It was a cold January night I slowly walked around the barracks. Yet again I spent my birthday alone but it didn't bother me I never had any family around to spent it alone but it was tradition for Me to come out and stare at the snowfall.

"Ms.Xi what are you doing outside during this fierce snow storm" A cold voice asked I slowly turned to face my captain. "Oh hello Captain Hitsugaya.... The night is beautiful" I smile at him I got an annoyed look in return. "You never answered me? Its going to get worse out why don't you come in and have hot chocolate with me" We both blushed I giggled at how cute he was I was only 1 year under then him but 5 inches taller then him.

"Captain I would love to drink hot coco with you sir but um This is how I celebrate my birthday after being alone all day I come out and watch the snow fall it makes me feel like uh I can't fully explain it but before my parents were murdered they would do this with me" I felt tears come in my eyes I hadn't realize Toshiro walked closer to me.

"I didn't realize it was your birthday I'm sorry Lyric" I looked up at him shock. "Captain Hitsugaya it-" "Call me Toshiro please" I blinked a few times as cold soft lips touched mine I recovered and kissed back my hands weaves into his soft white hair deepening the now heated kiss.

"Capt- Toshiro what was that for?" I ask after we pulled away for air I was pulled into a warm hug from the cold captain.

"Because I love you Lyric ever since you awkwardly crashed into me at the academy" I blushed and smiled at him.

"But I thought you loved Momo?" "Nope not after I met you now will you do me a favor?"

He pulled me into another sweet kiss. "Lyric will you be my girlfriend?" I grin and hugged him. "Yes you just gave me another reason to love winter nights" He chuckled softly as we held our embrace
