Next, we're shown ML whose educated youth wife divorced him cos "their marriage was a mistake.", she went back to the City, leaving behind her and ML's two kids. ML retires from the army to take care of his family and his mom urges him to find another wife cos the children can't be "motherless."

Laters, he saw MC and finds her attractive plus she's good with kids so he proposed a blind date. They meet, liked each other then got married. On their wedding night, they found out MC was still a virgin (MC didn't inherit all of OG's past memories) and now they know that its possible for MC to be pregnant.

ML's family is still not separated, ML is the older brother (1st branch) and then there's a little brother (2nd branch) who is already married and their little sis. Although it can be said that the whole family's income/expenses is shared/charged to the 'public fund' but its practically ML's previous salary (when in the army) and current salary (village secretary) that is raising their whole family. Now lil bro's wife/the second sister-in-law keeps targeting MC saying she is being favored by their mother-in-law. Anyways, she employs some vicious female supporting tactics and after being found out, the family finally separated (ML's parents followed ML) and lil bro also divorced his vicious wife.

Next, MC becomes preggo and the college entrance examination is resumed. She encourages ML and little sis to take it with her, and also, ML's little bro but he was still depressed from the divorce so he didn't take it. MC, ML and lil sis all passed and they went to the provincial Capital to study. They also earned money by selling snacks, and laters, recipes for snacks. The next year, Lil Bro also took the exam and passed and also went to the City with them.

Hmm... what else, they also meet ML's ex-wife but ML warned her off. MC also gives suggestions to her maternal family so they can also get rich thru fruit trees and livestock. Then some of the kiddo's POV (ML's son with his first wife) who finally called MC, "Mom" after all these years. Also, also, the side CP of little sis and a police guy who pursued her (This is a cute couple ^^).

Hmm.. like I said, it was just okay for me, all pretty normal. I actually didn't like it that much at first cos it felt like MC was too...passive. After being divorced and going back to her maternal home, she showed her sewing talents and earned money through that but I really didn't see her making plans for herself... ML's mother as well, irked me big time when she was looking for young unmarried girls for his son and protested when she found out that ML chose MC, a divorcee. Like, double standard much??? ML was divorced as well, who can look down on who? Of course, she changed her mind once she met MC. The family drama that followed with the vicious second sister-in-law was okay, the college arc was just okay. Have to say, my favorite part is the side CP with the little sis and the police guy cos lil sis was crushing on this guy who was her previous classmate and acted ambiguous with her. But as soon as he showed no signs of stopping her blind date, lil sis immediately sobered up and kept her distance from him. (Dodged a scum bullet!). Lil sis is also MC's biggest fangirl XD
