I just can't help comparing it to 60s Reorganized Family, and I prefer that more than this.

So our MC transmigrated into a book as the as same name cannonfodder. The book is actually written by her jealous cousin so MC's fate in the book is really miserable. She has 2 sons and 1 daughter. One would become a disabled male lead, the other the villain, and would fight to death over a black lotus heroine. The daughter would be trafficked and join a drug dealer and would also die miserably later. MC in the book would attract various kinds of scumbag, be played with and then thrown away and then meet the next scum man to play with her feelings.

MC came over and raised the three children, separating from ML's family. ML comes back from his mission (they thought he died) and lives with her. But he is filial to his mother so even if MC does not like the mother-in-law, she doesn't stop him. The kids are wary of ML first cos he is so good to their grandma who bullied their mother. Laters, MC confesses her transmigrator identity to ML and even the ending of the children in their family.

MC runs for village secretary and then get promoted to deputy director of Women Federation and then get promoted again later. Anyways, instead of business management, our MC engaged in officialdom. ML is still in the military performing missions etc. Some shrewish troubles (it comes with MC's job), spies, jealous colleagues plus the scumbags in high position attracted to MC in the book. You can say that something is always happening to MC and family.

They also later adopted two little villains: the one who would become a drug dealer and die with the trafficked daughter in the book, and the 'Big Boss' behind the villain son in the book. Laters, MC also became pregnant and gave birth to another son.

As of C214, there are still many conspiracies involving MC's sons/godsons. It never stops.

It was good to me at first. I mean, MC fighting the evil mother-in-law and raising little wolf cubs who love her very much. They're naughty but you can see that they're extremely protective of their mother. ML was also cute...singing the national anthem to himself so he can fall asleep instead of thinking of his very beautiful/fragrant wife. He's also curious about bedroom knowledge and MC often teases him since he can only look but not touch. The village secretary stuff is also nice, leading the village to prosperity and all.

After coming to the Women Federation though, there will always be shrewish battles, cannonfodder women/little girls using means to discredit MC's family. Of course, MC would faceslap them but it kind of happens often that its tiring. MC's children are also all bear kids outside, only well-behaved in front of MC so they would sometimes provoke problems.

Then there are the scumbags coming to MC as fated on the book. What's hateful is that these scum men would always have high positions, and abusing their power. MC would still have to use some means to deal with them. Then there are spies, conspiracies etc. who are targeting MC's family. Some of them are even ML's former comrade-in-arms/friends/colleagues which kind of leaves a bad taste.

How to say... I wanted more slice of life. I mean, its okay to be exciting, something is always happening, the book won't be boring, but can the author-sama insert some family life episodes in between? Like this, its never peaceful, there's no breather, it feels like MC's whole life is just solving problems for the sons/godsons/daughter/husband/her own work.

Also, the villains/cannonfodders are really disgusting but what's frustrating is that some of them wouldn't even be punished cos they have a background, still dangling in front of MC family. They're very recyclable cos after MC faceslaps them, a couple of arcs later, they're there again instigating MC's children, and as if they didn't learn from the previous lesson, MC sons/daughter would interact with them again and then a problem occurs and MC has to solve it. =_=

Maybe its more realistic that way, I mean, you can't catch all the bad guys. But its also making me lose interests in reading cos I'll just get angry and there's nowhere to vent XD Also, there are no successful side CPs so far on all of MC's children. Either, there are instigating cannonfodders adding trouble to make them breakup or her son's girlfriend became a white-eyed wolf and worked as a spy.

Like I said, I just can't help comparing it to 60s Reorganized Family. Same wife MC involved in ML's career but MC here is TOO involved and her means are very manipulative sometimes, like naming the factory after the dead son so it would get approved or asking little girls with the same sickness as the dead wife to solicit donations. There's also the kids, compared to 60s son, MC kids are more...overbearing. They're just obedient in front of MC but still creating problems outside so I can't like them so much. Sigh. Dropping this now and going to BL~~~
