doctor MC, MC from zombie apocalypse, ancient times, OP MC, DEVOTED ML

Shiyi did not expect that, in the last second that she was bitten to death by the zombie. After being beaten by the zombie, she came to the "ancient times" in their history books . She arrived at a poor mountain village and met a silly man.

Hmm.. it's been awhile since I read a female lead novel cos my recent reads were all male MC-no CP-world hopping or BL, not sure if that's the reason but I didn't really like this much.

So our MC is from the zombie apocalypse world, she transmigrated to ancient times and met our hunter ML. Hunter ML is fascinated by MC right away and he brings her home to help her/feed her, MC follows him to know the rules of this new world. So our MC discovers the joy of being a foodie (they only have nutrient solutions in the future) and decided to cure ML's grandpa as thanks.

MC lives in ML's house, enjoying his food and drink and being bothered by ML's shameless relatives. She also earns money on the side by being a doctor since she's gathering funds for when she leaves. The whole world knows that ML is inlove with her, so before leaving, she decides to break ML's heart by telling him she hates him for being such a stupidly good person ʰᵘʰ (ꐦ○_○）. Nevermind that she is also among the people that ML 'stupidly' helped.

Laters, MC left the mountain village and goes to the City, ate other foods, and cure other patients and she discovers that she misses ML very much. Finally, she went back to the mountain village to reunite with ML. She finds that there are changes at ML's home, ML went hunting everyday to earn money to renovate his home exactly as MC described she would like it (when she was still staying with them before) and ML has also became more taciturn and not so helpful to other people anymore. He also became estranged with the shameless relatives that bothered MC before. 

MC is uncomfortable with ML's change and after not receiving ML's love confession when she came back, she became the more active one instead. Of course, they eventually got together, MC got pregnant and they had a little bun. MC also became a "good person" and decided to build a school in their village, adopt an orphan and sponsor smart but poor kids. When the whole village was poor due to the conscription, she built a medicinal field and opened pharmacies in the City to create jobs for the villagers. Hmm... what else, she also became friends with a highranking noble lady who helped her popularize her cosmetics. #Spoiler The daughter of the lady became the little bun's side CP.

Ending/Extras is MC getting pregnant again and having a daughter, their son also grew up to be strong in martial arts, MC & ML later retired and travelled all over the world. When ML died, MC soon followed. The End.

Hmm... I understand that MC is from the zombie apocalypse world, the trust no one/dog eats dog world, and she's cold and distrusting and she's probably just using ML when she went to his home. And ML's relatives are indeed annoying and ML indulges them too much which fuels their greed BUT BUT! It just didn't sit right with me when she used that point to break ML's heart. Like, being 'helpful'/a good person is part of ML's personality. Because he's been helped by many people, he wants to help others too. The fact that MC attacked that part of ML irks me so much. 

After she came back, she just waltz right into ML's life, I didn't see any apology to ML for saying those things back then, she just feels 'a little uncomfortable' with ML's change like he's afraid of being told that he's a stupidly good person again, so she decided to be the "good person" this time around. And I understand that this is a FEMALE LEAD novel, but after MC became "the good person", I guess, it felt like ML was reduced to a supporting role instead of the Male LEAD. Ahhh... I dunno, I just didn't like our MC very much =_=

I did like that she felt moved after seeing the changes in ML's home, and she felt distressed in the thought of 'What if she never came back? Then everything ML has done would be useless' and her hands-on approach of solving the problem (ex: making-the-noisy-person-mute) or never being ambiguous with others is also really good for me. I guess that ruthless move just left her a very bad impression with me.

Hmm.. other than that, the rest are just okay. The poor-to-rich, take the whole village to prosperity, being a miracle doctor in ancient times follows the common route as other transmigration novels.

Overall, its just okay for me. Nothing particularly bad in the plot etc., the MC's personality just didn't click with me :P Going back to BL XD
