transmigration into a book, Chinese Economic Reform, business management, poor to rich
When she woke up, Ye Ning became the delicate girl who always shed tears in the book. At that time, she eloped with a man and took the compensation money for her father's accidental death...
According to the plot, the man would get rich with her money and later marry Ms. Perfect, abandoning her. She would then return home only to find out that her sister had long been human trafficked while she was trying to find her.
Unknowingly, because no one had cared for him, her brother became a beggar and died tragically after taking a rat poison...
So, Ye Ning hid the compensation money from the scumbag and decisively bought a ticket to go back home. She was going to change her younger siblings' lives along with her own...
It's...okay. Probably cos I've already read , so its not as impressive for me. It has no bad parts, but the good parts is not better than Back to the Sixties (for me)
So our MC transmigrates into a book set in the 80s. She becomes the ex-girlfriend of the Male Lead. When the original's father died, the original and the Male Lead eloped, laters, the compensation for her Father's death was used by the Male Lead as capital and their lives got better and better, then the Male Lead met the Female Lead and then abandoned the cannonfodder original. The original also has two younger siblings, because she eloped, the two did not have good lives in the countryside, the younger sister was trafficked and sold as a wife, while the younger brother was abused/starved. In the end, he died after eating poison. As for their mother, she abandoned their family long ago.

MC transmigrates in the middle of elopement, she decisively leaves the Male Lead and goes back to her hometown to raise her younger siblings. MC is smart and mature, she made sure that they would not be entangled by troublesome relatives, planning hers and her sibling's life from now on. They leave their village to live in the City. She has a steady job and used the compensation to buy land and shops then earn money thru rent. After the younger sis graduated from highschool, they move to Beijing where MC started a clothing business that later became a luxury brand. Anyways, getting richer and richer~
For our ML, he is the original's childhood friend. They were penpals but after ML's mother interfered, the original stopped writing to ML. After meeting ML, MC resumed contact with him through letters. They get to know each other, and ML slowly fell for the 'changed' MC. They meet in Beijing, and after ML confessed, they formally started a relationship. ML also quit his job and became a businessman like MC. His business is more on appliances, motorcycle etc.
They get richer then got married and had a little bun. The End. Extras is (1) the younger sister dreaming about their 'past life' and she suspected that MC might not be their real sister but she is very thankful to her for raising them and changing their destiny, (2) younger bro finding his own side CP (cute!!), (3) one of MC's bestfriend (another side CP) and lastly (4) MC's Mom finding out that MC has become rich and successful and wanted to take advantage but MC was not soft-hearted.
Ending was a bit abrupt to me, so good thing there were Extras to supplement BUT... the ending in the Extras is not peaceful (#spoiler With MC Mom cursing them for not saving her =_=).

MC and ML relationship is good, but romantic scenes are few since they're both busy with their respective businesses. It was mostly business management in the later half, even the two younger sibs has less screentime. Also, I keep thinking about their Dad who died (his body was never found) that maaayybbee he was actually alive? (He's not T_T) I just felt bad that he wasn't there to enjoy the blessings. Also, I KNOW that its not all happy endings but I would think that being BFF with the MC should have benefits from author-sama but here, they were only given tragic stories (One married an abusive husband, while someone married a playboy so she can get a greencard for her family. Both of them got divorced later.) Cutest love story is still Little Bro's~~
Overall, this is an okay novel for me. More on business development than romance. There are younger sibs, but it doesn't really feel like a warm family slice of life to me. I do like that MC discusses her decisions with her younger sibs esp. when it comes to money. She would also suggest investments to them, but its up to them to make the decision. But yep, I wouldn't exactly call it heartwarming~. Read this if you like poor-to-rich/business management set in the 80s~

A Demon Lord's Reincarnation
Selina’s got a pretty active imagination. When doing math, she pretends that she is a great detective solving a heinous crime! Ordinary tasks, like a trip upstairs, turn into a perilous adventure to raid a dragon’s cave! She believes that life should be full of wonder and magic, and tries to force the world to cope with her conviction! But when Selina wakes up to remember her past life as the Demon Lord, she has to face the fact that real life is messy, and not anything like what she imagined. With ancient powers stirring, family problems, and the hectic life of a teenager, Selina will have to discover more about herself if she is going to survive the trials ahead. With the help of her best friend and a fair share of luck, she might just get through this alive. Maybe. (Updates (hopefully) on Sundays) This story started out as a flipped isekai. Instead of a hero being pulled into a medieval world, a Demon Lord is pulled into the modern world. It has since moved a bit beyond that initial premise but it is the foundation of the work. Along the way, I threw in dragons, elves, dwarves, and some vampires (but no werewolves, gotta nip that in the bud) all wrapped up in the political drama of a modern world. The story, however, will mainly focus on the characters and their development and as such, is a bit of a slow burn. It may take a couple of chapters to get into. You have been warned! (PS, please show patience for the author's notes. They're a bit crazy and don't always make the most sense. The author's a bit of a ditz. Please ignore him.)

Observations of the Nameless
Sometimes the world will just whirl by without a care for its inhabitants. Each passing day bring a new experience unlike the one before it. Why do we do anything... That's a really good question, isn't it? Author's Note: Each chapter is about 300 words, so that's the reason for the short story tag even though this will be a (somewhat) ongoing series. Expect an update twice a week on Tue/Wed and on Fri/Sat. No set time, but likely afternoon or evening.
