transmigrated into a book MC, little bun, actor ML, live broadcast anchor MC
Chi Wen's short life has been bumpy. Ever since he could remember things, he was already living in the orphanage, growing up without a family. Later, he entered the entertainment industry and became a first generation film emperor. However, he finally ended up in ruin. In the end, Chi Wen jumped off the top floor of a building, but did not expect that he would get a chance to open his eyes again...
Back to his infancy, Chi Wen coldly looked at the woman who was laughing s*upidly in front of him. He waited, waited until the moment she finally abandoned him.

Fu Yuanruo was transmigrated as the cannon fodder in the novel 'First Generation Movie Queen.' When she first transmigrated, it happened to be the plot point when the malicious cannon fodder tried to frame the female lead for the last time. After that, her evil deeds would be exposed. The whole netizens mocked, and her father angrily drove her out of the house. A former wealthy and pampered young miss fall into the mud and finally died after accidentally falling into the water...
Because of the high popularity of the original book, the author used the daughter of the original female and male lead as the protagonist for the second book. The villain who had been against the main couple of this sequel also met his just end and died tragically. After his death, the female lead let out some vague words that made readers speculated that this villain was the illegitimate son of the prequel's cannon fodder.
After recalling the plot, Fu Yuanruo stared at the pregnancy report in her hand. She was tangled: give birth or not?

Haven't binge read a BG novel in a long long while. Although there is a disgusting fake white lotus heroine who keeps jumping about, but MC's approach of keeping toxic people away ensured that this was an almost no drama~ Even the step by step 'revenge' of ML to the braindead male lead's family was only mentioned in a few sentences, and they didn't really dedicate much airtime on him.
As per the synopsis, our MC transmigrated into a novel as the heroine's stepsister. With the heroine's white lotus act, stepsister has long been given the label of 'vicious' and was just about to experience a tragic end. Our MC's initial thought was: escape! So our MC escapes to the countryside and lived the life of a single mother. She was actually hesitant at first cos she knows her son is also the villain of the next book (FL is the heroine's daughter) but in the end, she decided to keep the child cos she wanted to have ties to this new world.
Now villain son is reborn! He is an orphan in the previous life so he keeps watching his mother when she would 'abandon' him. After hearing some of MC's words about escaping death, he thought that his mother was reborn too! And she didn't really abandon him but that he was sent to the orphanage cos she died. Since then he wholeheartedly loved his mother and after seeing MC's soft temper and naivety, he swore to protect her in the future.
Laters, they meet ML who recognized MC right away as his one and only one night stand, but our MC didnt even know what the guy looked like XD (cos they were both drugged and she escaped right after without looking) so he approach the mother and son and tried to integrate into their life before telling the truth.

The rest is warm family life, ML chasing his wife and some revenge to the novel's male and female lead, with our ML having a huge background~ Like a Hidden Last Boss! XD
Extras is (1) MC & ML Wedding, (2) Villain son rebirth to his previous life. In this world, ML is not his Dad cos the original didn't escape the heroine's trap. (But Villain son still looks the same??? That's not how genes work!!??). Still, after he contacted ML, ML chose to adopt him and then when he grew up, he revenges on the heroine and male lead himself before waking up to find himself with his family again. (So Villain son lived 3 Lifetimes?? Wow.) (3) Then there was also the original/stepsister who replaced MC in her world. She enjoyed the love of MC's family and would always worry for our MC cos she might be bullied by the heroine. She would often pray for her, hoping that someone would come to protect her. Then there was MC/the original's Dad who regrets neglecting her daughter but MC is not willing to contact him... and last is Villain son meeting the heroine's daughter years later.
I must say that MC's approach of escaping was completely correct, instead of exchanging tit for tat with the disgusting white lotus. The original has an explosive temper and was really just a bad match with the heroine.
I love the peaceful and funny life of the mother and son in the countryside. Villain son is rebirth, but I can't really see him as an adult XD At best, he is just a slightly smarter child, easy to distract with food, would often act spoiled with his mother. The way he always wants to protect his mom is adorable!! When ML showed up, most of his interaction was also with Villain son. The father and son interactions are very warm and funny. With villain son experiencing what its like to have a 'Father' this time around...
Life in the capital has more ups and downs (with the heroine showing from time to time) but its also a good catalyst for the feelings of MC & ML~~
Overall, read this for warm family life of MC and the little buns~

Bitter
The story of a girl who finds her life is not what she wanted. So she gets another one. Schedule: Story has been completed. Book One is available free on Amazon and EPUB. Books Two to Five are out now. Final Book out soon. Chapters will be around 500-1000 words. This will not change so if you don't like reading very short chapters wait till the end of the week or even end of the month. This many chapters a week isn't easy to pull off so please bear that in mind. This is a VRMMORPG story, but the ones I've read tend to use VR as an excuse to get into a fantasy world and then don't really play up the game aspect other than pulling up a status screen every now and then. To me, MMOs are about more than the fantasy setting. Bugs, exploits, devs who don't understand their own game, OP classes, over the top nerfs, p2w, ridiculous RNG, cash shop fiasco, lockboxes, raging players, broken mechanics, limited bag space, tedious crafting and above all that, a company trying to squeeze money out if its playerbase while pretending they're just in the business of having fun. Of course, then there's the orcs and elves. This story is about finding yourself in a completely immersive fantasy game, but it's also about what a game like that would really be like.

A Standard Model of Magic
The world ended, and magic came back. The part our parents didn't expect, was for Science to break on reentry. Twenty years after the apocalypse, with our nations dismantled and hidden continents unearthed, a new generation has grown up in the wreckage of 21st century civilization. For us, the fantastic is at our doorstep and we have had no choice but to fight back. Meanwhile, the laws of nature bend and break at the whims of immortal gods, all of which are now dead and none of which are content to stay that way. But we cannot afford to give up. We are the stewards of a rewritten century, in which a little luck and a whole lot of magic might make anything possible – maybe even a world better than the one we lost. A Standard Model of Magic is a complete overhaul of my old story A Storm in the Fall. I'm afraid I was unhappy with the LitRPG elements, which I don't mind reading, but I apparently loath writing. Sorry. Once I'd made the choice to decouple the story from the OF that inspired it and reconfigure the magic system to my satisfaction, little of the original plotline survived. I will be salvaging most of my original characters, and I will keep some elements which are endemic to the genre, but that is all. I don't have an update schedule which I can commit to yet, but I will try to maintain a weekly pace.(This is currently RoyalRoad exclusive, since I'm lazy. If you find it posted elsewhere, it wasn't me and it wasn't with permission) If you're interested, I've set up a discord.

A Mildly Odd Reality Breaker
Omar receives an unexpected visitor who comes baring a gift—a "registration ticket"—in the form of a small metal card. The ticket is itself an offer to participate in the game, "Reality Break." Accepting this offer means that Omar will be able to perceive the true nature of reality where there is not one, but two dimensions of time, and in this second dimension history changes (and somewhat "frequently"). Along with this, he will also gain access to the "chronopause"; another reality that is not so much parallel to our own as it is perpendicular, which acts as both a place and the natural boundary between non-sequential points on the timeline. Using the chronopause, Omar will become a chrononaut with the ability to travel through time, and as a player, he will be given a cybernetic interface and his own portable extradimensional storage space. It's a strange conversation, but due to Omar's dismally short attention span, he only consciously hears that last bit about the portable pocket space, and that's only after the physics-defying void is opened in his living room and literally waved in front of his face. Reality is certainly stranger than most people realize, but then again, so is Omar. Thankfully, he responds well to shiny things, and for better or for worse, his chronic inattentiveness is the least of his psychological issues. Omar also has a mild form of "Oppositional Defiant Disorder" which presents itself as an occasional, arbitrary need to disobey others (especially authority figures). However, his oddest psychological issue by far is his "abnormally hyperactive" subconscious mind. Outwardly and consciously, Omar is a lazy, apathetic man-child prone to mildly asinine behavior. Subconsciously, he's some sort of genius capable of extraordinary feats of cognition. Most of the time, Omar is a (technically) functioning adult, but in order to live as such, he must rely entirely upon unusual abilities he's completely unaware of, despite the fact that he uses them regularly. Up until now, his life had merely been ridiculous, but now it was also a game. Note: The narrative style is that of a reliable narrator with a "3rd-person sarcastic" POV. This story takes place in the Reality Breakers/Chronopause universe.
