《A-Team》*Final Chapter

"Ok on three," I whisper. "One. Two-"
"I gotta pee," Mikey hisses, resulting us in shushing him really loudly. At that point, the Kraangdroids have discovered our secret spot and we all groan.
"Way to blow our cover Michelangelo," Raph snaps.
Its been weeks now since Raph's recovery. Weeks since Master Splinter approved of us, and weeks since Donnie admitted his guilt to Mikey. Everything is...perfect.
Sure, Raph and I continued with our fights, but in the end, we resolve it with a heated kiss and I couldn't ask for a better solution. In a matter of minutes, we are finished with our set of Kraangdroids for the night. Raph gives me a devilish grin, a sign that he is delighted to be able to fight once again.
"We should go home guys," I instruct. "Its getting late."
Raph rolls his eyes and snorts.
"Last one to the sewers has to clean the toilet!" Mikey yells.
"Now that I think about it, we don't even have a toilet. But I guess its pretty reasonable since we're turtles. We're not exactly civilized- HEY!" Donnie rushes behind Mikey and I begin to run when Raph holds my arm.
"Lets stay for a bit," he suggests.
"But they're already ahead," I complain. "They're gonna beat me."
"Oh relax. Its not like you're gonna win anyways. We both know I'm faster," he says with a smirk.
"Shut up buttface," I fire and he chuckles.
"Let's walk for a bit."
"You say that as if we weren't giant mutant freaks Raph. Yeah lets walk without anyone seeing us," I say and cross my arms.
"You know? Sometimes your sarcasm hurts," he says and pulls out his bottom lip.
"I wasn't trying to be sarcastic," I reply.
"Having your permission is too hard. I'm just gonna drag you," he says and grips my wrist, and drags me.

"Jerk," is all I say but I can't help but smile.
We wander on top of the buildings, watching the city lights and humans enjoying their way of being. Kids are being chased by their own parents, huges smiles taking over their faces. We even watch couples out on dates. One of them are dancing in front of an Italian restaurant, the lady giggling nervously as the man pulls her close to him.
I observe their steps. It seems quite simple. Their bodies move rhythmically with the music and all they're doing is holding each other. Seems pretty romantic...
"Wanna try that?" I blurt out without looking at him.
"What? Dancing?" He scoffs. "Of course not."
I shake my head and try to hide my blush. Of course not. Raph is not the dancing type. Heck, not even I am, but it would be nice. Maybe someday...
"Unless...unless you want to?" He murmurs and plays with his shaky fingers.
"Yeah I want to," I confess. I grab his hand and make him face me. His cheeks are a deep shade of red, almost matching his mask, and I wrap my arms around his neck. As if on cue, another song plays. Raph awkwardly stares at me.
"I don't know what to do," he admits.
"Put your arms around my waist, I instruct calmly. He happily obliges and his body visibly relaxes.
"Okay now we move to the beat," I whisper. At first its an uncomfortable situation, both of us moving in different directions and stopping to agree on which way to sway. But then we get the hang of it, our movements making more sense. We both laugh when we step on each other's feet repeatedly.
Ohhhh oooh be my baby, and I'll look after you.
I lean my head against his chest and close my eyes. Somehow Raph is humming this unknown song and it cools me off. I begin to hum along even though his voice is so much better.

After the song finishes, Raph lets go of me and kisses me softly. Our kiss is really slow, but I savor every moment of it.
"And you say you aren't romantic," I joke.
"Only for you baby. Only for you."

On our way back home, we race each other. We decide to take the long way home and make opposite turns. The whole time I'm smiling. The night offers us a nice breeze and a sky full of stars. Everything is so peaceful and having Raph by my side makes everything magical.
Suddenly I am pulled behind a block on top of a building. I stare at Raph who points below. I am panting and trying to gain breath as I follow his finger. Not far away from us is Shredder with some Kraangdroids. In his hands are mutagen containers and they seem to be having a discussion, but we aren't close enough to hear.
"Woah," I whisper. "That's not good."
"I know." He bends foward to get a closer look.
"We should head home Raph. We can deal with this tomorrow," I urge on. I've had such a lovely time and just the sight of Shredder makes my stomach queasy. All I want to do right now is go home and perhaps have a little fun with him.
But Raph seems to have a different idea. His eyes are glued to every movement Shredder does and before I know it, he takes out his sais. I shake my head and touch his shoulder. "Raph?"
"Lets get him," he says and is about to jump down when I pull him away harshly and glare at him.
"What the fuck are you doing?" I hiss.
"He has mutagen. Let's stop him," he replies coolly.
"Shredder almost killed you and now you want to fight him? Were you dropped as a baby?"
"Yes. I was dropped into mutagen," he says with a light-hearted laugh and slaps his knee.
I sigh in disappointment but laugh along. "You're crazy."
"Look Leo,"he says with a deep sigh and grabs my hand. "We're ninjas. We're the A-team. We can handle anything. As long as you're with me, I don't mind getting my butt kicked again but this is who I am and that's not gonna change," he says firmly. "I don't want to work alone but its just..." He licks his lips. "I love fighting so much."
I stare down at our intertwined fingers and struggle to reply.
Raph kisses me swiftly, pressing his body against mine. "I love you dork."
"I love you too," I reply.
He spins his sais in between his fingers. Then with an unbelievable yell, he runs towards Shredder and jumps on him.
My mouth falls open. Shit this is actually happening. I take out my katanas and take a deep breath. I focus on Raph, the way his body glistens against the moonlight as he jumps in the air. I smile fondly at my younger brother fighting our enemy that almost killed him. I don't feel surprised at all. Raph will always throw himself because he loves challenges and action. There is no changing that.
He will always be my rebellious brother, ignoring my orders and pissing me off.
And I wouldn't change a single thing about him.
"Idiot," I murmur with a grin.
