《Laughing Jack X Reader》Chapter 10

Tears fall down my cheeks as I stare at the scene in front of me. My friend.. my BESTfriend, lay on the floor gasping and choking in his own blood, his eyes missing from their sockets.

"Well, wasn't expecting that!"

The clown chuckled as he grins at the eyes stuck on his blood soaked fingers. He noticed my face and gave me a wink before sticking out his tongue and slowly licking Ash's eyeballs, wrapping his tongue around them and pulling them into his mouth before crunching down.

"OoOo juicy"

He laughs to himself, only causing more and more tears to stream down my face. I couldn't believe what was happening. This, was all real. My friend...my friend is really dead!

"HOW COULD YOU!!"

I scream at the clown, instantly covering my mouth, not being able to control my own body from yelling at the murder who stood before me.

This clowns expression turned from a sly grin to an angry snarl. I could hear him grinding his teeth as he slowly walks towards me, stepping over Ash's body like he's nothing.

"Who do you think you are! How dare you yell at me! You fucking bitch, I should just KILL YOU RIGHT HERE!"

He roars as he snaps his shark like teeth, growling as he charges at me to strike.

Terrified, I scream and make a run for it, only just missing his swing of sharp claws, heading for the stairs.

"GET BACK HERE YOU BITCH!"

He roars, chasing after me.

My heart was practically pounding in my ears. All I could hear was my loud breathing and racing heart. I could feel my pulse jumping in my neck, practically making my skin pulsate.

I run to the bathroom, knowing it was the only room in this house that had a lock on its door.

Speeding in and slamming the door, locking it behind me before sitting on the floor, leaning against it for extra strength of keeping it shut, holding my hand over my mouth and nose to try and silence my heavy breathing.

"I know you're in there"

A low voice growls from the other side of the door, followed by a horrible scratching sound, causing me to grit my teeth and clamp my hands over my ears, trying to block out the sound. It was like nails on a chalkboard. Or a fork sliding across a plate.

But then, it goes silent. I hear no breaths, no scratching and no growling.

Did.. he leave?

Slowly turning around trying to not make any noise, I carefully take the key out of its lock, quietly placing it down before peeping through the keyhole. It was hard to see being in the bathroom with no light and having no lights on in the hall either, but I would still be able to make out some kind of outline. But I saw nothing, all I could see was the stairs banister.

Taking my chance, I quickly but quietly stand to my feet, stepping away from the door and tiptoeing to the window and opening it. But I freeze as I suddenly hear pounding footsteps get louder before he suddenly bursts through the door, breaking through the wood like it was nothing. Screaming I scramble for the window but I suddenly feel something smother around my face, grabbing me and yanking me back, shoving me to the floor, with such a force I smack my head and fall unconscious.
