"Not human?" You asked yourself, holding the sides of your head. You didn't think you were special and couldn't recall any time you did something supernatural other than seeing hollows. Your life was pretty normal, boring even. It was eat, work, sleep and repeat. Nothing ever changed until last night. They were the odd ones out, not you.

"Then what are they?" Muguruma asked, not following his claims.

"How'd you come to that?" Hirako tilted his head. You weren't a quincy, reaper, arrancar or hollow. What else could you possibly be?

"They're just a mere soul, that's why it doesn't have an effect." He answered.

"If it's a soul then how were they able to last so long in the world of the living without turning into a hollow? Kurosaki said he's known them for years and hasn't spotted a chain from attachment." Suì-Fēng said.

"That is something only they can answer, but it seems that while they managed to get a physical form, their memories were wiped in the process. Leaving them to be this new character they created for themselves." He answered.

"So they're basically, cheating death." Kurotsuchi finished Kyōraku's sentence with him.

"How did you manage to do such a thing?" Kurotsuchi asked, facing you. You couldn't answer, too busy dealing with a headache due to trying to make sense of things. "I wonder, how special were you to have been rewarded with such a big prize? What did you do that was so magnificent?"

"Wouldn't they have known when and how they died?" Kotetsu asked. "When their life ends, are their memories wiped each time?"

"The only time something similar happened was when Senna made an appearance." Kyōraku said. "Be sure to inform the other captains of this new information, Kurotsuchi." The captains left the laboratory and the chamber opened.

"What's wrong, you heard the information you wanted, aren't you satisfied? Well you can go back to the world of the living, but you will be held in the Urahara shop. Go on, you'll be escorted out by the stealth force."
