Until one day, he didn't want to be a supporting lead anymore.

Well, going through a reading slump so turned to some of my favorite authors. From the same author as

Our MC transmigrates to 'wronged' supporting male leads and change their endings.

- Original is the Female Lead's fiance, however after rebirth, FL switches places with her cousin wanting to live her cousin's successful previous life. MC teaches her that rebirth doesn't necessarily mean success.

- MC is the Father of the 'vicious' supporting female lead (ex-fiancee of the Male Lead). Originally a professor, but he took over the company so it won't fall into the hands of the Male Lead. Came up with many inventions. #spoiler The Male Lead is simply SCUM. Kills people at every turn and blackmailed the FL (MC daughter's BFF) to be with him.

- MC is the FL's Uncle. He was framed and died along with his whole family. At the same time, FL parents/family also died cos of court politics/royalty. After losing all her loved ones, FL blackens and topples the corrupt dynasty. OG was a dude spoiled rotten by his stepmother, after changing to MC, he funds the rebels and toppled the dynasty and became Emperor instead.

- Republic of China. OG is the Male Lead's brother-in-law. In order to transform the ML from an idealistic youngster to a 'mature' soldier, author-sama killed off ML's wife/MC sis. When he needed another transformation, author-sama killed the OG next. MC comes in and stays at the rear support as a doctor. Also established an orphanage and helped many war orphans. MC orders a System item here: yin-yang eyes and helped the dead reincarnate. I like this arc.

- Reborn Male Lead plagiarizes OG's successful work and steals his wife.. Destroys OG's reputation so he can't expose his plagiarism. MC comes in, and becomes not only a talented screenwriter but also a great director. Expose the true face of Male Lead and cheating wife.

- OG is from a peasant family and has a child bride. Unexpectedly became a scholar and caught the FL's eyes. After he refused the FL, the ML killed his bride and later his whole family as revenge. OG becomes the villain promoting the feelings bet FL and ML and they eventually get together. After MC comes over, he matches them early so they can only harm each other.

- Holiday world. OG is a conman, picked up a transmigrator from ancient times and made him his disciple then pushes his crime to him. MC comes in and uncovers the backstory of the disciple.

- Switched at birth. ML is the brother of the true daughter. In the original story, the two girls would become rivals and would fight. After MC comes in, he educated the fake daughter not to resent the true daughter. Also, tells both his lil sis that he loves her the most/favourite sister. Lol. MC is like a playboy, two timing his sisters. Lol.

- Holiday world. This has a very magically brainless heroine, she was spoiled by her family and thinks that the whole world should let her. Urgghh. OG is her fiancee. After she found a better man, she cancelled their engagement, making it sound like OG's fault. Years later, they meet again. FL is scared that her current husband would find out that he was not her 'first love' so she suppresses MC's family everywhere until they died. After MC came, he exposed FL's real face, also had a happy marriage and led the village to prosperity~~

- Typical male stallion setting. Male Lead falls from genius to waste then finds some inheritance and counterattacks. Object of revenge is his arranged marriage partner. MC is the fiancee's elder brother.

- OG is the son of a single mother. Childhood friends with the FL. When a rich second generation entangles her, OG tries to help, but he was also affected and was even bullied until he committed suicide. FL blackens and revenges for him. MC comes in and becomes a little writer to support her mother. Also, solves the rich second gen.

- Ancient times. MC is the Emperor's Uncle. Cos the Emperor's father (ex-Emperor) got the throne by disabling MC, they are always guarded against MC. Reborn FL is MC's wife in previous life, but she was not satisfied with her life, wanting to climb the Emperor's bed in this life. MC rebels and becomes Emperor.

- MC's reward is to go to the Real World. He chose ancient times. We get his backstory. #spoiler He was used as a medicine tester by his Master, he became unaging/undying and lived a very long life till modern times where the System found him. After refusing the Harem System, a newly born System found him and he agreed to be a Host again.

It's the familiar formula but I still love it. I love this guarding/change the ending missions. Not necessarily faceslapping the FL or fighting the ML head on, but living a better life than them/making them envy and hate. My fave arc is Village Secretary in the 70s (still in 60s-90s phase) and Healer in Troubled Times (this one made me tear up QAQ *sniff*) but I think the most interesting one is Villain in a Faceslapping Upgrade Text, cos it tackles the soooo manny unreasonable factors of Male Stallion novels. Lololol. Like how come nobody ever found the 'ancient heritage' before the Male Lead and that sometimes its not necessarily a treasure, just some outdated technology. Read this for HEs :D
