《A-Team》Kiss Me Again

When we were younger, we loved to go out of the surface without our father's permission (mainly Raph's idea) and explore the outside world. On our journey we experienced good things such as food, but we also saw so much violence.
Raph has always had this boldness inside him. He felt the need to protect people. Even though we were just kids, he was determined to fight. Because of this, he always got hurt badly, resulting me in bandaging him up.
Raph hated it when I cured him. His face showed embarrassment and anger. He never liked the idea of someone taking care of him. That's his problem.
And that was mine too. I didn't feel comfortable at how the tables turned. Now it was Raph who ended up bandaging me and taking care of me. As time passed by, he would stand by me and make sure my hand was healing. There were arguments between us to the point where he gave up on me. But he always came back and made sure I was okay.
Since I can't really train, I decide to take a walk in the sewers. Its boring and I need to get my body exercising.
"Hey Don I'm going for a walk," I tell Donnie who is building something. Spark fly as he cuts metal. Huge goggles cover his eyes and his tongue pops out as he concentrates.
"Uh huh. Have fun Leo," He replies.
I smile at my hard working brother and begin my way out of our humble place. The atmosphere grows colder and I find myself relaxing. I take a deep breath and protect my bandaged hand.
"Mind if I join?"
I jump and turn around with wide eyes. Raph bursts out laughing and I squint my eyes at him.

"Seriously you gotta knock or something," I whine.
"Yeah Leo cause there are doors in this part of the area," he says while rolling his eyes. He joins me and crosses his arms. "What's up with you jumping around me?"
"I don't jump," I defend myself.
"Yeah you do. You're like little girl Fearless," he laughs again and I bite my tongue to prevent myself from saying something rude. I don't want to start an argument. Not now.
"Whatever," I mumble.
"Woah sorry Leo. You okay?" He asks.
Its the millionth time he's asked me that. Ever since he...kissed me...he's asked me this question and its odd for someone like him.
"Yeah," I reply with a small smile. I face him. He's smiling, showing off his perfect white teeth. The long bands of his mask flow freely over his shoulder. Not a day has gone by without thinking about his lips on mine...
"Hey I have an idea. Lets race?" He says.
"No Raph," I groan. "I wanted to take a nice walk. Not run a fucking marathon."
"Calm down moron. We'll just run up to those big pipes over there," he explains and points out into the distance. "Last one has to do whatever the winner wants them to do."
There is a hint of excitement and curiosity behind his voice. His eyes light up as he speaks and I find myself growing weak again. God these strange feelings need to stop!
"I watched that stupid hero space show with you. You owe me. Come on," he begs.
I frown. "Its called Space Heroes."
"Same shit. Now let's go!" He exclaimes.
"But my hand-"
Raph is alreadg running and I grumble. I force my legs to move and I catch up to him. I don't feel any pain, mainly because I'm more focused on beating Raph. We jump over small rocks on the ground and laugh as we reach each other.

My adrenaline is running. When I turn around, his eyes meet mine and he smiles at me. I smile back and gain speed on him. The wind blowing on my face makes me feel light and free.
"Wooo!" I yell.
"Hell yeah!" Raph shouts back.
I am surprised when he runs in front of me and makes it to the giant pipes. I slow my pace down as I reach him and support myself against them. We both pant, trying to catch our breaths.
"Hey not fair," I breath out. "You got a headstart."
Raph doesn't reply right away. He gives me a smug face, his lips twiching into an evil smile and his eyes sparkling. He moves closer to me and I try my hardest to remain calm.
"I won," he remarks. "I won. I won. I won."
"It wasn't fair," I retort. "I think I win this round."
"No you don't," he says.
"You got a headstart and didn't let me finish my sentence," I reply. It was a lame excuse since I had reached him but I didn't like him rubbing it in my face that he won.
He hesitates before replying. "Fine. What are you going to make me do then?" He asks carefully.
I freeze in my position and watch him carefully. What should I make him do? I haven't really thought this through. Maybe it should be something horrible or embarrassing to cause a laugh.
I don't mean to but my eyes travel down to his lips and then to the lightning bolt of his plastron. I like that crack on him. I like the shape of his lips. He looks so heavenly right now despite the sweaty condition he's in.
"Kiss me," I whisper.
"W-What?" He stutters.
"Kiss me again," I say a little louder.
Raph tilts his head. My cheeks begin to heat up. Crap what was I thinking? Tears begin to build up and my mind fill with thoughts. He hates me more now. I never should have said that!
Unable to bare the thought, I am about to run away but the force of his lips crashing into mine stop me. I keep my eyes open for a while and let them close. I allow myself to kiss him back even though I have no idea if I'm doing it right.
Our kiss is sloppy and short but its amazing. A flame ignites inside me as his arms find their way around my waist. With my good hand, I mindlessly place it on his cheek.
We separate and hold each other for a few seconds. Our breaths are shallow and fast. No one of us say a word as we recover from the kiss. A slight headache comes upon me.
Shit. Did I just kiss Raph? My own brother? And why did I love it so much?
