70s, educated youth, transmigrated into a novel, Mary Sue-ish MC.
Li Man transmigrated into a 70s novel and became a Bai girl who was abandoned by her educated youth husband on the mountain, choosing to save the heroine and leaving her to die.
As soon as Li Man crossed over and saw the boar rushing towards them, she knew that she has entered on her death scene.
According to the description of the book, in the next moment, her educated youth husband will suddenly rush out, hug the heroine and roll on the spot, avoiding the wild boar's attack. He will pull up the heroine and ran down the mountain, without paying attention to her from start to finish. When the people at the foot of the mountain heard the screams and ran up, the original's body had already been battered and cold.
Li Man waited on the countdown of her death, and indeed the next moment, the educated youth husband of the original came.
"Come on, hurry! Hurry! Pick up the heroine and roll on the spot.." Li Man waited for the next plot of the book to unfold.
Song Yu: "..." Is his wife stupid? She didn't know to run when she saw a boar and was still thinking about him picking up the girl and rolling on the spot. There were too many scenes and fine points?!
The plot did not unfold as scheduled, Li Man foolishly watched as the gentle and handsome man put her on his back, picked up a stick of firewood on the ground and slashed at the wild boar that rushed in front of the heroine. After being hit, the boar fell to the ground, vomiting blood, convulsing and dying.
....
Song Yu died in the frontier battle. He opened his eyes and saw a woman almost drowning in the pond.

He saved the woman, took responsibility and married her.
Trying to adapt to this strange time and space and raise her.
But in the past few days, something seems wrong. It should be said that since he carried her down from the mountain that day, something has gone wrong. Every time he did something, she looked at him suspiciously while still muttering something in her mouth: "God. Oh, the handwriting of this scumbag is so good!" "Mother, isn't the scumbag an educated youth from the city? Plowing the land, training horses and catching mad cows... The most important thing is that he can also appreciate treasures, so, so omnipotent!!!"
From the same author as 60s Reorganized Family. Hmm.. its okay but I prefer 60s RF more.
So our MC encounters an enthusiastic passerby telling her about a same name cannonfodder who dies early in the book. Laters, she read it and noticed that some of the cannonfodder's details are extremely similar to her even her grandparents names. Then she transmigrated in the novel on the OG's deathscene (as per the synopsis)
However, unlike in the book, her husband (who was supposed to save the heroine) rescued her instead. Laters, she noticed more and more that our ML (the husband) is different from the description in the novel. ML confessed his identity to her (general from ancient times) and MC also told him the truth about her later.
Anyways, ML being an "educated youth" didn't stay for long. He was recruited in the army because he can use martial arts. Laters, they moved in the military compound and ML made achievements, they also learned about MC's real life experience. And I can only say that MC/the OG must be the real heroine in the book, because if you check it carefully, everything that the book's female lead and male lead achieved is all because of the connections of MC/the OG's relatives and friends.

Anyways, MC & ML live in the military compound, they adopted a kid, met with MC's real relatives, meets ML's relatives/in-laws. Ending is the wedding. And then Extras is moving to Beijing and MC's Fathers come home.
Hmm.. I guess it was different from my expectation. Because of the "educated youth" in the title, I thought it would be about the village life, the collective etc., instead its about the army/being a soldier again. Also, its set on the 60s-70s but you can't really feel the characteristic of the times cos MC's family lived in the barracks, and they're quite rich. What bicycle, rainboots to buy etc. MC family can easily can get it, so it all seems pretty normal/like living in modern times.
I was interested at first cos there were different ethnicities, like our MC, she belongs to the "Bai people", and I guess they have their own culture like singing while working, riding horses etc. But after they moved to the army, it wasn't that emphasized anymore. Also, our MC is a little too perfect(?), being described as a fairy etc., plus her life experience, she's living the heroine life. She's a very different MC from Su Mei of 60s Reorganized Family. (Sorry!)
ML's work also would've been interesting cos it involves being undercover and fighting against drugs etc. different from soldiers fighting in wars in other novels, too bad it wasn't that elaborated on, just some small snippets. So this...distinguishing feature(?) also fell short for me.
Overall, its just okay for me. This could've been a memorable novel, I feel like the author-sama failed to take advantage of MC (Bai people culture) and ML (anti-drug/undercover work) unique characteristics and it became just a generic novel.
Read this for sweet MC & strong ML living in the army.
