Jos watched as Lucy climbed up on the wall overlooking the crowd. He was in complete awe of his wife, making an impromptu speech to the crowd. Though they knew the illness risks, the Black Lives Matter protests in London were something far too big for Lucy to miss. She knew she had been seen as something as a traitor back home in Kenya for marrying a white man, by some at least, but she needed Jos there. He was her rock, she never would have achieved the things she had since she met him without his support.
