《A-Team》April and Casey

Its been a long time since we've seen April. She's gotten a bit taller, at least reaching my height. Her hair is tied up in a high ponytail and her bangs nearly cover her eyes up.
When April sees me, she engulfs me in a tight hug, her face burying in the crook of my neck. I smile as I hug her back.
"Is he okay?" She asks, her voice muffled.
"Yes," I reply. She lifts her head up and puckers her lips. Her eyesbrows knit together as she holds my face in her hands.
"I'm gone for a bit and you guys end up dating each other?" She says.
I let out a fake cough and shrug helplessly. "I can explain."
"You don't have to explain Leo. Its a bit shocking but don't worry about it. Casey is on his way to visit," she says and places her hands on her hips.
I nod and touch her shoulder. "That's good April. Raph would like that. And thanks for understanding," I say.
"You know you guys are special to me right Leo? I'm always here," she says.
I grin. "Thanks April."
At that moment, Casey arrives with a huge bag. He struggles to get it across the room, so as an attempt to not make himself a fool in front of April, drops it to the ground.
"Hey man," I greet.
"Sup Leo," he says. "How's your boyfriend doing?"
My face heats up. "Better."
Casey gives me a cocky grin. "I never in a million years, guessed that Raph and you would be together. Did you guys get hit by a bus or something?"
And this, is Raph's best friend?
"Casey," April hisses.
"No its okay April," I say. "What's with the big bag?"

"Oh its my belongings," Casey replies.
I frown. "Explain."
"I wanna stay here for a bit until Raph gets better,"he explains.
"You don't need so many things,"April argues. "He'll be fine by the end of the day."
Casey is about to comment on that, but April ignores him and takes the bag with her.
"I'll take these in Raph's room." She takes it with no struggle and I laugh.
Suddenly Donnie rushes to us, nearly pushing April down. "He's awake," he pants and wipes his sweaty forehead. "Leo. You can go see him."
"So I brought medicine for nothing..?" Casey shrieks, but his voice disappears.
Donnie's words bring me a jolt of excitement and with a beating heart and an aching chest, I run to my Raphie.

Milton
A Cyberpunk Coming of Age Tale The Apocalypse is ugly. The only lights that work are battery powered or neon. Scroungers kill your neighbors and take control of their bodies. Gang wars run rampant in the perpetual night, as usual, except now, most members have magical spells to defend their turf. Life certainly changed once the Rainbow Letters came. For Milton, things changed for the better. The world became familiar. He could find loot, learn skills, and equip weapons and armor. It was all much easier to understand than the perils of pre-Apocalypse life with its grocery shopping and going outside. Then he discovers Ragnarok, Orchestrator of the Rainbow Letters and all of Milton’s problems. The race to figure out why is on. If Milton is to survive long enough to find answers, he must first be strong enough to confront his worst enemy: himself. * This is work in progress and NOT professionally edited. * ** This story is humorous in the begining, but gets very dark around the turning point. Reader discretion is advised.**

Saints and Suffering: A Naruto Fanfiction
Synopsis: Naruto and Sasuke were unable to defeat Kaguya the first time around, and suffer immensely for their failure. They travel back in time to right their wrongs, but struggle with the repercussions of their failure and the unintended consequences of their actions. Author's Note: This is fanfiction, I am a first time author, and I make no claims nor guarantees to quality. I have another story floating around in my head, but I am writing this first in order to practice my skills and gain feedback. Please feel free to give constructive criticism, I will try to read and respond. No guarantees to upload schedule or speed will be made. I work a full time job, and I am not particularly fast at writing, though maybe speed will increase as I become more practiced with my storytelling. This work will essentially be my playground moving forward; I'm going to write about scenarios that tickle my fancy, and the overall story may suffer from it. I will endeavor to keep continuity though. I have an outline that I am working on, and there is an overall arc to the story already. Furthermore, as of the beginning of this novel, my intention with this novel is to explore negative emotions and use my writing as a form of meditation/therapy. When I am sad, I will write sad things, and when I'm happy, the story will be happy. Lastly, there will be religious undertones every once in a while. Hopefully nothing too heavy handed though.
