat her up when they could catch her. Her only protection, besides escape, was in the words of the Good Book. But that was before she stumbled into the supposedly haunted house at the end of her street. When a mysterious ring and a drawing on the back wall of the post office opened up a whole new world for her, things quickly went from weird to scary. At a new school, in a new world, surrounded by people who had access to magic, all Cary could think of was how to escape the witches that had her trapped there. It was only having her best friend by her side that gave her any comfort at all. ***This is my first attempt at a middle grade book, and would appreciate feedback. Please note, this is a second draft, and might not represent the final product.***

The Gods are dead As they bled dry, so did the magic which gave them birth. In the new era of technology, its pathetic remnants must hide in the shadows or be locked away. In the ancient era of magic two beings often stood out: Galileo, an immortal scholar obsessed with knowledge and Angelica, the most loyal servant of the greatest among the now dead Gods. But why are they worthy of mention? Because after millennia of isolation, the two emerge in the new world beyond their reckoning. The entire story is told from the third person, however, each chapter will be told from the perspective of only one of the characters. This will be signified by the first letter of their names after the chapter number to avoid confusion. I submitted this fiction as a [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] as well as a participant in National Novel Writing Month. The original challenge had been to finish this entire faction within the month of November reaching the 55.5k word minimum. This goal had been achieved. I do not own the cover picture

Reborn into another world, Zelhaut (Zel-ha-ute) turns his biggest weakness into his greatest strength. Cursed by the gods, he must survive in this new world. All the while drifting further from being human every day. .... I'll try to do at least one chapter per week. Chapters are usually between 2000 and 2800 words long.

Born to Bellatrix and Rudolphus Lestrange, Lazarus is more than he seems. [I suck at summaries, this is a reincarnation story and will have a very powerful but not overpowered MC] [No Harem]
8 69Free Your Mind
A journey through the mind can be a mixture of the good, the bad, the pure, and the evil. Free Your Mind is a collection of poems and short stories that I've written over the years. As of now, this book is still in progress, but I've planned to release at least 25 to 30 chapters minimum for Free Your Mind. Hopefully you enjoy reading through the works already published for this book, and I hope you'll stick around for what's to come in the future. If you have any comments, ideas, critiques, etc. please let me know! I'm always open to what people have to say about my work. Free Your Mind is a way for me to dabble into releasing my writings for the public to read. And hopefully, if all goes decent with this book, I'll continue to upload different works alongside this. Note: Currently the cover work for Free Your Mind isn't mine. I plan to upload an original design once I've completed the chapters for this book.
